1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership --- Donate to Exhumed Race game on: July 11, 2014, 06:30:56 PM
Why would anyone want to remove the "ASIC-algos"? It's completely stupid. Let's say you go ahead with that - what will you do once the algos in place get ASICs created for them? Will MYR be forked every time ASICs are created for an algo? MYR isn't being dumped because of that - it's because there is no perception of solidity in the project as it stands right now. Lots of brilliant ideas, a true anti-51% attack system in place which will be utilised by Bitcoin sooner or later - but there is no proper driving force in place. Using cuss words on twitter or bla-blahing any criticism which is leveled at the Development team is a huge turn-off for investors. Start pulling your own weight - and this applies to all the whiners on here as well. There is a dire need for developers to step up the pace on the current projects - why not try searching for any potentially interested guys instead of complaining on here? Why not spread the word positively instead of harming your own investment and spreading FUD? I understand that some of you might be 17-year olds with a bit of money made off Doge or some other crapcoin - but it's high time you realised what the world of investment is like and what it entails. Never, ever harm your own investment.

reddit and twitter should be clean/professional.

totally agree with apesconcert's ideas, clear and reasonable.

It's not only in the ASIC, the fact that the developers have stopped listening to the community of people, and when there is no connection to the trust coin falls and falls, as a result, developers are left alone with a coin. Coin should always evolve and it will not matter right or wrong! And our goal as a community to reach out to developers, because they do not let the coin for himself and for us!

The developers team answered  your questions and rejected your proposal in previous posts. No accept your ideas do not mean stopping listening to  community members. MYR has no serious problems,  if we community members still spread any stupid or scam ideas, the price of MYR would fall down into hell, maybe you guys are trying to lower the price and absorb it more.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership --- Donate to Exhumed Race game on: July 09, 2014, 03:36:06 PM
We need to shut down the amount of coins being produced.

Your infrastructure + community cannot even absorb 5 BTC in new coins/day...
Other coins like XMR... are absorbing 80 BTC/day... and seem to have a future.

A cool, innovative, well-executed coin is not enough...
If you do not have enough promotion, community, multipools to buy 5 BTC/day...
Then your price steadily declines... and now you are fucked because bagholders are dumping.

Thanks and agrees with yours opinions, those what our community needs to do, not follow the idea to shut down the supply of MYR.  Only 5 BTC per day makes the price steadily declines, this means investors includes community lose confident on MYR.  Now MYR has no serious problems. Why not buy cheap MYR right now? The main reason should be most of us are watching, waiting the lower price, pick it up or sell for short term profit.

Thanks for scammers, your goals to ruining MYR almost reached.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership --- Donate to Exhumed Race game on: July 09, 2014, 03:15:37 AM
GOOD NEWS FOR MYR , MYRIADCOIN MARKETCAP RISES ON COINGECKO (from 33 to 25 ):

Are you sure this is a good news for MYR?  MktCap downs to 363 BTC, and last 24 hours changed -12.925%
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership + Electrum Prypto Plugin! on: July 06, 2014, 02:48:50 PM
Now it is clear someone or group wish to lower the price of MYR, and made non-sense conversations to mislead community members.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership + Electrum Prypto Plugin! on: July 06, 2014, 02:16:33 PM
for all the negative people worrying about the price, think of things like this. if the price is at rock botttom, theres only one way to go......

UP!

While the algorithms are not protected Asik, and inflation is so large nobody buy this coin will not. Sad

Infaltion is large? At current prices you can buy the daily MYR supply for 3.5 BTC.
Considering that 25 BTC are created every 10 minutes: 1,5 minutes of BTC production = 24 hours of MYR production.

Well let's count - a day produces about 3 million coins, such as people bought 100,000 coins, the day of his state is around 3 percent per month will already composes 0.1 percent per year 0.008 percent!

novag,  my godness, could u plz go back to business school or find out the definition of inflation in Macroeconomics textbook. Do not mislead community members, thx.

Everything I mentioned earlier about fake share mining at sha256 myr.poolerino.com pool is still happening. ...

FYI, this anondings fella, is also showing up as the biggest miner at myr.suchpool.pw,  which i think phoenix mentioned is a pool where he has noticed this issue.

Im done.... couldnt give a fuck less anymore

OK, could you explain how they are scamming anyone except people dumb enough to mine on their pool?

Pool is a scam = don't mine there

PROBLEM SOLVED

MYR Price on Mintpal doesn't look good - don't some of these miners understand that you don't sell at any price - you hold until it gets better?

Because they get it for free, so selling at any price is profit, and they know that we know, so they have no incentive to hold (unlike actual miners).

The most they can steal is some fraction of the total hashing power on this shitpool. I STILL don't understand what kind of tard would mine on such a pool. So:

DON'T MINE ON POOLERINO - YOUR COINS ARE BEING STOLEN BY SCAMMERS EXPLOITING AN ANCIENT STRATUM BUG

Also, anyone who mines can sell when they want to. Lack of buying depth is probably the cause of the current price drop. Or someone is dumping coins to set up a pump. Or someone wants this coin gone for an unknown reason.

Regardless, current price is not that important as long as it's not zero and it's not dollar parity. MYR is built on a solid innovation, the devs seem competent+, there are goods and services for sale using the coin, and there is no HYPE.

Personally I see no reason to sell this coin in the near future!

This is not the first time community members mentioned, Fake share, AN  ANCIENT STRATUM BUG for  MYR mining. Seems that all five algo pools  had this bug and miners are not sure which pools are fair to mining. Now each algo has two or three alive mining pools, one or more pools might still operate this bug, it's difficult to judge and mining in clear pools, for this reason some my friends gave up mining MYR. Devs would u plz do a favor, provide your opinions or solution on this? thx

I am expecting to get back online soon. No set date. Here's what is going on in my personal life. I flew across country on short notice to care for a relative going through radiation and chemotherapy. My work box was a week behind me, but was smashed by FedEx. I had to replace a motherboard power supply and case. Fortunately my 290xs survived... That has set me back 2 weeks. I'm in someone else's house. They do not yet have a hardline to the web. I've been using mobile limited to a shared 6gb a month... Within the next two weeks my net will be solid again. In the meantime I have been a crypto advocate to several. Trust my methods I will build a solid foundation. Before any official announcements I will have products before I sell or push. We are on a fair course this is a ride of patience. It will take time.
Johnny

I made a reply to your announcement of P2P anon, why did you delete your announcement, and also deleted my reply

As I know Johnny never announced any developments of anon at this moment, did u apply to wrong thread since this should be your fist post to DRM community? plz check
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership + Electrum Prypto Plugin! on: June 24, 2014, 03:31:47 AM
I know multipools have been present on the scrypt algo, but there is another issue with the sha algo which I cant figure out.

For weeks now there is a 40TH/s miner on the poolerino pool, now thats way more speed than all the sha miners and all the pools as well.

What doesnt make sense is that this sucker never hits any blocks, I mean he should be hitting far more than anyone else but he never does, yet I can confirm he does get a piece of the pie when his pool hits a block.

Now I dont know if this is a multipool or an individual or some game played by the pool operators but none of this makes sense to me.

contact mike, it's most likely a fake share bug in the stratum implementation.

Im guessing thats the dude behind the pool.  Sent them an email.  Hopefully its something innocent.

naa its not possible. its been tested against that bug numerous times. that looks to me like a block witholding attack. (the same one that btcguild and eligius got hit by)

So how do you stop something like that.  Cant believe no one noticed it, especially the miners on that pool.

fake share has been a big bug for a long time as we know and never resolved by dev and pool owners, miner could earn MYR coins always less than 75% value shown on the statistic data of pools, sometimes less than 50% of the statistic data. And now multipool problem raises, seems that Scryt and SHA algo had more blocks more than others, this is unfair to MYR miners who believe Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] with high innovations, but MYR becomes an unfair coin for losing balance to five alogs. Dev could you please face those problems and fix them?

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] 2 Papers Released - Latest Projects || MAMMMP on: June 13, 2014, 01:45:03 PM
I have been mining almost 3 months, but mining efficiency for GPU rigs always be big problems, now only one or two pools work for each alog. , how could this still happen as MYR is a innovation and brand-new coin, at the meantime guys plz advise which Skein pools work and have reasonable profit at least beat electricity expense, thanks

p.s. MyriadCoin Skein - Cryptorus.com  has problems at backend, not fix yet, no payout more than 12 hours.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AC] AsiaCoin | Pure PoS | 100% Interest | Mandatory wallet update NOW! on: June 12, 2014, 03:26:17 PM
Any news with BTER? I tried to generate deposit adress this morning. like 7 hours ago.

I am in chat with BTER Support now for an hour...

I am not sure if I am seeing wrongly but AC deposits need 200 confirmations on Bter?

yes, AC deposits need 200 confirmations on Biter, I have asked this issue to Biter, now 200 confirmations necessarily is it's policy, and takes more than 3 hours to deposit, OMG
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AC] AsiaCoin | Pure PoS | 100% Interest | Mandatory wallet update NOW! on: June 11, 2014, 04:39:11 AM

Johnny, thanks all your team do the hard work. I think we are now in the phase two you mentioned in previous thread. Would you please move the plans or useful discussions/ideas in previous thread to this new one, this would help members know which plans we are still going on and continue the discussions. At the meantime, since this one is the third thread in one month, any update or renew would help members open the discussion and get attraction from members. thanks

What do people think about having a giveaway on Poloniex to coincide with the relaunch? I'm sure it couldbe easily arranged

Honestly, I have always felt that giveaways cheapens a coin.  Non supporters will just immediately put them up for sale.   DRM's quantity is very low and I feel we should use the DRM bounties towards development instead.  Non Dreamers will convert once they see we're heading for the clouds.   Just my opinion. Don't take it the wrong way.  Smiley

agree, some coins with huge supply utilize giveaway strategy for market promotion.  As trademark mentioned, DRM is only with 1.85M supply, how many giveaways we need to prepare for market expectation and make it work? Now the price of DRM is still undervalued and getting recover, using giveaway may hurt all of us. Once DRM returns a reasonable price, giveaway with limited time maybe one of the choices for promotion. Is there any members with marketing expertise could help new team making marketing  strategies?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Dreamcoin (DRM) on: May 23, 2014, 06:16:52 AM
DRM is being massively dumped once again. Unfaithful investors or just weak panicky hands?

Whale played the price in 2 minutes, did massively dump around 42K DRM (volume 0.55 BTC ) in poloniex exchange.

Dont be worried, the same drama have been 10 days.

I see people's concerns. I don't know the overall context that that snippet came from but have to agree his actions have been less than professional. Perhaps he will learn to curb his temperament. I am not advocating this type of behavior. I do wish for him to contact me directly though. With his cooperation  this transition will move smoother and will remove a fair amount of workload from the new team. I would like a copy of the source code, a copy of the block explorer and to have an honest conversation with him. I am a diplomat foremost, and feel the smoother the transition the better. We have a lot of work to do and with cooperation some of this work doesn't have to be as difficult

When you say source code, is that the file that was on his github account?  I actually downloaded it a week ago from the following link which is no longer active.  https://codeload.github.com/unknown69/Dreamcoin/zip/master   If this is the file you're looking for. PM me your email and I will send it to you.

glad to hear from you, good job

How the hell does carsen/hashx11 get away with making threats against the forum's users ?

Oh good grief.

I petition to ban the hashcoin/matrixcoin hack for making physical threats.  So now what?

And you think I should be banned?

Why do you want to waste the mods time with your silly nonsense?

I vote for Carsen out, he have bad reputation, and do not deserve to have a seat in DRM.
DRM will be much better without him.
+1
Yeah I don't know why the new team is even considering affiliating with him again. I understand that there are hard feelings, and some of you might feel bad for pressuring him with deadlines, development or what not, but his past posts/actions in the forum and the way he handled himself in this situation are inexcusable and you can not give yourself another chance to get burned. Do not mix emotion with business. You'll lose loyal investors if he comes back and the whole project will have a dark cloud over it.

hmmm, maybe for now, we must exclude carsen from DRM
lets hit this baby to the moon, then we'll talk about carsen later << L-A-T-E-R
just focus on development of DRM for now

TO THE MOON!!!!

If  u are interested in coins launched from carsen/ HASHX11/ DreamCoin, you may read threads as follows: seems that not long stories but the same things happened on Matrixcoin, Hashcoin and DreamCoin

I will do my best to help us move forward and beyond these set backs.
The true strength of any coin is the community that rallies behind it.
If you take personal stock interest in it and help feed it, it will grow.
It's not about the developer (though it doesn't hurt having a good one)
It's about everyone involved.
Let's build the dream

True...but please answer my questions
I think i did.

I want to get us on coinpayments that will get us on a few merchants Merchants are key here.
Also we need a paper wallet gen, and an android wallet however the android wallet will be another challenge because proof of stake coins work differently than proof of work coins others have been working on those problems so it's also an in the wings thing. with paper wallets we can start a canvasing campaign to sped the word to the outside world the more following we gather the better...
These are just some ideas for starters...

nfox and hozer, etc still gonna be coding anon right? pretty big + for us

Dear CS, you guys just rebuild this new team, would u mind taking a break let johnny_non have time to make plans? Dont forget the lessons we just learned.   thanks
