Oh my, see who is making all the noise lately Shocked
Seems like theymos is not playing this time around.
He's coming hard on everyone. No matter who you are, it doesn't mater.

We are now experiencing a double bear market, guys.
The first bear was bitcoin 2018 and the second one is theymos 2019.
Apologies, I'm not trying to evade my ban. Just to trying to express my views.

When was the report? Any proof for the date?
The fact that you plagiarized has already been proved to you, so why do you need a date?
Date of the report does not matter now.

Is it that an odd to use something that was made 2017 against me now? I know I made some mistakes way back but it's unfair to use that now after almost 2 years. why now?
Because, you committed a crime period. Crime never dies. I does not matter which year you get caught.

It was a mistake not something intentional. The only forum on Earth where junior members doesn't respect their seniors. At least I left BitcoinTalk a senior member with over 280 merits which you can never reach that for your entire life.

I moved on. I'm finally free from all miseries of merits, post counts, hilarious, and theymos today, theymos tomorrow. As I said, I moved on Smiley

So, what’s happening on 1 August 2017?

Even though Segwit allows for increased transaction throughput, not everyone is happy with its implementation. After BIP 91 was locked in, a group of developers, miners and users suddenly announced that an altcoin known as Bitcoin Cash (or BCC) will be created, a fork from the current Bitcoin branch and it will (among other things) not support Segwit.

At this time it is highly unlikely that Bitcoin Cash will have significant support from all the right stakeholders — miners, developers, platforms and users.

Most Bitcoin platforms, will not be supporting Bitcoin Cash. Customers who want access to Bitcoin Cash tokens will have to withdraw their Bitcoin from the platforms to a Bitcoin Cash-compatible platform before 1 August 2017. I can’t make any recommendations for any other platforms for now.

What do you think will happening next?

That's the thread that was reported and what you were probably banned for.

When was the report? Any proof for the date?

Is it that an odd to use something that was made 2017 against me now? I know I made some mistakes way back but it's unfair to use that now after almost 2 years. why now? Isn't that a blackmail?

I've done so many great things on this forum over the years that should be enough to make it even, I don't believe what I did 2 years ago should be used to destroy my reputation now. I think someone very powerful is behind this.

I thought BitcoinTalk is a land of dreams, instead it's turning into something else.

I don't think I broke any forum rule in all my actions. I just got burned without any good proper reason. Pointing out the posts I made 2 years ago when I was a "newbies" is pointless. It's just a blackmail, if not how could you questioned me for what I did 2 years ago? BTW, I made countless contributions to the forum but you guys now turn a blind eye trying to bury me alive. If I was doing something wrong at least you should warn me, the parma-ban is just unfair. I'm not some kind of criminal for God's sake!

By the way, I have a question?
Is posting relevant articles from external sites with reference URLs against the forum rules? Yes or no?

The way I see it, someone is trying to bury me before my time. Let's be frank!

You are burned same as all others members that someone reported for plagiarism, regardless of whether it is your first or the last post on this forum. There is no warning for such a violation of the forum rules, and I believe this is so because it would be just an extra job for moderators / admins in a way they would need to send warnings and check who is broke rule for first time, and who is do that for second or third time.

As I say before, someone is checking users post history back a few years ago and report users, who are then punished according to the rules of the forum. I think the chances for the return of your account are very small, just look how much support this user is get from his community and there is no reaction to that.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5097792.0
So, what are you suggesting now? Give up the account now or what? I don't think your post is helpful, man.

Perhaps, you are right. Now it's time to say goodbye.

Pointing out the posts I made 2 years ago when I was a "newbies" is pointless. It's just a blackmail

Rule was existing 2 year back also. If you are not caught at that time it does not make you innocent.
Think if you were banned as newbie then you have nothing to show that you have any  "net positive" to the forum.
It is not the blackmail but you can ask for forgiveness.

Is posting relevant articles from external sites with reference URLs against the forum rules? Yes or no?

It is low quality post and forum rules prohibits you to do so. Forum want yours words and discussion and we are not looking for a post that is copied with reference link. If you having nothing to add and discuss on that external site article then you should not post them. (though adding link will not get you banned.)

You can use external site link if it is relevant to your original answer, give some facts to your answer or increase the weight of your answer.

We all get better and smarter by growing old. What I mean here is the version of me today is different from the version I was 2 years ago. By the way, posting relevant articles from external sites was not all I did, is it? I posted some good quality contents too in the past. The reason why I like sharing trending contents (hot topics) from external sites is because I want to see people reactions and what they actually think about it.

Example: BitFinex vs. Tether issues now, it's a hot topic (the most trending) and if you look around you might see almost zero discussions about it. This is the biggest crypto community in the world and how could nobody is talking about the latest news, what's happening in the cryptocurrency ecosystem?

But if nobody likes sharing the latest updates/articles about the cryptocurrency, even if it's not against the forum rules it's totally fine with me. I believe some people are using that as an evidence to destroy my reputation here. Well, from now on it's over. It's better to write only what's in head.

I think the OP had know it would be coming since he suspected that he was banned from either spam or plagiarism which looks like the case. I think cybersoft's posting style where he just gets images as well as the specs and even text without any kind of references made him unknowingly do plagiarism, he might not be aware of his actions though that is why he is asking for what happened actually.
No. I got the notification on the top of my forum profile. I don't think I broke any forum rule in all my actions. I just got burned without any good proper reason. Just Curious OP, Did you put the Yobit Signature ? There is mass banning of the people from Yobit campaign but do not think that ban was permanent.
No. I did not wear the Yobit campaign. It was a mess of course. My case was perma-ban not a 2 weeks ban.

In my opinion, I think you have made some posts that you didn't put a reference just like this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135186.msg50737290#msg50737290

and this one too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135181.msg50736897#msg50736897

You got the image from the known crypto site you should put all the credit to them. or there should be another reason lets wait for others to search your post history.
If he was banned for that, it would be total nonsense. It's just a screenshot, not plagiarism. If it's plagiarism, probably half of forum members should be banned, because most of us have uploaded some screenshots to Bitcointalk. Plagiarims would be when someone upload things like stock photos without legaly obtaining it. How about posting memes without putting credits of creator - is it also plagiarism?
I think OP ban isn't related to that post. As guy above said, maybe it's possible that he was in Yobit sig campaign, one of his posts was reported and deleted and he got 60 days ban.
No. I don't participate in Yobit campaign at all, I was actually wearing the Veil signature campaign.

God, I created all these topics by myself, Why do I have to put an external links, huh? In fact, links from where?

For those that are saying image plagiarism, why is that? I never heard of that on this forum. Did anyone here ever penalize for that? Post something important please, stop posting irrelevant replies.

If those images are going to be considered instances of plagiarism, then that's pretty ridiculous.
We have these, though:

Autoban user: N/A in topic #0 by member #896499
Remove topic: Electrum balance drops to 0 BTC in topic #5136237 by member #2589009

Delete reply: Re: I know who Satoshi Nakamoto is in topic #5118566 by member #896499

Delete reply: Re: I'm little bit confused about Yobit Campaign, I need an advice. in topic #5135007 by member #896499

Sorry, those replies were deleted by the mods not by me. I'm always trying to have a solid, honest, and positive conversations here and I believe that's the exact purpose of the forum.

You got the image from the known crypto site you should put all the credit to them. or there should be another reason lets wait for others to search your post history.

hmm remind me again, who does actually draw their own images before posting them here?  that's for sure not it.

OP, i see you have a habit of not using quotation but rather including the source at the bottom (i see nothing wrong with that) but maybe you forgot to paste the link on some of your posts/topics?
If that's the case then I made a mistake. Sometimes we make mistakes and that makes me a human being after all. If that's the case I apologize for my mistake.

How dare you question it? I'd rather have you hanged for that.
Why is that? I know the meta section is full of politics but I'm always trying to stay away from that because I'm not a politician, I'm more like a "realist" myself.

I have not spent my time to investigate the case of perm-banned OP, because I don't have too much time and enough skills to do this.
However, publishing snapshotted images without permissions from owners of those photos, or sites won't lead to plagiarism, at least in the forum.
Admin raised his opinion in another topic there.
- That's not plagiarism.
 - If there is dox outside of the investigations section, report it with that as the reason.
 - If someone is threatening violence against you, report it with that as the reason.
 - If you have a copyright claim, you have to PM/email me a valid DCMA takedown notice with all required elements, including your address, a declaration under penalty of perjury, etc. Note that I will forward your notice to the affected users.
 - The forum is not under EU jurisdiction.
It is obviously that members should leave source link to sites or places where you get those images for their posts or topics, but without links, they won't be judged as plagiarism in the forum, so far.

I could be wrong, but mostly perm-bans come from plagiarism, so the OP case probably due to plagiarism (content plagiarism, not photo plagiarism).
Well, I don't know myself what exactly is the case at the moment maybe later the "hilarious" will respond with the answer.

I think we're one big family, we're not always happy though but at least we're all gathered here with same passion.

Hi guys,

I was perma-ban today, and I want to know my offense. I don't want to jump off the bridge without knowing the answer.

Username: cybersofts

I normally come here to have fun and share ideas with different people around the world about what we all love which is bitcoin. All I do here is post my articles, make some comments and also share relevant articles from external sites with reference URLs.

Everyone knows me here because I like sharing my thoughts, ideas, and feelings about the cryptocurrency market. Check all posts and see how people are happily commenting because they're having solid conversations. Tell me, what more do you like better than that, huh?

At least I want to know my offense before my final breath. thanks Smiley
