61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum update on: August 29, 2019, 06:36:26 PM
The poor performance of  ethereum in recent times has really caused many people to lose interest in ethereum. The coming update on Ethereum is just a blockchain system update without any hard fork to improve service on it's blockchain network. This would really help bring back the interest of many altcoin holders in ethereum.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to Cash on: August 29, 2019, 12:30:26 PM
It is not a one way thing, there are several ways to convert your altcoin to cash. It depends on many factors such as the kind of altcoin you are having and your community. There are many P2P platforms such as local escrows where it is even possible to exchange your altcoin to cash directly without going through bitcoin.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC hacked from blockchain wallet on: August 29, 2019, 11:41:06 AM
You many not have secured your wallet well. Once the funds was in your wallet and you have the personal private keys to the wallet then it would be very difficult for another person to conduct transaction you wouldn't know about it. It seems the  blockchain wallet has been compromised by someone who know about your private keys.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake satoshi :) on: August 28, 2019, 05:14:32 PM
Every publicity is good whether it came with bad or good news. He needed the attention of the cryptosphere and he had it at the end of the day. Now he is widely known by most people especially those who followed the story with keen interest.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: August 27, 2019, 11:49:25 PM
Crypto investment is mostly on the long term unless in few occasions where you would see people who are in  for the bear market. I think am a bull since I hardly withdraw my funds from crypto unless am really broke and my fiat cannot suffice me.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 27, 2019, 09:01:13 PM
Let's be honest to ourselves, it is only few individuals who venture into crypto for the  fun of the technology but mostly, people are into crypto to make investments and earn profits on their funds. Investment can be short or long term but either ways, profit is what every potential investor wish for.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are ICOs success factors? on: August 27, 2019, 08:52:54 PM
In the last few years, there  have been many ICO projects with various ideas. It seems most of the ideas have been  exhausted and sadly most of the projects have died out. In  recent times, for a project to really succeed the initiative must be unique with very realistic goals for people to believe in the project.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Weird bitcoin art propaganda on: August 27, 2019, 12:06:11 AM
The designs clearly explains the works written beside it.  Interesting works of art, the artiste is really creative and meticulous. How I wish I can make beautiful designs like this which clearly make sense to the ordinary individual since such works of creation is very useful to many individuals who are new to cryptocurrencies.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are banks scared of crypto on: August 26, 2019, 10:44:36 PM
The banks don't want  crypto to replace fiat simply because they understand fiat better crypto hence they can easily exploit their customers. Cryptocurrencies are essentially based on blockchain technology which is very transparent so scams or cheats by banks can be detected with ease.  Some financial institutions are not comfortable with crypto since blockchain technology is still new to many sectors of human life.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Eats the World, or Not on: August 25, 2019, 11:53:19 PM
There are so many wonderful  things that bitcoin can achieve but we need to be realistic in our predictions. Bitcoin just like the popular currencies we have in the world would have to evolve over time in order to make the real impact that most cryptocurrency enthusiasts wish yo see.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Worth $1 Million Seized by Court to Compensate Cyber Attack Victims on: August 25, 2019, 11:37:52 PM
In this case, the judge treated the  bitcoin  as stolen assets that needs to be returned to it's rightful owner. This is a real test case and a good call also. Hope similar judgement can be conferred on hackers who attack the various crypto exchanges when they are identified and arraigned before any court.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im sick and tired of this Bitcoin on: August 24, 2019, 10:17:47 PM
Don't get weary of bitcoin and the exchanges. Trading can be fun and profitable when it is done probably. Sometimes, margin trading is the best way to go. For instance in the past 24 hrs, the price of bitcoin has really been unstable hence any trader who participated in margin trading is more likely to make profit than one who engaged in day trading.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin? on: August 22, 2019, 10:19:33 PM
Unfortunately, the concept on which bitcoin was built is different from the many technological innovations like television sets and other mechanical equipments. Bitcoin as a digital currency would only get better with time just as how popular innovations like PayPal and debit cards began.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we in a silent bull run?? on: August 22, 2019, 09:21:35 PM
The current situation on the crypto market cannot be described as a bullish run. Bitcoin has become so unpredictable and it seems one  cannot easily say we are in a bearish season or not. People are becoming more confused on whether to sell their coins or hold them for s a better returns on their investment.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: August 22, 2019, 08:52:01 PM
I don't think it is usually the fault of new investors to anticipate for high profits on their investments within a short period of time. Investors are sometimes tricked into investing their funds in projects which promises huge returns within a short period of time. The worry sets in when no tangible benefit is accrued on investment made.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is by no Means a Japanese on: August 22, 2019, 08:33:41 PM
This is not enough justification to conclude that Satoshi Nakamoto  was not a Japanese. Remember there are many Japanese who speak and write very good English. The world is a global village  and  sometimes is even difficult to predict the nationality of an individual just  by using the language he/she speaks or writes.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont be fooled by the market on: August 22, 2019, 05:34:33 PM
Many altcoins holdere are converting their holdings to bitcoin due to the high dominance of bitcoin. That is the real deal, people would always be deceived by what they see or hear. The cryptocurrency market is so unpredictable to the extent that if you don't have enough patience you would always lose to your holdings to panic selling.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Sold 2BTC at $3,000 and BTC Bumped to $10,000 on: August 21, 2019, 07:18:43 PM
In life, it is not all the time that one wins. There is no need to regret about selling, just be proud that you did what was necessary for the greater good of your family. Looking back, I think you did the right thing. That is what any good man would do for his family. Sometimes we just have to make some decisions when is necessary and not worry about the future consequences.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: August 21, 2019, 02:59:02 PM
Volatility has always been with the crypto market. For anyone venturing into cryptocurrencies is very aware of the issues that surrounds  the  fluctuations that comes with one's  holdings. Accessing the benefits and possible risks is an individual process as it depends on various factors. From my observation, it depends on how an individual would invest his/her funds.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would this finally be a real Satoshi? on: August 21, 2019, 02:03:09 PM
This cannot be  the real Satoshi, this person claiming to be the real Satoshi is probably  just a programmer who just wanted to relieve some stress on him/her so decided to come up with this site to generate traffic. The traffic was evident as most of us had the error message 'DNS not accessible " as many crypto enthusiasts were following up on the first day of the series.
