Also, for those receiving their units today, I've been informed by Rockminer that the RKBOX cgminer build should work. I will be packaging my own stripped down Windows build and providing a Windows installer package tonight.

Just got the r-box note not r-boxes the rPi the breakout board.  all in a medium box.

So I am short 1 r-box and I paid 33 in postage for a medium flat rate.

I ship a lot and I know mistakes get made. So I figure I need a refund of 109.95 .

EDIT

Now I just went to post office website.
It looks like you sent 2 boxes 1 is lost.

At lease the one that came has the rasp pi in it.

I am going to make an effort to set this up tonight.

Get some flat rate regional a, b, c boxes  Even though the  regional c box costs   more then it should .  It would be just one box my zip is 07731 your  zip is 75035

Yeh, I shipped in separate packages. Every once in a while USPS will split package buddies up and deliver on separate days.

Don't feel bad.  but offering a larger little bit more expensive  regional c is something to think about. (optional offer)

I will stop at the local post office with tracking info on both to

complain.  If you can do the same on your end things speed up some of the time.
At least the one with the rasp pi and 1 r-box was the one that came.  I can set it up tonight and wait for the second one tomorrow.

If your blood pressure is running dangerously low, I suggest the best natural method of getting a quick spike involves speaking over the phone with a USPS representative. After a 30 min to 1hr wait, they will tell you a priority package is only considered late after 5 days. You may get lucky going to your local post office if the package is sitting there, but I wouldn't waste my time calling them unless you are feeling faint and your Systolic is lower than 90. No worries though, if the second package is indeed lost, I'll refund you and deal with them directly on a claim.

Region C's were great for up to 7 Gen1 blades and a backplane, but I haven't had many instances lately where the cost benefit persuades me to use them. They may be perfect for 3-4 unit orders though.

Tonight I will create a coupon code for those that want to provide their own shipping label for Region C's and the like. Please note that I can not guarantee shipment within 24 hours when I am dependent on the customer for labels or carriers other than USPS are used.

Just keep in mind that Rovkminer Pis should have little heatsinks on their chips.  Maybe case design should take this into account, incase spacing is effected.

Can you post a pic? I don't think I got the beefed up RPis in this shipment. Fortunately, I haven't had any issues with reboots with the current gen Pis.

Great work as always.
The look nice!

Here we go! First 10 units shipping tomorrow!

These will be a www.Asicpuppy.com EXCLUSIVE item for at least the first 50! I won't sell these direct.

Enjoy...

Thanks bro! I really enjoy designing and printing this type of stuff.

Packing these up now!

Maybe you can create a case that holds the Pi and the USB hub (that's shipped with rockminer) as 1 unit...

Dude! That is an excellent idea! Are all the Rockminer USB hubs the same ? I have one here with my RK-Box...I can get started on the design and get a couple your way pretty soon.  Cool

You could hit the trifecta with the pi, usb hub, and Rockminer's PSU breakout board in one case. The usb hub is the same as the one that comes with the RK-Box, and the breakout board is similar to Blackarrow's. I'll get one out to you if you want to give it a shot.

I've copied the code from Rockminer's RPi image and built for Windows. With a bronze rated PSU and only 1 unit, I am using 133 watts at 320 clock(120gh/s) and 143 watts at 350(129gh/s). I'm sure a more efficient PSU and multiple units would significantly lower avg power usage and I'm going to let Mr. Philip confirm. Also, I haven't tried lowering the clock freq yet.

Will my old r-Box pi image work with these? I use the original image you had dropboxed. It's been rock solid so I never upgraded?

It depends on the image. It looks like the cgminer build in the rpi image they provided is from July 9th. If you have the same build, you should be good to go.

I've tested at 320 and 350 freq in a very hot room and both frequencies are giving me around 110-124gh/s average over the past 10 minutes. 55 decibels measured from 3 feet away. I've been unable to find an official windows build of Rockminer's custom cgminer, but the code is present in the rpi image. I may pull it down and do my own windows build tonight if I have time.

I'll post a side-by-side with the original r-box shortly.

I may want an r-box . does it use the same software as the 37gh round ones?
I have 6 of them from you.
If it just runs with them I would give one a try.
HOW quiet is it?

I'll post some stats tonight. It may run with the latest cgminer/bfgminer branch, but Rockminer's build will likely be the most stable. Rockminer also provides an RPi image.

get back to us. I have been really lazy about getting a  rasp pi. maybe I will order the rasp pi and the box tonight

I've fired up a couple of them, tested at 350 and 320 clock speed.  They run very, very well!  Quiet and aesthetically pleasing.  Very simple and clean design.  It looks like an oversized external drive.  Makes you think you are opening an apple-ish product when you see the box Smiley

Definitely a great miner for starters and to gift to someone to introduce them to mining.  It fits well on a desk at the office too!  someone should figure out a converter from xbox power adapter to 6 pin and powering up becomes even simpler for newbies and starters.  (I mentioned this to sidehack when we met...)
The Pi's are beefed up, they have heatsinks on 2 chips to help with reducing reboots due to overheating.

I like this unit very much so far!

Those are some impressive clock-rates! The device is very well designed and packaging is beyond my expectations. I honestly wasn't expecting they would come in a larger version of the first gen r-box box. I also really like the idea of using the breakout board with lower end PSUs. Spreading the 12v out over the Mb, CPU, and pcie molex connectors should put many more PSUs into play. You can also power the pi with the breakout board.

If you are purchasing a BTCGarden AMV1X2 miner without an RPi, please note that it will not come with an RPi data cable. Fortunately, it's very easy to make one from the extra daisy chain cable provided.

The RPi data cable and standard data cable are exactly the same, except for the location of 2 pins. To convert a standard data cable to an RPi data cable, remove the bottom right 2 pins, wrap them in electrical tape or heatshrink tubing, and connect to the RPi like so:

To remove the two pins, place a small point under the black tabs which hold the pins in. Lift up as you slide the pins out.

How much for AM Tube plus shipping here in Saudi Arabia and how long it will take.
Willing buy at least 2 to 3

Pm'ed you also

Shipping cost is calculated at checkout. I don't charge any handling fees, so it will be the base USPS price. If you add the items to your cart, you can estimate shipping before going through the checkout process. Also, free bitmain jumper switch through Friday for each unit, so you'll end up getting three if you order 3 units.

They are a pretty good price.  Is this with shipping? And does this have the controller?
I am running 2 of these as I type overclocked to freq 280 I get around 1700gh for the 2.
I pull about 1800 watts

Shipping calculated at checkout and controller is optional. 1 controller will handle up to 8 tubes.

I bought my second set of Am v2 and I am having no luck with it hashing past 310gh. I have tried taking all wires off and reconnecting and no luck. I also am not able to get it noticed by the rasp Pi as a 3rd and 4th blade as it says it can be. I was not shipped a rasp Pi cable with this miner also so that I can run it with a 2nd rasp instead of the same. I'm hoping that I can get this resolved quickly as I am losing much mining time and the prices just dropped dramatically the day after I bought them. Please PM me and help me out.

Check your email, I sent some troubleshooting tips and a series of pictures detailing how to convert a daisy chain cable to a data cable. I'll post pics on the forum tonight for others that may have purchased a unit without an RPi but don't have a data cable.
