Can everyone in here please fill out the Poloniex coin request form for adding UBQ. They need to see significant interest if they are going to add to their exchange. Since polo is the #1 alt exchange, it would really help with spreading awareness and interest.
Thank you
Pagely Reminder.

Flux Difficulty Algorithm review and network recapThe version v1.5.10 hard fork activated on block 8000 with no issues. Thank you to pools, miners and users who upgraded in a timely manner. Below we can see the current difficulty curve so far and we can see 3 distinct sections. The first section represents the default Digibyte Digishield algorithm which did not fare well at all on a large network. The second section represents the Digibyte Digishield algorithm with modified parameters which was an improvement but still not good enough. Upon further inspection we also found that Digibyte Digishield was not working properly with Zcash either with very high difficulty fluctuations. With the Flux Difficulty Algorithm™ we went back to the drawing board and designed a new solution. The Flux Difficulty Algorithm is brand new code and is one of the innovations of the Ubiq network. Prior to Ubiq there have been other Ethereum forks which were attacked as they did not have an adequate difficulty algorithm which was able to dynamically adjust to hash rate. Below is the current snapshot of the network. In the screenshot we can see that blocks are moving smoothly with a block time of 88.15 seconds and hash rate of 46.8 GH/s averaged out over the last 1000 blocks. There are currently 70 peers seen on the network in various geolocations around the world. Bittrex market opening Wednesday, February 8th at 12pm PSTUbiq balances have been populated and trading will commence on Bittrex on Wednesday, February 8th at 12pm PST. The exchange wallet will be open prior with advanced notice so that you may deposit or withdraw Ubiq. We will start off with 80 confirmations for deposits for security reasons as Ubiq is a new network. Feel free to submit Ubiq as a candidate for listing on your favorite exchanges. Thank you for your support. Great news! This project is moving along swimmingly

Adjustments to Difficulty calculation - Hard fork requiredWe have been monitoring the Ubiq network since launch and have found that the default Digibyte Digishield settings are overly sensitive to the Dagger Hashimoto algorithm so block times are not as consistent as we would like them long term. This issue did not show up in our earlier Testnet testing as this issue does not show up for smaller hash rates. Since we are a new network, we felt it was right to make the necessary changes to address this issue early on. The network is working fine but we can do better. We will be putting out a new release in a few hours which implements the changes. The technical details are that we will increase the number of past blocks that we will sample for calculations (up from 30 minutes) and we will decrease the % adjustment. This will be a hard fork change but there will be adequate time to upgrade (around 24 hours) from when the wallets are released. We have been testing this for a few days in our local Testnet and the results look good. We do not anticipate any issues and we are in close conversation with our pool operators. If you are a pool operation not in our Ubiq Slack, please join at http://slack.ubiqsmart.comThank you for your support and understanding. Update to Bittrex listingBittrex are finalizing their integration work for Ubiq. They will be ready to list Ubiq after the hard fork has switched over. We will announce a day before when the Bittrex market will open. Thank you for your patience. Great decision. This will benefit the long term project.

You need to install gubiq 1.5.8, Jyap posted the link on page 16. Once you get that up and running you need to import your privatekey that was given to you. If you need help just ask in this thread no gui wallet? and how import privkey? No GUI wallet yet. What OS are you running? Have you installed gubiq 1.5.8?
