1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your real definition of a “win” in gambling? on: Today at 08:27:42 PM
Being a responsible gambler is the one in my opinion.

When someone is gambling for long time and manages to do it while not losing any money that can hurt their financial status should be called as successful gambling. Winning bet is not really in our hand so winning bet should not be the criterion to fix the successful ones while there are people who keep themselves under control all the time even when the thing is so addictive.

2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: Today at 06:37:00 PM
Samson is the man of the match but IMO, it should be Overton for his extraordinary bowling, 4 wickets and 18 runs in the modern-day IPL is no joke but cricket has always been a batter's game. Smiley

Still their bowling needs some tweaks, today they gave right overs to the right bowlers instead of forcing them to play out of their zone which could also be the reason for the turnaround?
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: Today at 05:45:04 PM
After three terrible loss, finally CSK bowlers got their rhytm but Khaleel their leading bowler is having an off day.

What a catch by Sarfraz, that might be one of the best in this season so far, and overall their bowling and fielding imporved. But still Tristian stubbs keeping the chase alive.

Nail biting match again, 320 needed from 12 balls.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: Today at 03:58:48 PM
15 off 17 with 88 SR when your partner is batting with almost 250 SR  snd every competitor of yours doing the same in the tournament.

Rutu won't gain any brownie points for this anchor role and that too in powerplay when field is restricted.

Edit

Now he's gone, too bad for Delhi and advantage chennai.

Rutu's batting is affected by the captaincy role, so IMO it's better to give the responsibility to Sanju then rutu can also joins the part.

After losing the captain they just took the game without losing wickets anymore till the end. Cheta scored his ton as well which he was due since WC and took the total to 212 just for the loss of 2 wickets. But it looks like they should have added 20 more runs to get an edge. DC is capable of chasing it back.

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 10, 2026, 07:35:38 PM
RR won the chase pretty comfortably, thanks to Suryavanshi and the Dhruv Jurel, who just carried the game till the end. So they are the one who remain unbeatable after the royal clash.

Just a thought came to me, RR starts every season like this, they will be winning 7 out of the first 8 games then there is their jinx. They are terrible at the back end of the season. I hope their curse is not there anymore. Cheesy

As of now, it looks like they are in contention to lift the trophy this year, along with RCB.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 10, 2026, 06:11:08 PM
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is just getting better match after match and to be honest the way he plays even the legends may not have such kind of ability. I mean, scoring at a 300 strike rate is simply unreal.

RR should have no issues in winning this game too, just about run a ball is needed to win this match with 6 wickets in hand. But RCB posted a very good total after how terrible they started their innings, Rajat Patidar is playing back-to-back responsible knocks.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 10, 2026, 03:37:08 PM
Electric crowd! This is what makes game alive. Archer may go expensive often, but chances he creates are immense and it's what counts. Plus, the way RCB is going and the firepower they have got, we may finally see 300 score today.
Archer started with a bang and even if he went for runs he created the chance with Virat too. Modern-day captains are not attacking as they used to be in the past. I guess Virat has a weakness when someone bowls outside off so there should be a first slip when he starts his innings.

Edit: Bisnoi got him, clean bowled... Even 200 chase is gonna be pretty interesting in my opinion.

With many stupid cases like this, those of us who still use social media should be more aware and wise in our behavior because it doesn't matter if we want to pursue popularity on social media and benefit from it but still use our common sense so that not only because of momentary emotions, stupid actions are carried out.

The problem is those stupid and weird acts makes them famous and they are making thousands or even in millions by doing that so even if they are not such a weirdo they just pretend to become one just for the sake of money because we all know making money is important to survive, with developing country and loss of jobs all over the world they are forced to do such in my opinion.

People, rather the viewers are enabling them so the equal blames goes on who likes, comment and share such contents.

If LSG mess this up, they don't deserve going to the playoffs. Their bowlers literally did all the hard work and put them way on top while their batsmen are making it seem like a 220+ target or something. Smh! Pant keeps performing like crap with the bat.
They won, but still I wouldn't say they deserve in play-offs, and they aren't going to.

By the way, this was most pathetic crowd i have ever seen. Felt like some local league, despite match absolutely going to wire (which was not expected at all).

...and well done to Mukul — I need that kind of self-belief, where do you get it from?
Another thriller, another exciting end of the game. Mukul Choudhry has done amazing stuff in the last 9 balls with 4 sixes and 1 four. This brings an exciting win for LSG after losing early wickets, but these new generation players keep hitting and stealing wins. What an end to the game at Kolkata! 54 runs in the last 4 overs—good fight back. I was sure they were going to lose when they had 128 for 7, but now it's not easy for any team to have wins.

Fighters are coming and giving their impact at this big stage in front of thousands of fans who are having high level of entertainment. Second win for LSG, while KKR now has 3 losses out of 4 games. This is going to be below for them tomorrow another exciting game between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Banglore at Guwahati.

We are still in the early days of IPL but the excitement level due to the nail biters one after another shows the quality of IPL over any other leage in this world. And what an amazing finish from choudary, these young and unknown talents are not asking for the chances but they are breaking the doors and making a way for them.

Tomorrow is going to be even interesting, RR is coming after trashing MI and RCB also coming after a win, they are both solid with their bat but RR got an endge with slightly better bowling unit unless josh hazelwood is playing the next one for RCB.

Modi has got the experience but is he addressing the real problems ? May be and may be not.
But if there's someone who needs to be elected as the next PM who will it be ?
Congress is not fit for it and there's no candidate that matches the energy of Raghav Chadha.
He might still be having a hidden agenda but right now, nobody else is doing something that he is.
Nah, I doubt that he even got like 5% face value of what Modi got. I don't see anyone making it as next one other than Modi, but the thing is even the BJP or the RSS doesn't want him to continue so they might go with someone on their own.

I saw a video where the revised price on airport is live now. Can anyone confirm it?

I saw that too, it looks like Digvesh touched the boundary rope a little but they didn't even take another angle before giving the decision. Even with all the technology we got still human arrors are happening that can be completely avoided in these cases.

Cam Green is scoring at less than 100 strike rate at the death overs is a crime. Roll Eyes

About the last match blunder, Kuldeep is capable of taking singles with no issues, he is a tailender but he did better in test matches on occasions, so he is perfectly capable of scoring that one run in my opinion, even if he didn't that went for a super over.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 08, 2026, 07:33:22 PM
Absolute entertainment! This was the most I have seen Miller in form. Prasidh shouldn't have been given last over, he's mediocre at best, it's just that he sometimes gets wickets, all I see him is bowling bouncers which sometimes yield in wickets.

After six, whatever that tv is called said, 'Ab dilli dur nhi' — I don't know in what context it was said but this is competitive squad of DC, may be they actually can end their trophy drought.

Miller should have taken that single on penultimate delivery, you don't put off your win like that, that was absolutely lapse in judgement.

It is the most exciting match of this season so far, the match went like a seesaw for every over in the end and GT won by just 1 run is an absolute thriller. Miller is gonna regret for saying no to that single, it could have taken the result to draw or win with that but he gave DC a chance there with that move.

But Miller is also the one took the game that looked out of reach for DC at one point, so...! Smiley

Edit: MI won the toss and bowling, there's an edge for MI now.
Pumped up for vaibhav suryavanshi vs Bumrah. Teen batting prodigy vs GOAT.

Yeah, mumbai will have an edge because of rain possibility and they'll be aware of when to change gear according to DLS, which i still fail to understand how it works in general.

Edit

Bad first 3 overs

14 year kid won against the best bowler in the world right now, he hit him for 6 in the very first ball and did like it was nothing at all.

His bat swing is soo good to watch to be honest, and if it's not for Lord then I doubt he would have lost the wicket, Lord wins with his golden arm by somehow. Cheesy

And Jaiswal is the aggressor again in this match, he is also a kid but compared to Surya Vanshi, he kind of lost the limelight for a while now.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 07, 2026, 04:26:48 PM
RR vs MI tomorrow and I was surprised to see 2.4 odds for RR, so I took it. I personally find RR to be strong team this season, and this looked steal. Let's see how it goes.

Fuck me, I am immensely annoyed. I mean, this should have been a good match in itself and I thought I should be making money on this too since despite RR being a strong team out of two, it was given a good odds but rain playing a spoilsport.
Just wait, the match isn't over yet and it looks like there is 11 over match as per the latest report but toos is yet to happen. I would bet my money on RR too because they got even better advantage with lesser overs, they got like Suryavanshi, Jaiswal who are all in terrifc form at the moment.

Edit: Toss is about to happen.

Edit: MI won the toss and bowling, there's an edge for MI now.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 07, 2026, 01:27:43 PM
It's MI vs RR today.

I read that Kungfu Pandya is back but we may have to wait for a bit more to find that out.

Edit: Looks like the broadcast started with really a bad news, it looks like raining and the covers are on for now hope this match don't get washed away too like the yesterday match. Roll Eyes

16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can data models really beat sportsbook odds? on: April 07, 2026, 12:29:40 PM
Data models? Like an analyst who claims that they can find the value bets?

It is possible that they can find bets that are having misplaced odds but it is not very common and doesn't happen very often. Also if you managed to find them most likely the sportsbook can always void the bets if there is huge difference in the actual and reported odds.

There is no way to beat the system, it is solid though.
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Payment on non-kyc platforms like RoboSats & HodlHodl on: April 06, 2026, 09:03:07 PM

1. Services like Wise are kyc; is it indeed true that the bank transfers used for buying on platforms like RoboSats, HodlHodl and Bisq do not show any connection with their purpose of buying btc?
2. Even if so, can Wise in any other way detect/suspect the purpose of the transfers? I read some anecdotes of people whose accounts got banned because Wise doesn't allow transfers for anything crypto related.
3. I'd love to hear about experiences with using Wise for this - did you like it? As far as I've been able to figure out the fees - which of course add up to the fees from the seller - seem reasonable.

Better take other options because it is clearly mentioned "You can't use your Wise account to buy, sell, or trade cryptocurrencies. And if you does that your account will be closed.

Read here: Understanding Wise's position on cryptocurrency

But, how will they find that you used to buy and sell when the person didn't leave any note that it is related to crypto trade? Only God knows. Cheesy
18  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: How can Nigeria convert population growth into productivity growth? ‎ on: April 06, 2026, 07:31:51 PM

Since India is mentioned, I would like to add my opinion too. You Said China and India, yes they are populated countries, but both took different path to be where they are now. Let's say China used their workforce into build the superpower of manufacturing so they can create anything and sell it to the world, which made them more revenue but India is different, it created graduates and elites in education and transported them to other countries, which sure brought revenue to the government as well but not entirely the same.

So Nigeria can do that but need to find what they are going to focus which is going to take a lot of years though.
19  Local / India / Re: I am looking for a team to work with me to drive the growth and development on: April 06, 2026, 03:06:40 PM
I doubt you will find anyone from here since we already have very less active members which is in single digit, you can better post this on LinkedIn or somewhere that is actually supposed to be used for job hunting.

And you said you are not looking for someone who wants a fixed salary but also you said this "fixed monthly salary", so you might wanna clear this up.

I knew someone would say this. Until someone don't use his sweaty hands to itch his butt and then use the same hand to serve panipuri, people don't get the kick.
This is what I have heard from people online but I don't believe them. I know some panipuri vendors who maintain a really good hygiene and still have pretty good taste.
So this is just a myth that they need to use their sweaty hands or something. Whether it be tasty or not but hygiene should be mandatory from my perspective.

Even panipuri comes at different rate, there is a bhaiya who sells for 20 or 25 rupees per plate and holding a basket or on a stool or some kind of stand and there is no stall or kart here, it is most unhygenic and should avoid in my opinion. And there is like comes from stall with 35 or 40 rupees per plate where we can expect minimum hygiene and then there is from a restaurant like 120 for 4 piece which is better but I never felt it is good as the one from stall.
