Happy to announce http://altoutlet.com/hvc now accepts Heavycoin!

Just over 8k products available, including some community designed shirts, various consumer gadgets and electronics..

And free international shipping on all orders... Also a percentage of all sales goes to a charity of your choice, selectable on checkout.

Are we the first merchant to accept Heavycoin, perhaps? Smiley Can we claim one of the merchant bounties

Any questions/queries, let me know, feedback is always appreciated Smiley

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!! HVC will not go to the moon, it will just start on the Moon and fly from there to other galaxy!!!! I't quite unbelievable that some merchant with physical goods believes in HVC so much just couple of weeks after launch of the coin. BTW, the prices in that Outlet are recalculated automatically based on daily exchange rate HVC/BTC/USD?

For anyone new to this thread.... Trolls like r0ach are here only here with a profit motive.

One, to promote their crap-coins (sloth, which he probably is a "bag-holder" of) and two,  to attempt to temporarily lower price of this real innovative coin so he could buy for slightly cheaper because he hesitated when it was on sale.

Sorry r0ach troll, nobody is buying your crap coin. It's still early for HVC though, grab some now before you are kicking yourself later and back in here trying the same old scam Tongue

One nice post regarding SlothCoin, apparently just another joke-coin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512903.msg5915087#msg5915087

I am not waiting till HVC hits 1USD. I decided not to sell it at all. I'm waiting till some merchants start accepting it and I buy some stuff with that, like a new car, or bricks for my new house hahahaa. :-)  I WILL HOLD STROOONGER!!! Smiley

Sorry.. but from all this writings.. I cannot find THE LINK of your pool !??

It's on the first page of this thread among the list of all available pools. It is http://Heavycoinpool.com and I strongly recommend it, mining since beginning on it without any issues, payouts are regular.

I really think this coin can be a litecoin contender, asic resistant, mutli pool resistant, cheaper power bill to mine, cards run much cooler, block reward voting, this coin could be right up there in the top 10 on coinmarketcap. It will certainly pick up a good portion of the litecoin hashrate when asic miners are more widely distributed in just a matter of months. Long term value i'm predicting $3-$15, depending on how many people learn of how awesome it is over the coming weeks.

I share exactly the same idea, there is no other way for this coin just to succeed.

Well, you will need couple of more millions of HVC to cover your hardware investments. Smiley Let me make rough calculation how much you probably invested in your spaceship warp engine you sit on. Your HVC hashrate currently cca 2200 Mh on HVC pools. This equals to cca  250 x Radeon 280x which at price cca 350 USD per GPU make in total 87.500 USD. If I include other parts like motherboards, CPUs, RAM's, HDDs, PSUs and other pieces, it could be alltogether something over 100.000 USD which is cca 180 BTC.  Current HVC price is 0.000033 BTC. In order to reach 180BTC you will need cca 5.5 millions of HVC.

I hope you are not gonna dump that all at once.  Grin
I'm Mine 30K ltc from $1.8 and  sell all at $42 . Now i continue holding HVC.

Hell yeah, so my calculation was almost correct. You earned over 1 million USD on selling LTC which you mined on low diff and then you purchased your own intergalactic battle cruiser. Smiley  This is exactly my plan...mine....hoooold for a long time...then buy some bigger toy (along with a nice house. Smiley

Can someone please explain me why miners are hopping like stupid from one pool to another? Heavycoinpool.com was mining smoothly last two days with over 2000Mh/s and found 41 blocks in last 24 hours, they even donated miners with an extra bounty 175 HVC per block. When I calculated I got even better paid then on 1Gh. Well, it's not so easy to compare just by taking calculator, but roughly I can say I haven't earned less then on 1Gh in average. Now when the bounty is over, everybody switching somewhere else. I don't really get it, what's the problem with you guys! Is it just greed and attempt to maybe earn more on other pool?

I have big temptation to jump into mining GreeceCoin for a while today but I fear the Scrypt hellish heat. Smiley I think I will resist today and stay with good cold HVC.  I start disliking scrypt coins quite a lot.  Wink

i try to mine this coin but all rejected 100% on 280x ..what i am doing wrong..all other coins work nomrlany ..i used that cgminer for heavy and this is bat

cgminer.exe --heavy -o stratum+tcp://pool1.heavycoin.zhpool.com:20001 -u **** -p ***  --vectors 1 -I 8  -w 256  --gpu-powertune 20

This is what works great for me

1. Try http://Heavycoinpool.com (currently rewarding 900 HVC per block unlike other pools where default reward is 725 HVC)
2. Download: https://heavycoinpool.com/downloads/cgminer-3-7-3-heavycoin-v4.zip
3. Put this in your BAT:

del *.bin
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe --heavy --vote 100 --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://stratum01.heavycoinpool.com:5333 -u YourWorkerName -p YourPass -I 8 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 750 --gpu-fan 65 -w 256

You should get 9Mh/s speed. In case CGMiner would crash, try to decrease the --gpu-engine by 5Mh and see what works for you. I'm currently running on 1206, will see how long will CGMiner last before crashing. But 1200 was running fine for 24 hours.

how many hardware error with this settings?

I think zero errors as far as I can see, I hope it's this HW indicator:

~~ ANNOUNCING HeavycoinPool.com BLOCK BOUNTY ~~

We have allocated 10,000 HVC for our next block finders!

EACH and EVERY of our next 66 blocks found will pay out 150 HVC more to miners
than what the network gives.

So, right now at 750 per block - Blocks @ HeavycoinPool will pay out 900!

We're trying to raise the pool hashrate to at least 1GH/sec.

Please join!

Our latest block found is #8925.
The bounty starts from THE SECOND BLOCK after block 8952!
(just to confirm our MPOS changes are correct)

For a quick access, here's the latest cgminer with our RUN_MINER.bat file in it:
https://heavycoinpool.com/downloads/cgminer-3-7-3-heavycoin-v4.zip

and

Latest cuda miner with RUN_MINER.bat file in it as well:
https://heavycoinpool.com/downloads/cudaminer-heavycoinpool.zip

Only 14 blocks out of 66 for increased 900 HVC reward have been mined by http:/Heavycoinpool.com so far.

Join and help to crack more blocks and get extra payout. There are still cca 52 x 900 HVC shiny golden blocks left for anybody!

I simply don't get this 8.5m 280x results. I've downloaded the latest cgminer, tried every setting I've found here and can't get it above 7.6m. w7 x64, catalyst 14.1, gpu/mem 1055/6000, --vectors 1 -I 8 -w 256 --gpu-powertune 20 --no-submit-stale => 7580

Try increasing your engine speed, add -X 105 and enjoy !

Ask for details at #HeavyCoinPool@freenode, very helpfull lads there

https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/HeavyCoinPool

I think you need to downgrade to Catalyst 13.2. On my 280x I get now 9Mh/s with this config -I 8 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1203 (280x becoming unstable between 1190 - 1220, need to test different speeds).

Update!!. http://Heavycoinpool.com boosted to 870 Mh/s in few minutes after offering increasing block reward from 725 to 900 HVC. Speed constantly increasing! Reward will be paid equally to all miners for next 66 blocks. So in total 10.000 HVC will be donated to all who support this pool. This is the only and last chance to earn 20% more HVC before the difficulty goes to moon and new block reward decreases to ~575 in 1.7 days

Aaaah hold me before I collapse. Reached 1Gh/s on Heavycoinpool.com and still speeding. What's thaaat. This is gonna be a lovely 900HVC block-parade soon Shocked

Well I used CUDA last 2 days and ran at speed cca 850 kh/s but it completely disabled my ability to work with Windows
If your card doesn't support messing with things like clock speed using e.g. Nvidia's control panel, give Battle Encoder Shirase a shot - while it will only limit the CPU portions of the miner it limits the GPU a bit as well:

Thanks I will try. Here is answer from 1Gh regarding integrated Nvidia's and CGMiner:

Question to 1Gh: Is new CGMiner compatible with integrated Nvidia NVS 5400M? I tried to mine but CGMiner shows 850Kh/s, pool shows 30Kh/s. Diff 0/0.
Answer from 1Gh: It does not work correctly for low hashrates yet, filtering valid low-difficulty shares. We will fix that.

If you're using an nvidia card, I'd suggest trying the cuda miner as well.

Well I used CUDA last 2 days and ran at speed cca 850 kh/s but it completely disabled my ability to work with Windows as the animation of Windows gets incredibly slow. It's my working laptop, you know. Smiley And there is no such possibility in CudaMiner to decrease intensity or something whereas in CGMiner I can decrease intensity so that my desktop reacts faster.
