energycoin is getting an insane amount of votes per hour I doubt mintpal even cares enough at this point to do away with bots
We have been focusing on development and making contacts in the industry recently. XSI can always benefit from increased volume and exposure. The new features/partnerships should demonstrate our commitment to this coin. A solid foundation is being built that will propel the coin and community forward. The voting system on MP now utilizes a captcha that has resolved most of the voting issues, so it seems like a democratic process. If the community keeps voting, we would get added to Mintpal in 2 weeks https://www.mintpal.com/voting

No FUD here - any red flags I saw have been addressed. There are no aspects of the coin that would lead me to investing in it (no real utility/etc) but the same could be said for almost any other altcoin - it's essentially a 100% spec market. I will say that if MintPal remains the big goal here the VNC voting should probably stop - dozens of accounts with minimal trade activity voting from the same server clusters and racking up 500+ votes a day will ensure you end up like "Hyper" on the voting list. Now that they have added the CAPTCHA the bot-voting should slow down and people will grow tired of continuing to vote on the VNC when they have to keep solving the CAPTCHA. Even if you can vote 3 times/minute and you have 30 VNCs set up that's still 10 minutes of work every hour for 30 measly votes. You would be much better off growing the community, marketing the coin, getting actual people that are interested to not only vote but to also purchase the coin. Dummy MintPal accounts running on a VNC might get you listed sooner but they won't be buying any coins! You need buyers first - not more votes.
I gave a very clear explanation to your 1st inquiry, and people have pasted my comments pertaining to Mintpal. We are actively trying to persuade people to vote on Bter over Mintpal. No idea why this has become the theme of the thread. Only the 5 new people that started frequenting the thread in the last 24 hours seem intent on focusing their efforts on Mintpal. Once again, not part of the big picture of this coin. A few minutes of reading and you would have quickly found what happened with the switch to PoS, and that we are not pushing to get onto Mintpal.

Coin which almost no one sells, it's a bad coin.
This clearly and child. While there is a large volume, as it makes no sense to say either.
I remember this username from the promotion. This is one of the scammers that claimed XSI for voting on mintpal but had MULTIPLE accounts. This is why we were up so high and dropped. Like I said the community is smart enough to see what is happening. So I will just use my trusty ignore button :-) Yes, I talked to vote before. But I do not blame that cleaned voice. No trading on the exchange, it does not make sense! So you are wrong It's amazing that after trying to scam us on a promotion, that you come in here and start talking bad about the coin. Stop posting FUD in here. Go find a coin, community, and developer that you do like. Nobody is forcing you to invest in XSI.

But your coin tried to support it. We are all waiting to get on MINTPAL
each coin wants to be on mintpal - it is always + price Mintpal has increased security measures with their voting protocol. I would expect this would reflect in a more accurate vote total. They have stripped votes on two other occasions. Each time the price and volume of XSI dropped afterwards. If your only posts in this thread pertain to our standing on the vote list, then you obviously just want to push to Mintpal and sell your coins quickly. We are not a pump n dump coin, and if history is any indication, they will likely find another reason to drop us down their list. Stop attaching the value of our coin to our standing on the voting list, this has proven to be a bad idea in the past.

Can anybody explain why the first block contained 4,167,410 coins? There are currently only 7,339,328 coins total. Beyond that, those premined coins also received PoS interest.
Was there an IPO or something? There is no info in the original post? We're talking about a coin that claims "no pre-mine" in the title but 60% of all of the PoW coins in existence were mined in the first block so we're missing some info here.
Also I agree the CAPTCHA at MintPal was a huge plus to kill the automated bot voting. However, you guys must still be voting from VNC machines because you were on MintPal's list of coins abusing the voting system in the past 24 hours (along with other pieces of crap like Aiden/etc but also a couple different coins that I have been voting on myself). Guessing all coins on the list will be penalized again soon since they did they same thing last time within a couple days of releasing the list.
Anyway...can somebody explain this first block? Who got those coins? Why were they passed around over and over in a suspicious manner? Clearly nobody would be supporting this thing if they all went to the dev so there must just be some missing info somewhere.
You do not seem to follow the history of coins. Was produced by substituting XSS XSI. Read here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=572508.200 This last topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=490529.0Thanks. You are right I haven't followed it - just came here and there was no info on that from what I could see. I'll check into it. Typically the dev ends up with a nice chunk of free coins on these swapout deals but maybe that wasn't the case here. The transition from Pow to Pos was 100% transparent. There are probably 10-15 pages in this thread pertaining to the switch. At the time, we were listed on Bittrex, Allcoin, Poloniex, and CryptoALTexX. The owners of these 4 exchanges gave us the number of coins in their XSS wallet at the time, and we sent that exact number to them. The owners of these exchanges can corroborate that story. I also don't recall a single individual posting in the thread that they had not received their coins during the switch on the aforementioned exchanges. Absolutely no coins were received by the development team. That may be the exception in crypto now, but we wanted to prove our dedication to the community and project. We are in this for the long run, not just a quick pump n dump coin, which sadly has become all too common.

Currently mintpal best market. There is no sense to argue. All the efforts necessary to add a coin there. And then on the other exchanges. Continue to vote and do not stop)
With captcha votes they have now no excuses to remove "suspicious" votes. Let's see how it goes ... The captcha seems like a smart idea. Hopefully that will ensure an accurate total on their exchange. We would love to be included on Mintpal, Bter, or any other exchange. Just want to make sure we are not constantly ascending and then descending.

...The trading volume on Bittrex is comparable to Mintpal now, so getting onto MP isn't a huge step up like it was 1-2 months ago...
Bter trade volume 24h ~800 BTC, Mintpal ~3500 My quote says Bittrex, but you quoted Bter's volume instead. The top 4 coins on Bittrex had about 900 btc of volume last 24 hours. The point I was making is that there isn't a huge difference between Bittrex and Mintpal anymore. The gap has been closed. Getting listed on Mintpal isn't the only way to be a successful coin. Everyone is welcome to vote wherever they like. My personal preference would Bter. It has become a race to the top of the Mintpal vote list, and most of the coins get added and dumped immediately. The top coin from 2-3 weeks ago have volume below 1btc now. There is more than enough volume on the exchanges we are currently listed on. Would love to be on more exchanges, but that is not the limiting factor.

Neite did a little trading on Bter today and got us 9 up-votes. Would be easy to climb the list on their exchange if our community did some trading and lodged some votes for us https://bter.com/votingI traded .1 btc back and forth on vtc once and ltc once and had enough points for 9 votes. Pretty easy to accumulate them. I would much prefer people vote for XSI on Bter. Getting added to their exchange would be great. Mintpal has twice removed lots of very legitimate votes imo. Each time that we moved up the list we got dropped down, and it hurt the coin. Please vote on Bter instead of Mintpal. We are already on Bittrex and Poloniex. The trading volume on Bittrex is comparable to Mintpal now, so getting onto MP isn't a huge step up like it was 1-2 months ago.
