1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 13, 2014, 08:10:57 PM
Sweet ... please offer a python based interface for your third party plug-ins. Either direct or REST is fine.

We plan to have a general interface for the language of your choice, it may even be REST based.
The first release however will not support it yet. At the moment we are focused on making leonardo as shiny as it can get Smiley.
Additional features like plugin support will be added later.
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 13, 2014, 01:53:28 PM
And a few questions around plug-ins ...
are new algorithms also called plug-ins?
Do plan to implement more than the two you already have?

definitively. There will be more strategies.

If you have an idea for one, let us know and we will take a look at it.
We are also considering to support third-parties to write their own strategies in the future.
1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 13, 2014, 07:19:43 AM
@ LeonArdo This looks very interesting, the interface is similar to what you find in a brokers office, it's about time we had one too.

If you do a plugin for Bitstamp too I'm in.
Cryptsy is shit, orders don't get filled half the time at the right time and massive lag issues, double spends = accounts go into negative balance how will the bot work with those problems?

Bitstamp is on the list Smiley
We also know what a pain cryptsy can be. The idea is to take care of that in the background.
When you place/alter an order, the software will take care of it. You'll just be notified when the order was placed.
Have a look at the notification bar in the video to get an idea.

What other markets would you like, guys?
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 13, 2014, 07:13:24 AM
Is it closed source or open? I'm not sure I would trust something with my trading API keys unless I could view the source code first to make sure there isn't anything fishy going on.

It's closed source. But you can create an extra set of keys just for leonArdo and furthermore even if we had both your API keys (which we never will, only a hashed version of one of them) we couldn't withdraw anything from your account anyway (see peace of mind section in first post).

Also why don't you sell the software with a USB ignition key, like many professional audio recording software companies do they also use Internet Verification that stops people passing on a copy of their program. that may stop the scam accusations.

We also thought of using something like a USB Ignition Key (one of us also has some audio background Smiley
But for now we will stick with the key thing. It's what others used (here in the forum) and we already altered it so that you even have to send us less info.
Just because we wouldn't give our full key anyone either!
We are not a company (yet Smiley, so our resources are limited and it seemed like the best way (for now).
We really appreciate your suggestions and hope you understand our decision.
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 12, 2014, 10:58:04 PM
Welcome tifozi, ifxist and Nolii and thank you for your bids.
All the bids have been added to the auction Smiley
1966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 12, 2014, 05:50:39 PM
Hi, is this the complete API reference page? : https://btc-e.com/api/documentation
So which one is better as an Automatic Trading Platform? How is this one beating the competitions?

We developed leonardo because there simply wasn't a tool available with which we were happy with.
leonardo is not just a bot. It is a whole trading frontend. It can be run autonomously but can also be used as a nice intuitive day trading tool.
Just have a look at the video to see it in action. You can drag and drop orders, view the order history augmented onto the price chart....
And this is just the beginning, so have a look at the video and decide for yourself Smiley http://youtu.be/jjLbJuUsp0A

If you want additional features that leonardo doesn't have yet: Let us know and we will look into it Wink.
1967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Interactive day-trading/algo-trading software on: March 12, 2014, 10:05:16 AM
Hey guys, as we don't know if you avoid visiting the altcoin section Wink,
we kindly wanted to show you something that might be of interest to those
of you that (algo) day trade and are tired of lagging websites:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=506317.0

We are three guys who started mining more than a year ago and began trading
shortly after but got annoyed of using the exchange websites to do it.
The software we developed is not just a bot. It can trade autonomously but,
is also meant to make it easier to place or alter orders manually.

Please let us know what you think or what other features you might like. We
are happy to consider all requests. Just reply here or in the thread above.

We know there have been a lot scams (especially lately) so we hope we addressed all
concerns in the "Peace of mind" section in the OP. Furthermore, we also
offer the software in a ready to run Virtualbox image to make everything
as safe as possible.

If you have any wishes or recommendations let us know.
1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 12, 2014, 07:23:28 AM

To best understand what we have built I urge to watch our introduction video:

http://youtu.be/jjLbJuUsp0A

Adapt orders in a fully interactive graph by clicking and dragging on them. Click and drag statistic windows and desired effective margins. Hover over order icons to immediately visualise gains made by our custom made bots...

Please take a look and let us know what you think!

1976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 10, 2014, 06:52:44 AM
Note that this has been updated to reflect our new security mechanism to give you even more peace of mind

We added the following to our first post in an effort to gain your trust Smiley Please have a read and as always if you have any questions we are ready and waiting to assist you!

Peace of mind

We love bitcoin and want it to succeed. With the recent hacks, scams and
downright incompetence we have all witnessed in the last few weeks we
wanted to talk to you about how we hope to gain your trust. First of all we are
in the process of setting up an escrow service so that when the time comes
for payment you will not have to directly pay us and can be 100% sure that
when you do hand over your BTC that you will receive leonArdo.

In order to ensure that your copy of leonArdo is exclusively linked to
your BTC-e account you will only have to provide us with the SHA-256 hash of
one of the two API keys that leonArdo needs to connect to the BTC-e exchange.
With just the hash there is nothing that we can do on your account.
Furthermore, even if someone had both API keys they could not do anything
except trade on your account as withdrawal from a BTC-e account is only
possible if you log on to the website with your username and password -
both of which we will NEVER ask for.

Please take a few minutes to watch the video above. This should
demonstrate that we have built a real product here. A lot of work has gone
into it and we are sure that if you try it out you will love it as much as
we do!
1977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 09, 2014, 07:56:33 PM
Hey everyone. Although the major developmental work is done, there is always room for improvement. Check out the latest feature we just added. Before the bins in the graph could either be turned on or off (see video in our first post), but now there is a third option - grayed out! This allows you to, in parallel, easily see the buys and sells you made along with the course of the market. We hope you like it Smiley

PS Check out that effective gain of 2.58% Smiley
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 09, 2014, 04:43:49 PM
Hi  Wink Wink
I was curious to understand how you create the market history graph (max min open close volume etc) if in the API page there isn't an API Call with the market history values (or maybe i haven't seen it!).
BTC-E api seems very poor. Where's the order creator API?

I Have also checked here : https://support.btc-e.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/26/4/trade-api-en But it seems the same API spec

There simply is no BTC-E API for long term market history.
We keep the history locally on the client but also provide an up-to-date version on the net Wink.
Currently we offer a high resolution history for the last two months and this is growing every day.
When you start the software it fetches the history and you are ready to go.

As for creating an order, in the link you sent us there is a
method called "Trade" near the end of the page that allows this.

We are happy to answer any other questions you might have Sampey. The
success of C.A.T was part of the reason we decided to create
leonArdo! Smiley
1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 09, 2014, 01:43:40 PM
nice to have you here Sampey Smiley.

Hi, is this the complete API reference page? : https://btc-e.com/api/documentation

At least this is what we are using.
If you have any specific questions, let us know.

1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BOT] leonArdo - Automatic Trading Platform on: March 09, 2014, 01:13:24 PM
If you were legit you wouldn't be hiding behind a brand new account. Anyone stupid enough to fall for this deserves to get wiped clean.

So then please be so kind and elaborate on how we could do that.
We can't withdraw funds from an account with the information we have and we won't take any payment before we can deliver the product.
We didn't have an account on this forum so we had to setup a new one.

Further (as mentioned before Smiley )
a) we don't take the payment directly (e.g. escrow)
b) even if we wanted we can't withdraw the funds from the exchange
c) we have a video that demonstrates that this is not just some fantasy product
d) we will provide support to users to run the software in a virtual machine if they wish to do this.
