1  Economy / Securities / Blockchain Capital Fund (BCAP) tokens for sale at discount vs. market on: September 02, 2021, 02:13:57 PM
I am in need of some funds and INX are having issues with the trading of BCAP tokens on their platform. Latest NAV is $18+ (See. https://loop.blockchain.capital/) and last trade is at $14+ but due to the trading platform having their head up their ass for weeks I would be willing to sell 1000 tokens (one thousand) for $12,000 (possibly $11 if I am dealing with an older member that knows what he's doing). Happy to use established escrow and work with seller. I am an 'old head' in crypto and can smell a scam a mile away so don't bother. I will of course be happy to sign customary documentation if you require. Willing to accept Wire transfer, Bitcoin, ETH or Litecoin.

If you are unfamiliar the BCAP fund consist of seed investments in many different crypto and high profile projects. If you want to check out the fund composition you can see the Q2 report here: https://www.securities.io/blockchain-capitals-bcap-token-q2-2021-results/
I am holding the rest of my tokens mostly due to the holdings in Circle, and OpenSea. In my opinion it's one of the best way to invest in a range of interesting projects in the crypto space.

If you are interested PM and we can arrange escrow etc. This is a time limited offer since I require the funds quickly (within 10 days) to pay for some outstanding hosting etc.

3  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [82/83] "What is Bitcoin?" silkscreened posters [UPDATED DESIGN FOR 2016] on: June 01, 2021, 06:14:52 AM
You can now be the owner of one of these masterpieces as a redeemable NFT! (Includes shipping to U.S. destination as part of the NFT). High quality cleaned up scan of original numbered and signed print as NFT and you can get the original shipped (already included in NFT price). With Nubbins blessing and 10% of sale price going to Nubbins as royalty for the artwork!

Do we get an NFT sent to us with the # print of the poster we already own if we own one of these and can prove it? I’ve been a fan of this poster and love the idea of it paying dividends in the form of an NFT for owners after all of these years. Nice work either way. Good idea.

I would love to be able to provide this service, however it makes little sense for you to send me the poster to have it scanned and send it back. I recommend (see Nubbins post) using a print shop (that's what I did) to have a print-resolution scan made of the print. After that you can simply mint your own NFT on a platform of your choice. I don't claim to hold any 'rights' to the NFT creation, I simply asked Nubbins for his blessing, and offer him a cut of any sales of the posters I already own, and turn into NFT's. Since they are numbered and signed, I assume that if the quality is good, a NFT you mint of your own poster would be the 'same' as the one's I am minting as far as value and uniqueness.

If you would like one of my NFT's with the poster shipped I would be happy to trade for any other crypto memorabilia you would like to part with. I own a few Nastycoins myself and love them, for example.

Some background: neuromancer purchased the print that’s being NFT’d some time ago, and he created the digital file that accompanies it — a hi-res scan of his specific print. As each print was done by hand, each one is actually slightly different — the most noticeable area is in the gradient sky background. If you want to NFT your personal prints from this series in the same manner, a 10% cut of the sale will endow you with my blessing on the endeavor. You’d likely want to pay for a hi-res scan of your specific print, including the number and signature on the bottom, but any reasonably equipped print shop or college/university/museum should be able to assist with this.

Thank you for the input Nubbins. I will add that I had each print scanned in 300DPI (i have tiff, PDF, and high res JPG) so each NFT comes with high resolution and professionally cleaned up and color matched scan of each specific poster already, so any NFT that is purchased comes with matching digital file, of that specific poster. Figured it was worth doing it right. I would also be open to selling the 'NFT' (digital files) as well as the print here on Bitcointalk directly via Nubbins as escrow and bump the cut to 15% for the effort involved in facilitating the sale as a trusted party.

Starting bid dropped to 0.2 ETH for this first unique, redeemable NFT. Also: The sale of the NFT/Poster donates 10% of the proceeds to Nubbins, the original creator.

From the description listed on the Openseas... "There are rumors that the poster contains a 'secret' that translates to a private key possibly holding a small amount of bitcoin, but I cannot deny or verify this."

This seems somewhat misleading, no?....

The P.P. of the first edition actually contains secret text promising a btc prize; this text was commissioned by a private party for a select number of copies of the initial run of posters, and the prize is presently unredeemable.

YES! I am changing the description. I cocked up and didn't notice that the poster was the second edition 2016! NOTE THIS!! Description is being changed on opensea as we speak. 100% my mistake. NOTE: THE NFT AND ACCOMPANYING ARTWORK IS THE 2016 edition seen here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1387250.0;all

Edit: The mention of the 'secret' has been removed. Thank you for pointing this out.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I bought 30 grand usd worth of P106 and hosted them in China! on: August 30, 2020, 02:17:09 AM
hindsight backwards, at the time how could he know ether was going to $400, what he did know is what he could steadily earn via buying the cheap hardware.  he could have grabbed 30k worth of eth and lost half in a dump to $150.   He took the safe path nothing wrong with that

If it crashed to 150 usd then the result would be the same, he would 3x more time to earn those 30k again because profit would crash 3x and that would be a pain for him as he would be paying for the electricity and earnings would be even smaller, the more it rises the better it is as electricity becomes trivial to pay. The end result would be the same, buying coins would still be the better choice no matter how you do.

Impressive lack of understanding of why people mine, equipment rest value, privacy, and ecosystem support.

No exchange will list this pump and dump scammy coin project.

Volume, and price is picking up. If people look at ETC/ETH price, and ZCASH/ZCLASSIC.... I'm thinking this might be the next 10x in any form of bull-run.
