1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Need a Real Bitcoin Online Store, not "retailers" who just price gouge 15-20% on: August 18, 2011, 12:19:10 PM
That's why I sell my wick for bitcoin!

Priced the same as, or cheaper than, my US dollar retail price.

As far as turning blue goes, you would need to ingest a lot of that silver. Besides that, it isn't toxic or deadly.

My grandmother uses it in a nasal spray form - She had MRSA and it helped to kill it.

The MRSA was otherwise resistant to antibiotics.

4  Economy / Goods / Re: Organic Hemp Wick - Butane Lighter Alternative - Healthy and Tasty - Free Sample on: July 15, 2011, 08:50:04 PM
All done moving the Earthlite HQ - I will have a nice site up soon, with a place to buy the wick for bitcoin!

I also have plans to get more goods besides the wick! I am looking to get some nice glass wick holders, and some other accessories too.

I have had some requests for specific items to be offered when I expand my inventory.

If you think there is something that Earthlite Organics should offer, please PM me or comment with your suggestions!

In states and countries where it is lawful, this is also an excellent alternative for any patients using cannabis medicinally.

Other herbs and flowers such as passionflower can be smoked. There are also these blends of different plants that I've seen smoke shops selling as an alternative smoke. All contents were lawful materials.

What's it used for? Is it like a replacement for a candle?

Obviously you wouldn't use it for cigarettes, because you have to use a lighter or match just to get it going in the first place, right?

Actually, you can use it for cigarettes, as well as pipes, hooka, etc.

It is not about the act of igniting your smoked material; rather, the purpose of this product is to ignite your smoked material while minimizing the chemicals inhaled from the burning fuel, and improving taste.

Butane also causes drowsiness, headaches, and if you smoke enough, a dulled sense of smell and taste. It's kind of like putting your mouth to car exhaust.

It sounds silly, but that is what many of my friends thought until they tried it.

It takes a bit more time and effort to light your pipe or cigarette, or cigar, or whatnot, but the improvement in taste and cleanliness of the smoke is worth it.

The name of this game is already taken by a game known as The Game.

Speaking of the Game, I just lost the Game.

13  Economy / Goods / Organic Hemp Wick - Butane Lighter Alternative - Healthy and Tasty - Free Sample on: June 24, 2011, 07:29:08 PM
Copied from my old topic in the now obsolete "Selling" Forum (I tried to get it moved).
See feedback from my previous customers at the link above.

I currently have a micro-sized side business selling organic hemp wick.

What is hemp wick, you say?
It is a hemp twine, dipped in beeswax. It burns like a match or a lighter, and you use it as an alternative to butane lighters and sulfur-burning matches.

It improves the taste of your smoke while decreasing the amount of dangerous chemicals inhaled.
I am serious about the change in taste.
Ironically, beeswax burns so clean it is approved by the American Lung Association.

I will be selling 20foot amounts wrapped around wooden tags at the current rate of 0.30 BTC.

For comparison, the two major brands of hemp wick sell 15.5 feet for 5 US dollars in retail shops.

If anyone ends up trying and loving the wick, bulk purchases are also possible. I can do 50, 100 or 200 foot rolls (or more!) at a discounted rate.

I have a website in the works, but will put up the link later when I get more of a reputation and posting history on here.

If any folks out there want to help me build community trust, let me send you a sample! They are now completely free in the US (add cost of postage internationally), one sample request per user. If you like it, think about donating anything, or better yet, buy a bundle!

PM me to place an order or post your order on this thread. I will reply with a newly generated address just for you.
Thanks for reading!

Namaste,
Shfinkel

15  Other / Meta / Re: Can we start to use "troll" correctly? on: June 24, 2011, 02:44:36 AM
Trollology, or the science of trolling, is a long established field, going back to the Boston Tea Party of the American revolution, where white guys dumped some rich dudes tea out into the harbor dressed as Native Americans.

1776 Troll'd

I also think that it is fully possible for there to be hired trolls on this forum.

This is an ideological threat to many of the people in power, not so much economic in the present time.

There are Internet Reputation Management Firms that are hired to influence opinion a certain way on the web.

No joke.
16  Other / Meta / Re: "Wall of Trust"/Feedback Section on: June 24, 2011, 02:41:22 AM
I like this idea.

Back when I was younger I went through a phase where I was really into paintball. The paintball forum pbnation.com had many users and vendors who employed this technique. I spent around $600 US on the forum and got everything I paid for. It worked very well.
17  Other / Meta / Re: New Forum for "Bitcoin Gaming" on: June 24, 2011, 02:30:20 AM
I support this idea.

18  Other / Meta / "Wall of Trust"/Feedback Section on: June 24, 2011, 02:29:18 AM
I was thinking there could be a Wall of Trust or a Feedback Section in the forum.

For business done via the marketplace forum, does it seem like a good idea to have a separate section for feedback threads?

The rules for the section could be something like this:

-Topics are 1 per user, to be started by the user.

-Only posts allowed on these topics are positive/negative feedback about transactions.

That way, if someone wants to see if you are trustworthy, they can go to this topic, and see what other people have said about the guy's trustworthiness.

If you physically drive to my house first, and let me pull your finger, the bitcoin is yours.

Where do you live?

On a certain location on a certain continent of a certain planet called Earth.
