Bummer. Tesla would be a great marketing partner. They won't give you a Model S instead?

The price just shot up quite a bit. I could have made more on Bter but I honored my offer.
You don't understand the difference between a bid and an ask.

btw... Why did JL quit the dev comm?
He was concerned about legal liabilities for being officially associated with NXT.

It's a bait and switch.
You know what else is a bait and switch? Posting an offer and then deleting it. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

click the back button... it will go back to the way it was when you think you saw it!
This was maybe a week ago.

question... would you
a) start college in the hope of getting a job...
b) accumulate as much nxt as possible(100k nxt or more) in the hope it makes you wealthier in 2 years then if you spent 3 years in college and then work for 5 years to make the same or less?
Go to college, if its a decent one, and you have a good idea of what you want to study. I'm thinking about going back and adding a computer science major to my math major. I deeply regret not knowing exactly what I wanted to study when I was in college.

I think its NEM. I could have sworn that I saw a double post, one from Emule account, and one immediately afterwards from a different account with a NEM signature. The first post had a quote, but the second post didn't have the quote, but had the exact same words after the quote. When I went back to go find it, the second post was gone (deleted?). Can that happen when you are logged in to two accounts at the same time?

No, not Elon Musk. Damn. Can you imagine what would happen to the price if he were BCNext?

April is coming..
I'm going to publish BCNext's photo next week. optimistic guess:

I think its a very old account. Nexern's buggy blockchain explorer shows 11k nxt transferred in during November.

some one is buying up a fuck lot of them... :/ im on dotnxt click aliases and sort by timestamp its like 100 a min for the last half hour or something! pure stupid ones too.. say he has a bot doing it for him...
It appears that he or she is buying every 3 letter alias available.
|
|
|
When I try to register an alias what do I enter under uri.
Thanks!
I am a rookie You and I have the same question Who can help I believe you can leave it blank for now. I think its for using the alias as a pointer to a website, but you can always change once you own the alias.

Guys, I figured it out. Emule is the Dark Knight. He brings us together by giving us a common enemy.

If they are forced to use only NXT for their trades then the demand will generate a higher price for NXT. That is how the math works. Do you expect that their will such a tidal wave of business inflow that the price of NXT will not be able to keep up? I think that would be when it would actually go to the moon.
James, BrooklynBTC, Sebestian, other people, and I have all made very good arguments for why what you wrote above it wrong. You show no sign that you even understand the counter arguments. I understand your argument completely, and it's wrong. In fact, I once agreed with what you are saying before thinking about it. You are repeating yourself. +1440 Couldn't have worded it better myself. I was going back and catching up on this thread, and I was getting really frustrated seeing Jerical13 repeat the same argument. Dude, we understand supply and demand. This is so much more complicated than that. Regardless, CIYAM thinks that this discussion is a moot point due to automated transactions.

I do have this problem.
Hey Daedelus (or any other wiki contributor), Can we update the wiki to mention this issue with the old blockchain explorer, and provide the link to the mynxt explorer? Wouldn't want people accidentally resending transactions when they don't see them in the old blockchain explorer.

not necessarily. first you decide how many blocks into the future it is ideal for people to be able to predict. lets say 10 as an offhand example. once someone submits a valid pow block you could record it then but not have it effect the process of deduction until 10 blocks after its submission. so for example say it was submitted as block 100,000. you could make it so that that hashing this block isnt part of the generation sigature perramiter until block 100,010.
Dang, that is pretty slick.

we are trying to make 10 or so blocks reliably predictable and 1440 blocks reliably unpredictable at the same time.
So wouldn't a POW block break this? Say POW block is in 3 blocks, but we want the 10th block to be predictable?

suddenly much buying power wazup?
why is nxt going up so much on bter, is there something comming up, NEWS?
NXT will break 0.7 soon.?? Huge lift of
Not sure about the current market dynamics, but... Bitcoin currently has a 11% inflation rate, in terms of supply. NXT has 0%. If the ratio of bitcoin market cap to NXT market cap were to stay the same, NXT price (denominated in BTC) would appreciate by 11.11% in 2014, 10% in 2015, 9.09% in 2016, 4.17% in in 2017, and 4.00% in 2018.
