1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMO] EmotiCoin - BLOCK HALVING IN 5 DAYS !!! on: April 05, 2014, 08:41:11 AM
Great news everyone! We've just ordered our first EMO ATM !!!! Will be available next month in Prague, Czech Republic!

No offence but what good is a single ATM when there is nothing really to spend EMO on?  Could the money used to buy it not be better spent promoting EMO on something like Reddit? or used to hire developers to make cool new apps, websites, or even tipbots?

P.S. Why has no subreddit been set-up for this coin?  Reddit is a very good thing for the community... just look at how it help Dogecoin become what it is.

I think the difficulty still needs to retarget faster. Huge hash rates show up when the difficulty is real low, then leave and the others are stuck mining at a high difficulty with little reward. Before the hashrate jumped up the block time was on average 20 minutes per block. Then hughe hash shows up and block times 14 seconds. Then they leave again.

+1

I totally agree... Some kind of gravity well should really come standard with all coins.

Hi,

Can you ask your programmer to take a look at the deposit systems for the two games as it appears to not be working correctly.

Issue:
The deposits say that they will take between 6-15 minutes and as the block time is meant to be 1 minute I am guessing that this means that the game deposits need to have between 6-15 confirmations.

Today there is a much higher network hashrate and so deposits should be happening much quicker then yesterday, however this is not the case.

Examples:
I sent 5,000,000 EMO to the Wheel Game 75 minutes ago and it currently has 141 confirmations but yet the website still says that there is 15 minutes remaining on the deposit time (It has said this for the whole 75 minutes).

I sent 5,000,000 EMO to the Dice Game 40 minutes ago and it currently has 69 confirmations but yet the website still says that there is 6 minutes remaining on the deposit time (It has said this for the whole 40 minutes).

Note:  I hope you do not think I am being awkward, I am simply wanting to help make sure that the services are as best as possible so this wonderful coin can keep growing Smiley

It was because of small wallet amount. I've just sent there 50M EMO, when it'll be confirmed, you'll be able to send highier bets. Max bet is wallet amount / 40.

Thank you for the info... This coin has excellent support Smiley

Now we just need miners to get back on the coin so it does take 6-12 hours to move coins around!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMO] EmotiCoin - UPDATE WALLETS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!! on: March 31, 2014, 03:13:01 PM
Issue with the Dice Game:
It started by saying that the max bet was "46.20000800" EMO but now the bet has lowered, for example:  Now it says the max bet is: "42.59200768" EMO

If this was a Bitcoin or Litecoin gambling site then having such a low bet limit would be acceptable but as it is a EMO site the bet limit should be a heck of a lot higher... possibly even in the millions.

Edit:  It appears that the max bet limit is lowered every time that I win... This suggests that either the games wallet is extremely low or it has been coded in such a way as to try to limit the amount that can be won.

Please can you get your "programmer" to fix the issues with the Dice game and the Wheel game... It does not make the coin look good when the official services don't even work.

How long before coins show up on Dice game  Huh

It took 24 hours for my coins to show up on the Wheel of Fortune game and I deposited coins to the dice game 2.5 hours ago and they are about 40%-50% ready, so I'm guess it will probably take between 5-12 hours for a deposit to show up on the dice game.

Hello,

The Wheel of Fortune game is officially broken...  My 1,000,000 EMO deposit finally shows in my balance (it took 24 hours) and now when I try to make a bet or "Spin" I get a message saying...

"You've entered too big bet.  At this time we only accept bets which are not bigger than 1.25 BTC."

As well as this, the "10%", "50%" and "All" buttons appear to do nothing.

I am now withdrawing my 1,000,000 EMO so hopefully that part of the website works!!

I have now made a 1,000,000 EMO deposit to the "Dice" game so I will be testing that shortly but if that is also broken then I think you need to find a new programmer Smiley

Please send me the address where you've sent EMOs and transaction ID. I'll check it.

The address I sent it to was 6ZfVPBYUWp4DecKKVSB3iZz5CheJ3cZHy8 and can't find a transaction ID for it in the block explorer.

You should see the transaction ID in transaction list in your wallet. Do you have the last version of wallet??

Yes I have the latest wallet version.  My apologies I forgot that you can double click the transactions to see the details   Embarrassed

The transaction ID is: ce0d6708b3f3b63db8f455f3c7517dbbcab3bc39fca588c99b6bc989ff22e453

Hi, I'm sorry, but it's not the problem of wheel of fortune, but miners... It's really 15 minutes when the block time is 1 minute, but now it's about 15 mins per block. But don't worry, I have a plan and it will fix the situation tomorrow or a day after tomorrow.

Just wondering... How many confirmations does it take for the deposits to be counted for the wheel game?

My wallet shows that the transaction currently has 22 confirmations and I don't really understand why it only takes minutes to deposit to and/or withdraw from exchanges but it has been over 4 hours and my deposit on the game is still not available.

Thanks for the reply.

You should consider making the website tell the correct waiting times (or as close as possible) instead of saying things like 15 minutes if the pending time is actually going to be hours or days.

New services for EmotiCoin

Play Wheel Of Fortune for EmotiCoins on http://wheel.emoticoin.org
Play DICE game for EmotiCoins on http://dice.emoticoin.org
http://www.host-engine.com - game server hosting, web hosting, dedicated servers

I sent 1,000,000 EMO to the "Wheel Of Fortune" game an hour ago but its still not showing Sad

Edit: It is now showing in the "Pending Deposits" and says it has 15 minutes left until it will be in my balance. That means it will have taken 85 minutes to deposit funds... You might want to find a way to shorten the time it takes to deposit new funds!

Another Edit:  It has now been 45 minutes since the EMO shown up in "Pending Deposits" and said there was 15 minutes left... It still says it is pending with 15 minutes left!

Yet Another Edit: It now says that the "Pending Deposit" has 14 minutes left... It took an hour to go from 15 to 14... It appears that it is coded incorrectly so a minute is in fact an hour.

It has been nearly three hours since I tried to deposit funds to this site :\

DO NOT USE THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE SITE UNTIL IT HAS BEEN FIXED

If you send 5M EMO, you have to wait, when anyone after you send at least 20% from this amount. Basicly the new money that flows to the Ponzi wallet goes directly to the interests of the old investors.

Ok Thanks for clearing it up... Think I'll save my coins for the Dice game Wink

BTW are you using that Dice script that I told you about?  I'm really interested in whether it is secure or has possible built in flaws.

Invest your EMOs in Ponzi High Yield Investment Program - get 20% interest fast!!! - http://ponzi.emoticoin.org

So how does this work?

For example: If I send 5,000,000 EMO do I have to wait until someone else sends 5,000,000 EMO or will I get a payout no matter what amount the next person sends?

If amounts do not need to be matched then can someone not simply play the system by sending 5,000,000 EMO from one account and then 100 EMO from another and keep getting big payouts?

Just a friendly word of warning to my fellow emoticoin users...

If you have coins in the CryptoRush exchange then you may want to either consider removing them or at least monitor the situation very carefully so that you can remove your coins if the worst happens and the exchange closes.

Here is an official post from them with regards to the latest large coin loss they have had:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=529779

In short:  They have lost 100+ BTC worth of coins because of a mistake in the way their website is coded and they are trying to blame it on the developer... This is the fourth time they have lost coins and while they are trying to continue business as normal it is a sign that things could get worse or even stop all together.

Anyone has some idea how to push the price of EmotiCoin up other than just pump? Some new services, promos etc... We have to hit 40 litoshi, so we can hit BTC market. People who sells EmotiCoin for 5 litoshi are complete idiots, because it's under the price of mining even if the diff was only 3.

Any ideas?

You need to give people something good to do with the coin otherwise people will continue to just dump it for whatever price they can get.  I know that you have them little flash games on your store that people can buy but honestly people wont really be interested in home made flash games.  Perhaps a gambling site, something like Doge-Dice or litecoin777, would be a good idea?

These are not flash games, its Windows & Android.
I'm thinking about EMO ATM, it's quite cheap, it costs about 1000 USD (the simple model without screen, just a printer)... I've got some friends in shopping centers that can put it there... but it's quite early... i think it needs more online services for now. About the gambling... are there some open source or even payed ones that aren't just for BTC but it could accept any cryptocurrency?

I agree, it is way too early for ATM's... The price needs to be much higher before this should even be considered.

There is a script being sold on this forum for around 1.1 BTC... I have thought about purchasing it myself, however I am worried that security flaws could be built in to it but unfortunately I don't have enough money to just purchase it to check the code.  Heres the link:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507515.0
