Relax, despair is quite normal and market cycle is at play here, as always. I would say we're at the Return to the mean.

Bitcoin will be king, always. That's the essence of everything. We've been through so many ups and downs and Bitcoin always prevails. They say it'll go zero and XRP will become the global currency. And what happens? It prevails and all altcoins are correlated to it. They say BTC will die because it can't deliver quick transactions, and what happens? BCH and altcoins still behind, while BTC rules the stage and delivers the LN solution. There is no greater crypto king than Bitcoin. It's safe to assume that it won't change in the near future.

Honestly, wouldn't that be better for the OP if he just hodls the Bitcoin? Unless he is really afraid the price is gonna drop and die... but I wouldn't really think so. Unless he *needs* money and it's a dire need, not for comfort? Then it's a different thing entirely. Well, I guess he can always try Bisq.

In the end, there is no REAL freedom in the human society which requires regulation and consensus. Something will be always done at someone's expense and in the way they don't like. Same with Bitcoin. Same with its integration into the mainstream and whatever govermnets choose to do with it.
That being said, Bitcoin's limited supply and other specifications make it "free" in a democratic sense and protect it from centralized abuse

It is a known fact that shitcoins dump whenever they get listed and never recover after that.
Not true. But then again... when you deal with such a coin that succeeded and kept a decent position (and not due to pump dump) maybe it would be right to call it something else than SHITcoin
It depends on the shitcoin. Sometimes, if you enter early, it IS possible to make a profit, assuming you picked the right one. But the right project needs to have a use case, solid dev team and frequent updates. Or at least VERY passionate support from the community which in turn leads to some noise around it (don't mistake with spamming because that's different). However, they are all pretty dangerous during the bear so you need to be ready to hold through bear market and execute patience

Let's see next months, next years who will make it.
Yeah, my only worry is it's simply not profitable enough to bother. Like, speculation on shitcoins and crypto trading in general are pretty popular, so services like coinmarketcap gets their proper share simply from ads. But list of merchants, well... probably not much visits. But maybe it'll change someday in the future, once BTC payments become REAL popular. Who knows. I actually tried to click the Bitcoin for Pizza site but I became dramatic because of the interface. Stated there was "Thanks for the Fun Ride!" technically, they stopped operating their project and we all know what is the possible reason why.
Oh you're right! Sad. I didn't realize they were unoperational.

To be clear, I don't blame you for saying this, lol.
It was actually a good idea. I wish there was actually a Coinmarketcap for merchants, and one that's popular enough to list all relevant merchants (physical and online). Maybe someday someone will make one... and it won't be a kind of directory where you pay money if you want to get promoted and/or listed...
I'm not sure what you're saying here because it sounds like you're gonna uphold merchants to ICO's starndards... but both are different things entirely. Besides, as far as I know there isn't a "Coinmarketcap" for all merchants. Well, and yes, it's not like I went on the darknet and pulled out some shady-looking websites or the ones that just look straighforward spammy. I double checked and they all seemed fine.
However, third party service (like CoinMap and similar) for people who WANT to be extra sure and cross reference everything before buying is a good idea (though for smaller purhases it just looks like unnecessary bother, as opposed to ICO and bigger investments, for example). Anyway, let me make the list and update the post. It could be useful to newbies in this section.

I know all exposure is good exposure but... can we talk about the title? Why call it crypto anyway? So if you made a movie about criminals laundering money and they do it smuggling some bags of $$$ cash, would you just call the movie "Dollar"? Seriously, this entire thing stinks and it's like they want to get famous for using crypto in the name. Cheap move = cheap production (even though the budget isn't THAT shitty . In any case, I'm pretty sure no one will remember about this movie in a couple of month after premiere. Let's just forget it

Great idea, let's make this list more useful. I'm gonna keep adding you suggestions, guys!

So... can a "Bitcoin Retailer" get listed with you?
