Probably a newbie who doesn't know how fees work. There is no room for error when creating txs.

It's always the time to buy bitcoin a bit at a time. I buy bitcoin every month with spare cash I have. Your savings will grow. You can spend your bitcoin when you need to and buy it back when you have the opportunity. It is a matter of time bitcoin will be worth a lot more than $500.

Selling something you own in bitcoin or offer to do work for bitcoin. 0.01btc is not much, anyone can earn that very easily when you put your mind to it. Bitcoin is money, cannot expect it to magically fall into your pocket.

Bitcoin adoption is slow, not horrible. We have more merchants accepting bitcoin than a couple of years ago. There is nothing you can't buy with cash, credit card and PayPal. Bitcoin need to penetrate those markets. It takes time.

BitFury do not make hardware for home use. They only sell hash power online to cloud miners. They will lead the race in long run.

I like using mobile phones to make transactions because it has a camera to grab are codes. I do think mobiles are more vulnerable to hacks.

I have created paper wallets before. I used an address from bitcoin core and not from blockchain.info wallet. I prefer to use an address which has never been "online".

The site looks shady, owner disappeared before, he can do it again.

I think it all depends on the price of bitcoin. If bitcoin price stays at current level, fees will have to rise to keep mining profitable.

You can win big when you bet big, but it's risky. The slow and steady method works for me. I can win about a few dollars a week.

I think the uptrend will continue after the halving then follow by a small correction. It is a tough call, no one can predict what will happen.

I think it's a good idea to use ducts to take hot air out of the room and keep the room cool. You can use those rigid round aluminium ventilation duct for kitchen. Those aren't expensive.

My biggest loss is in fiat, equivalent to about 1 btc at recent prices. I don't gamble that big in bitcoin.

I have a bitcoin wallet in blockchain.info.
Is there a way to recover/find bitcoins when blockchain.info is abruptly shut-down by hacking or unexpected events? I have a paper backup of blockchain.info's wallet.
It is possible. You should backup your private keys often. I export the keys unencrypted in bitcoin core format and encrypt the text file with a strong password.

Early adopters are those who took risks to use the innovations before mass adoption. We are not at mass adoption phase yet. We are early adopters. If bitcoin is going bust tomorrow, we are late adopters.

Bitcoin is already an investment, no need to double invest it and risk loosing some or all of it. There are not many trustworthy sites to invest.

I was thinking about buying some gift cards from there before, I am glad I didn't. This is a well planned scam, deceiving the most experienced bitcoin users. Characteristics of bitcoin do make scamming easy. I was close to loosing some coins. I am lucky this time, will be extra careful in the future.
Thank you for busting the scam.

The address space is unimaginably large, address collision is extremely unlikely. I understand that ever since I first know about bitcoin. But there is still a worrying thought in my mind that this is possible and there is no protection to my coins when that happens. I have got used to using bitcoin without this insecurity because I think if a collision happened, mine won't be the first to collide.
