741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bep20 token sent to ERC20 address. Can recover? on: June 01, 2021, 10:07:43 AM
In here we see the clear consequences of not having enough knowledge about what you do, specially in this industry. I hope that guy you know learns from this well and does his best in the future to avoid the same mistake or anything of the sort. I say this because it is highly impossible for that guy as of this moment to get back those assets since the two are entirely different networks and I highly doubt that support team/personnel would give that much attention to such problems since it clearly is an outcome of your guy's carelessness. Just tell him not to throw away the keys though because who knows? Maybe in the coming months or years, they may do something about this.
It's more of being undisciplined instead of lacking knowledge, as far as I know this two network has the same address format, even if you're so proficient in crypto you can make such mistake, also this kind of thing happened to those coin that hardforked from btc as well. tbh this not gonna be a big deal if his friend has the private key to the address he sent the token, problem is, the centralized system that exchange has usually very complicated and the privkey most likely saved somewhere along with other hundred thousand address. but i'm sure if the exchange put enough effort it's retrievable, but it also depends whether that gonna incur loss to the exchange or not for undergoing such complicated process.
742  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: June 01, 2021, 09:29:33 AM
At the initial stage both the central banks and Bitcoin will co-exists. This means that fiat and bitcoin will be used side by side. When people began to use more bitcoin and crypto, then the fiat transaction will become less and the role of banks at that time will become limited. Slowly the banks will began to shutdown and eventually there will be no banks and no fiat currencies.
central bank not gonna shut down, that's why they also trying to create CBDC that is to compete with cryptocurrency that are decentralized, then maybe in the future cryptocurrency will act like more of digital store of value and stock while the money still controlled by bank through CBDC and I think thats the most realistic future I can see. Of course implementation of CBDC will take a long time as always with the bureaucracy of the government and maybe in the future traditional stocks will get tokenized as well allowing it for trading 24/7
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Warning: Cardano can drops to 0.5$ and Ethereum to $800 on: June 01, 2021, 07:27:09 AM
Doubt that, many people valued ETH above 1000 dollar and anything below that will be easy buy for them and that's also not an exception for me. Remember although you may consider my statement bullshit but institutional investors actually prefer to invest in ETH because they see its promising future of decentralized apps. with Cardano i don't really know but ETH at this point is already reaching really large audience and even if you consider how much eth needed to execute smart contract it's very obvious that the demand will not lacking in the future, people who says nope today will say i regret in few years.

Ethereum is the king of altcoins, meaning that the demand for Ethereum must be very high. That way more and more people will buy Ethereum,
I also doubt Ethereum can go down again to the price of $ 800. That's why when Ethereum dropped below $ 2000 a few days ago, it can now
quickly recover by going up again to $ 2400. Cardano's performance is almost the same as Ethereum, which Cardano has also experienced
a very drastic price increase this year, I doubt Cardano will ever drop to $ 0.5 again. In conclusion, investing in Ethereum and Cardano is very profitable.
True and the tokens that are under ethereum blockchain is so many basically we lost count and those coins all paired with ETH you can imagine that ETH demand not gonna go anytime soonCardano also doing very well, many youtubers in crypto actually hype it up saying it's a good project and i personally think it is but people can have different opinion. ETH on the other hand still have ETH 2.0 coming up that make it more functional, scalable, and all. if ETH could get dumped to $800 i'll be scratching my head since it doesn't seem to be happening in real world scenario.
744  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: May 31, 2021, 09:38:34 AM
he does not completely control the market with his money, but he also controls the market by manipulating the minds of his followers. this person has nearly 60 million followers on twitter, certainly not a difficult thing for him to do that.
Any other influencer with such amount could influence the market but not as influental as elon musk. I see the scale of elon's influence in crypto is definitely abnormal, it reminds me of other billionaires that has commented about crypto and no one actually care but elon with just one word everyone going crazy, why? because he's deemed as someone who is proficient in technology, therefore many people who know crypto also follow him. Not difficult thing for elon but definitely not easy as well for other influencers. Elon just has the charm for this kind of thing related to technology due to his company tesla and spacex.
745  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long until the "we're in a bear market" people admit they were wrong? on: May 31, 2021, 08:53:29 AM
Both scenario could play out but even if bitcoin able to climb up to $55K after the dump or based on your post it's a "major correction" then it's already enough to make those people admit they were wrong after all hitting that amount isn't some measly achievement
but trust me, they keep saying we're in a bear market for reasons and one of them is to accumulate in the very bottom of the dip, I mean what else right? they keep making statement like that because they are in cut loss position and trying to recover their money by scalping and buyback.

747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Paypal To Add Support For Third-Party BITCOIN WALLET TRANSFERS on: May 30, 2021, 10:31:28 AM
Good news but how about the news that's spreading before about Paypal accepting crypto for their payment gateway? it's more important than paypal letting users transfer their btc outside their platform since it means it's gonna cover a really wide customers while also expose them to bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
Many popular e-commerce platform already accept paypal as their one payment method and if they succesfully implement what they promised it's gonna be such a bomb, though we could just buy gift card as well if paypal allows withdrawal of btc to third party wallet.
748  Economy / Speculation / Re: I speculate Tesla has sold their coins on: May 30, 2021, 10:10:52 AM
They maybe sold some big portion of it, but if they did sell all of their coins as some of people speculated here, isn't that good though? basically one more threat that holds back btc growth eliminated so we can have a smooth as silk bullrun in the future.
Basically a bright future since no more manipulation, fud, etc by just one corporation.

I think for something big like that, especially bitcoin address which can traced, they might be not sell their coins yet but want to buy more. But that is only my personal opinion. Because usually if a big amount of coins deposited or moved to exchanges, there will be a news and no big news yet (or me who don't know yet) but not see any article about it.
We don't even know what address they are holding the BTC, big fat chance it's gonna be in custodial service where there's insurance but thats just my speculation. They could slip to the market and no one gonna even notice if they gradually dumped it without trying to leave any trace.
749  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUD-slingers saying 20K this weekend... on: May 30, 2021, 07:18:15 AM
No one know for sure whats really gonna happen but media mostly got it wrong and you see they are also starting to publish news rather late so why trust speculation from such nonsense media, even if the market goes bearish we could still see yet another bullrun
and i will tell you the truth this kind of media publish such FUD usually aims for people who are really afraid to further spread the news making it like self fulfilling propechy so it's better to stop helping them spreading the fuds.
Instead, if you want to know about btc analyzation price why don't just you join such discussion like in reddit, etc?
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling Ethereum on: May 27, 2021, 09:56:37 AM
If you're a US citizen didn't coinbase already have a service where they gonna take care of it for you and what you need to do is to fill some form? I mean coinbase literally have a department specialized for that
https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/taxes-reports-and-financial-services/taxes/coinbase-tax-resource-center so maybe you better contact them through that since you know they are a professional in that field.
But i think you're not gonna pay for capital gain taxes before you really make the "capital gain" or the profit is still an unrealized profit but i could be wrong, better ask the professional.
751  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much attention should be paid to forecast websites? on: May 27, 2021, 08:41:20 AM
Next to none, if you believe so these forecast website so much then might as well program a bot that follows their forecast but nah, these predictions are mostly just speculation and doesn't guarantee accuracy. If their forecast could even get their prediction right 1 out of 3 most of people gonna flock to this website but instead people trying to make their own technical analysation meaning even those so called expert TA doesn't really trust each other prediction and they usually have their own way of making prediction. Best thing to do is just to see the project with your own eyes and make decision out of it in my opinion.
Many people actually have become succesfull in investing crypto for simply seeing the technicality of the project and rarely I see someone making consistent profit using these forecasting website.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to pay transaction fee from another account in ethereum? on: May 27, 2021, 07:24:42 AM
function from an address? did you mean function from a smart contract address? if yes then that's not possible since the account you used to send a transaction will always pay for gas but if the function itself is just a constant, pure or view function then it just requires you to make a call and no gas will be consumed.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost money on the market drop. What should I do? on: May 26, 2021, 12:59:44 PM
If you just seeking some stable investment that's not gonna make you losing any money then maybe the best investment for you is just to stake stablecoin and wait until it somehow make your money grow and let you recover your loss.
If you are asking which altcoin gonna bring you enormous profit it recover your lost instantly then no one know. tbh, there's also yield farming that could gives big return but the volatility is what stopping most of people, maybe you can try that way but remember it has the risk of making you lose your money due to volatility.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: May 26, 2021, 12:28:08 PM
What do you mean with still hot? NFT is still going strong as ever and even growing now many companies that are big also starting to implement NFT, trust me within few years NFT gonna dominate because it's usefulness, I even predicted that many games in the future will implement NFT and it's not only limited to that.
I'd even say the current stage of NFT is still on its early phase, many people seeing NFT as gimmick because they really don't know the potential behind NFT and how it can be more impactful to end user than cryptocurrency itself, just mark my word in the future it's gonna happen.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: May 26, 2021, 09:25:36 AM
in my opinion staking is definitely recommended but only if you know what exactly you're doing, the chance of losing your coin is always there as I heard smart contract breach could allow any malicious person from stealing your money but it happens very rarely since most of the code usually audited first not to mention it's defi we're talking about.
But, you must also remember that staking isn't just waiting for it to give you the promised APR, many thing could happen betweet the period of your staking moreover if it's locked it could pose some danger of missing opportunity, so you need to take into account all the possibility that could occur within your period of staking however I always recommend a reputable staking platform.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scenario of the crypto market in near future. on: May 25, 2021, 07:49:36 AM
It will go bullish instead, many people expecting bearish after seeing the recent market dump but btc always go against their expectation and my argument strongly backed up by the news circulating of accumulation by whalesbut of course some people will still get clouded in fear and not gonna believe it but many have actually turn side in the bullish side because the price pattern looks like when it's going to go up. we can be wrong though after all its just speculation but its definitely not just wishful thinking, i think btc market still going strong despite elons market manipulation and many more.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: May 25, 2021, 07:08:13 AM
So silly question bitcoin is the thing that started it all, even though it's more of a precious digital goods or digital gold than having any utility other than having remmittance functionality nowadays it's still essential, most of coins also paired against it
Yes ETH, BSC, or even TRON that you keep glorifying since like a month ago have better features than btc but do you think a coin is just that? just because those features the coin deserve to have high value? definitely not BTC could become so expensive nowaday because most of people always recognize btc first.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will safeBTC and SafeMoon Pump to 50x in this year?????????????????????????????? on: May 25, 2021, 05:55:46 AM
No one could predict such pump and dump project, it could go up hundred times it could also go down near to losing its value,
maybe it's better if you stay away from it altogether since if you're trying to gamble there's no need for gimmicks of making gamble disguised as investing not to mention ur question sounds like youre asking for people to predict future, none of us here are fortune teller and those price statistic you showing means nothing because whether the coin gonna pump or not up to the market
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: May 24, 2021, 10:07:25 AM
I use centralized exchanges to trade. I mainly use Binance and Kucoin, I trust them to some extent. Decentralized exchanges are expensive to use due to too high commission. And risk exists everywhere in one way or another.
if i'm being frank that's true, even better if the cex offers insurance so it equals out the risk we can have from exchanging using either dex or cex, but the problem with dex is sometime there's fake smart contract everywhere it's just really risky and i think the dev of the dex should do something about that like making community report feature to tag it as phishing or scam, but the lower tier of cex also could be very shady, sometime i just look at the liquidity and just use it temporarily like withdrawing after im done converting my money
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal Experimenting with smart contract !! on: May 24, 2021, 09:11:03 AM
Technology corporations such as Samsung, Microsoft, and Apple also have hundreds of blockchain-related patents. Paypal is also a big tech company and they also have blockchain-related research. Paypal is the largest cross-border payment company in the world, so it's only natural to find a way to upgrade their payment and money transfer solutions.
these big company have many patents but never actually use it for the betterment of the community instead they just keep it to themselves, with smart contract i think paypal will open up their platform to crypto people but certainly its not gonna go against their interest but i could imagine its gonna stimulate other companies to use smart contract if paypal could prove it to be beneficiary, the most important thing is to see how they could actually implement use of smart contract to their centralized system and im really curious about that.
