I don't get why the devs refuse to fix the inflation and drop it down to 1000 already. We are way past the fair distribution stage. We're on the who gives a f*ck how much millions of MRC I because their worth less and less every day stage. Fix the inflation rate to match demand right now god damn it.

I'm holding MRC for the long term.

But, investors are only looking at innovative coins with good dev teams.
MRC and Alcurex are not moving very fast, and the dev team seems lazy...

Where is the pr? Daily updates? Alcurex photos of current dev?

Im giving it a month and im out.

Deja vu I thought I read this already... It's a good thing you weren't into BTC in the beginning because you would be crying with this short term attitude
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS: 11 DAYS LEFT OF INCREASING BLOCK REWARD on: March 28, 2014, 09:44:46 AM
Would you guys consider adding POS to this coin? It's gained a lot of favor with new investors, and hippies lol but seriously tho
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS: 13 DAYS LEFT OF INCREASING BLOCK REWARD on: March 27, 2014, 11:43:46 AM
Devs should rename this thread or coin to Crypto Credits because as of now this coin is none existent in a Google search. Searching Credits will give everything but this coin. Some thing to think about if you really want ppl to adopt this coin
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - Mandatory wallet update! on: March 26, 2014, 09:20:29 PM
Devs need to recruit more coders to help them out with MRC. They don't have to add them to Alcurex but at least expand the MRC team

Why would they need coders?
They need promoters, marketing team who can introduce this coin to the world.
Without promotion any development is worth nothing.

Coders are the ppl that actually build/create the services that is used to promote. I have pleanty of ideas but I cant bring it to life because I don't have the skills to do it. If they add more devs to this team maybe the other devs would be more active then the current 2 we have now.

Lol, did you ever read OP?
MRC is fair coin, giving enough time to mine it, its not one week pump coin, developers has unique plans about it, about new exchange also... Give up, sell it all, you will see later, who was right.

Well, one has to be completely dumb to sell a coin at the lowest price.

Every day somebody launches a coin with "good future".
Most of them do not succeed as we can see.

That's why we don't put all our money on zero. We spread the stakes among few coins.

Look at the market.
There is one easy exchangeable SHA256 coin - Bitcoin.
There also is a similar scrypt coin - Litecoin.

It's time for a n-scrypt coin to become widely used.
What coin can become the most popular among n-scrypt coins?

I reckon VTC, EXE and MRC.
So far I don't see any other big players.

Yes, about new wave, i vote for MRC and maybe DRK coin if they implement what they promised.

PS woot i already full member ))

Marketing in 2014 is more important than specs. Last year maybe specs mattered but doge proved that ppl will buy crap if its marketed correctly  Undecided

I would plug my female connector into his male connector right?

The other way around. Your PSU provides the male connector since it would be surrounded by the other side.

Your picture is the male connectors. Note: Since the connector is in the PCI-E 6+2 configuration, each yellow wire is capable of supplying 50 watts.

Ok so this diagram might be confusing me. In cablez pic the end of his connector is the one to the left. In my pic its the connector to the right, which is the connector I'm currently using to plug into my gpu's.

Cablez I have a lepa 1600watt supply and I noticed the cables that you design doesnt seem to be able to fit in my psu. Do I have to buy a different psu to use your cables or get some sort of adapter? Heres how the back of my psu looks.

Your psu should have PCI-E cables that plug into the PSU. Cablez's cable should be the female side the your PSU cable plugs into.

ok so basically im just going to plug my 6+2-pin PCI-Express connectors into his cable? Thanks man this is starting to make sense now lol

Here are the base type cables that I currently make:

These cables are 32" long with 2.5/5.5mm center +ve barrel plugs at a pitch of 8" for BFL single spacing.

For my needs I have used an EPS12V and a direct to PSU PCIE connector (for simpler cable management).

I can easily change the: pitch -> distance between barrel plugs
connector type -> EPS12V, PCIE, 4 pin CPU, even direct to PSU connections (with a properly supplied pinout)
length -> depending on your application
wire thickness -> 18AWG is standard but also have 16AWG for longer runs or BFLs
sleeving -> I find it aids in cable management (buyers choice)

can someone please answer this question for me...

so assume my psu has 4 PCEI connections and each connection with Cablez cable can only power 3 gridseeds and I have over 20 gridseeds - how do I power the other gridseeds once I've passed 12 - lots of power just going to waste.

You trying to do scrypt, btc, or both? Using scrypt only I wired 7 each on 2 PCIe cables and 6 on 1.

Can you show pictures please of the wires you made fully laid out. I bought the barrel connectors and I got 8 pin pcie connectors but idk how the end product should look
38  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LightningAsic usb miners based Gridseed GC3355 Tech Support Thread on: March 12, 2014, 12:03:34 AM
Has anyone used or tried the BFGminer for gridseed, that Nwoolls put up on github?  https://github.com/nwoolls/bfgminer/tree/feature/gridseed-support
I may give that a try today to see if I like it.

Is this running stable for you?
