221  Economy / Services / Re: PAY FOR INFORMATION - 600 BTC REWARD FOR IDENTITY OF HACKER on: January 27, 2013, 06:02:32 PM
thanks starsoccer for offering your help;-)

and also thanks for your clarification. Indeed the 600 btc is meant as total reward in case several hints in combination would lead to catch the guy.  It does NOT mean that when i receive 4 "small" hints that i pay 4 times 600 BTC = 2400 btc. Also, i do not pay the reward bitcions beforehand and especially not before i can see the information, like you proposed. Also not to an escrow service, It has to prove as useful first to catch the guy. But it is independent from the question if he later can actually pay back the stolen coins or not.

I have received really valuable hints so far from the admin from bitmarket.eu, from danny for the detailed block chain analysis with his tool(s) and also for personal info for the email address in this forum and i really hope these hints will help me further in this issue. But unless it is some totally new trace that gives me the hackers identity from A to Z the mentioned persons would get a good share of the reward.

An exception regarding pre-payment is of course when expenses are concerned. I am glad to pay for any expenses that search for information would cause (like data base access fees or whatever)
222  Economy / Services / Re: PAY FOR INFORMATION - 600 BTC REWARD FOR IDENTITY OF HACKER on: January 24, 2013, 10:43:04 AM
yes, the bitcoin world is small.... and despite of all the mess i am in with my losses on bitmarket and with the hack, this is still from some point of view funny....
223  Economy / Services / Re: PAY FOR INFORMATION - 600 BTC REWARD FOR IDENTITY OF HACKER on: January 23, 2013, 11:31:59 PM
the email address (and the IP) i got also from the bitmarket.eu database of users. Of course first idea i had was write an email to this address and ask directly, but of course he did not get an answer.

Ok thanks a lot, i will check this guy asap
224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: January 23, 2013, 11:24:12 PM
ok, just a short update from my side... the negotiations are continuing and are proceeding well,

but please stay realistic, an investment of 300.000 USD is simply utopic, even if 5 new investors would join. And: the bitcoin price is going up and up and the debts are increasing daily ;-)

It would look more like this: There is a small payout to start with and the major share would have to come mainly from future turnover/profits over years, but in any case i can promise it would be more together with than the default scenario where a payout of few cents per frozen coin could be expected.

But more information will follow hopefully in early February latest
225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP, BITCOINS STOLEN - REWARD 600 Bitcoins or equivalent in Euro on: January 23, 2013, 07:27:57 AM
yes, some data from bitmarket.eu also show that the addresses are used at least by the same computer
226  Economy / Services / Re: PAY FOR INFORMATION - 600 BTC REWARD FOR IDENTITY OF HACKER on: January 23, 2013, 07:26:15 AM
ok thank you so far, I will check the traces.

The connection between the keys came from bitmarket.eu data which should be sufficiently acceptable as proof before court.

But how accurate is this information? I mean is it SURE that the personal information posted above is PROVABLY connected to the email address? Or was ist just a name search? (I mean I could also easily create an email adress sam.ranking@gmail.com or whatever)

dear all,
i have received NEW important information in this issue

the hacker also owns the key 1AFs9GrQyPQpN5W73RzizcEap1CQ7whPZT and his "real" email address is sam.rankin@me.com
he used IP address 97.106.160.84
on 2012-10-05 at 20:51:51

he used to mine on deepbit, but they do not hand out any info about their users and do not answer to my mails.

ok a big stone is falling off my heart ;-)

I was maybe a bit overnervous, but a combination of frozen funds plus no replies makes me really nervous after what happened ;-)
230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paranoia I have not enaugh bitcoins collected yet. on: January 17, 2013, 07:18:46 AM
price will never again drop to 2 dollars, estimate 20 dollars in the near future based on speculation, userbase increase, more shops coming up plus mining difficulty increase.

When bitcoins rise too much there will be other cryptocurrencies coming up for "newcomers" while bitcoin will always stay the main reference
231  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: January 16, 2013, 05:43:40 PM
OK, so I also could not withdraw "new" coins. But this should be possible by now already, and if not it should be fixed asap, we are still negotiating about taking the site to a new owner and new concepts, lets hope that the site will not lose the remaining trust in the meantime

233  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: January 10, 2013, 09:02:55 AM
no, i think we all agree that solely from the "trading fee" concept it will not be possible ever to reimburse the debts.

The money needs to come somehow from advertising / product commissions or, what is actually my idea, from allowing bitmarket users to offer P2P services to each other via bitmarket. We are currently brainstorming on ideas, and also how the possible investments can be done and how we can put trust back into the site.

But also development of ideas would take time and please dont expect any quick results. Even when we get an investment sum of 20.000 euros or so it does not mean that the money would not be used to pay out frozen coins immediately

234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: January 03, 2013, 04:11:47 PM
yes, i can confirm that.

M4v3r owes me currently around 620 BTC which i cannot withdraw. Even though I do not think that I would ever see the money again, I am willing to invest up to another 10.000 euros into the site when this would help to find a good solution for everyone.

I am also willing to run the website on "neutral ground" and i am also offering my company "Bitcoin action center" located in Finland (http://www.yritystele.fi/node/763919) for this purpose. This company so far only exists on paper to save the VAT from my eletricity and internet costs for my mining, but the scope could be extended basically over night.

In addition i would also be willing to help with user support, like mitigating conflicts between users etc., But since i have a full time job and a little daughter I cannot do all this alone.

My concept would look in principle like this:

The site is removed from M4v3r but be run by a trustworthy neutral provider consisting of 2-3 independent and trustworthy investors.
The company would need some real (Bitcoin) capital that guarantuees for all user funds all the time.

Instead of simply continuing trading with a small fee I would also negotiate with some sponsors if they would be willing to provide bitcoins for each sale that will be promoted via the bitmarket.eu site. Since the site has around 38.000 users i might convince some companies.
I have already contact to one wine producer who is willing to pay 0.1 BTC for each sold bottle and i am also in contact with a guy in munich that would also donate a specific amount of his turnover. After my holiday i would also negotiate with some local dealers in Finland that accept bitcoin (some are listed on www.bittiraha.fi)

But so far this is only theory, i described what I can offer, I hope we can find a solution at some point.

235  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: December 29, 2012, 03:21:04 PM
I wouldnt see it so negatively,

of course the donation plan did not work.

But nevertheless, the site has some potential because
a) we now have some (negative) attention
b) the site has a quite good user base i assume

As far as i am concerned, I am personally willing to invest into the site, but i would like to see a plan :-)
236  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: December 29, 2012, 02:23:06 PM
ok, is there now any plan how the admin (or whoever) plans to proceed in this issue? Is there someone out there who plans to

a) Invest into the site
b) do legal action(s) against the admin?

Or what other options do you see?
237  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: December 24, 2012, 09:14:18 AM
you should come up with a VERY GOOD plan to solve the situation quite soon. Do not dissappoint your creditors  a second time, my motivation to simply put you into jail goes up every day the more it comes out on how long yiu lied about the situation
238  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: December 22, 2012, 11:24:18 AM
Pay back 260.000 dollars in 3 years?Huh Thats impossible with "normal" work. even if you earn 150.000 dollars a year, (which is already quite much in poland i assume) you will have to pay taxes and social security first and you also need to pay for rent and food.

Actually the most annoying part for me is, that i went into the bitcoin system because the "bank run" problem is not existing, and now this guy is speculating with users funds more than any normal bank from the corrupt banking system ever would have dared... Lol

I have sent the admin some ideas and i am also willing to invest into his site, but 260.000 USD, thats simply impossible to "earn" back.
239  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: December 21, 2012, 02:58:20 PM
Just from my previous experience from the site...and after reading his answer here in the forum, I am (still) quite sure he is an honest guy and i believe him when he says that he really tried his best to prevent damage from the users. Of course i am totally pissed off that he obviously left us behind in the dark for quite some time. He could have simply closed the site without coming back via the forum and not keep the trading ongoing.

Anyway, I agreed to have a skype call with him this evening, going to court is always an annoying thing, i would rather be happy to invest the missing 20.000 euro or 1800 bitcoin into that site so everybody can get his money back and implement some good ideas instead of going through a long court proceeding where i would see the money back in 2 or 3 years.

I think it is not enough to simply continue as before and charge 0.5% on every trade, there should be something more innovative like a real forex service where you can for example change bitcoin to foreign currencies at low costs (but i have no idea on how this could work in practice) or ehm yeah, i dont know yet.

If you have any good ideas for the site that could convince me for investing into that site, please let me know your thoughts.

240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - ownership changed (in a way) on: December 21, 2012, 10:26:09 AM
when 1800 coins are currently pending (and 620 or so are mine anyway), thats roughly around 20000 euro....  This is not such a huge sum (in comparison to what is with bitconia etc. lost) and i might be willing to invest under certain conditions.

I will send you a PM
