1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢 [ANN]|SINOVATE(SIN) |X25X|∞InfinityNodes🔥| I.D.S | Decentralized Cloud 3.0 | on: October 28, 2020, 04:24:18 PM
- No forking or copying of other projects only Bitcoin codebase
- No  ICO or fundraising
- No Pre-Mine
- Almost 1500 unique github commits in less than 2 years
- Very active community and team
- Many innovations already presented to the crypto space such as x22i and x25x algos(couple of other crypto projects currently using it), Infinity Nodes, Deterministic Infinity Nodes 1.0 (D.I.N.) and many more innovations to come in the future. I.D.S. dCloud, SIN messenger, Blockchain E-Mail DataSend and DataStore, Infinite Chain.

I love the way it sounds! Perhaps this project can be really something serious.

Don't even think about it until they return to KuCoin or take DO to any decent exchange, besides staff made it clear: this is not investment project.

I thought about buying some more Onion in my portfolio, but the fact that the coin is not represented on some more or less serious exchanges worries me.

Guys, do you think there are any chances for this Onion coin to see the price tag of $ 1 in the near future? Are there any events that could favorably affect the price? Should I buy this coin now?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 06, 2020, 11:59:40 AM
There is news regarding the swap of the XEM coin to the Symbol coin. Can anyone suggest whether you need to register somewhere for this?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 06, 2020, 11:50:29 AM

Not possible I think Bitcoin will always be the main currency. ETH was doing good breaking past 400 so quickly but, as soon as BTC got dumped (about $1000) ETH too fell sharply with bitcoin.

Of course, Bitcoin will still have to keep its leading position. But sooner or later, it will be replaced by a new technological coin that will topple Bitcoin from the pedestal. Perhaps it will be Ethereum, or perhaps a completely new coin.

And yet, what about the promised mega anonymity? When is it planned to implement this in Onion?
I would like to understand the prospects of this DeepOnion coin. Is it worth investing in it now? At what stage is the development now.
DeepOnion is anonymous since day 1. Transaction privacy is already implemented and DeepSend transactions are live on main net. DeepSend leaves no hard evidence between the buyer and the seller. DeepSend phase 2 is in the planning. Segwit should go live around January 2021. Check the latest newsletter for more:
https://deeponion.org/newsletter/54.html

It's good that the developers haven't given up on developing the coin. And it's good that the functions are implemented. But why doesn't this affect the value of the Onion coin in any way? Isn't all these innovations needed by anyone?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: August 20, 2020, 08:19:58 AM
Hey, i'm sure this project is great for the paranoid and drug dealers and the like. Drug dealers need some love too. Just wondering what the appeal is to the larger crowds out there that are not selling stuff on the "darkweb". Give me some solid reasons why anyone should invest in GRIN, I don't really see it for most real life crypto case users.

You talk as if ordinary users don't need anonymity functions. For example, I don't want someone to know how much cryptocurrency I have and to whom I make payments. I actively use ETH and it is not possible to hide it there. It is not comfortable.

I remember that the developers of this Onion coin promised to implement a very cool advanced feature that will provide a higher degree of anonymity than Monero. Is this technology implemented today?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: August 19, 2020, 07:50:13 AM
Cardano looks like one of the most promising altcoins out there. Although I prefer Bitcoin. When does the ADA staking opportunity start?

It already started. Check out here: https://forum.cardano.org/t/the-shelley-hard-fork-all-you-need-to-know/36553

Thanks for the link. I will definitely use that forum.cardano.

I have a feeling that Ethereum is the main cryptocurrency today and not Bitcoin? Is it possible that Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in capitalization? Has this ever happened?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTC2] Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: August 02, 2020, 04:29:09 AM
It has had both, but no bounty or airdrop going on.

What other forks of bitcoin keep giving out coins? I have only found one Bitcoin Ultimatum coin so far. I am very interested in getting some coins in my wallet. Is there a summary table of all the forks?
