Allow Onion Logins Bitfinex now offers a tor domain, https://bitfinex4ietak3t.onion/. you can enable this option if you wish to allow logins to your account on this domain. I am sure this is positivve news for us using same tech TOR I wonder if this means they will allow trades from users with an offline wallet - similar to a dExchange. Would this also mean they aren't bothering with gathering all the KYC documentation? Dear pjhom and dear the-doctor I am new to this forum and especially in the field of blockchain in general. I try with the little time and leisure that I have to educate myself .. I just read your conversation and I confess that I did not understand anything. I think regulations are necessary.
The anonymity of crypto currencies can be and is abused.
There is money laundering, tax evasion and scamming people for their money when they invest in fishy ICOs.
All of that I consider to be anti social.
If a government finds a way to prevent this and if that way does not end up in too much surveillance, I would support it.
If that is the reason then everything should be regulated, because everything can be abused. Regulate cash money, internet, news, social media, etc. I think it's not a question if, but the question is when they want to regulate. So many signs that they want to regulate it. It's just getting too big for something they can't control. |

Yeah, I read that and it quite caught my eye that many of these social media companies and owners don't exactly understand the principles behind an evolving and fast pace technologically driven market like the cryptocurrency. There isn't a bubble anywhere.
To be honest I do not believe that a company like Facebook does not understand exactly what cryptocurrencies are like. Maybe they do it because they understand it too well and they see it as a treath. |

I know it's not impossible for the coin to bounce back, but it might not recover at all as well. I see very little realization of that fact in this thread while it is a very possible scenario.
Jeez stop the FUD mate, it can take some time for bitcoin and alts to recover, the bitcoin skyrocketed too fast + all the FUD around China, India, and Korea caused this. Crypto market is not a place for weak hands.  I understand that. but I also understand that the chances of this coin or the bitcoin for that matter, to never recover are also very real. don't get emotinal about it, otherwise it will not end well. keep a level head. Offcourse that change is there. But in my opinion that change is very slim. More and more people will get internet all over te world. More and more apps and other things are getting build. More and more people spend more and more time online. More and more people know about crypto currencies. More and more it get's easier to use crypto currencies in daily life. More and more people get aware of the downside(s) of fiat/centralized currencies. Conclusion: More change that in the long run crypto currencies will become bigger. |

Say the world worst support worst coin and the most scam that can happen to you ,
I purchased their coin in the first week of the ICO and till date I got nothing .
I contact them dozen of time and they only replay 3 times asking for prof of BTC send and I did provide them every time with all the screenshot from every single blockchain and the tx ID with hundred of conformation and they replay to allow 7 days and they never come back to you .
Pure Scam and they are going no where , people will dump their shitty coin as soon as the hit the cheap exchange that can accept them and they will vanish as i see without even hitting the exchange or short after.
They even try to blackmail me to send them more BTC so they will release my coin manually on telegram and I agree if they will send me this in official email from tpay but they said sorry we cant do that because it is manual and when i send the screenshot to them they never replay just a group of scammer.
