21  Other / Meta / Re: I dont understand what Posts are allowed in the Off-Topic Forum what is allowed? on: September 29, 2019, 09:20:12 PM
I felt that dude however your question is answered already. Even on off topic thread which is the simpliest way to increase your post as a beginner (for me), they deleted unrealable post. I understand its quite frustrating when ur post is deleted on off topic like what now? I just answered a question? But what’s important ks it should relate to the OP. But dont feel bad about it, we all gone through that.
22  Other / Meta / Re: Stats question - Females in Bitcointalk? on: September 29, 2019, 09:03:43 PM
I wonder why you ask this question or why you need the data.  For sure not all joiner will disclose their gender since its optional or default when creating profile and that’s one way of privacy.
23  Other / Meta / Re: Should a post be deleted from poor grammar? on: September 29, 2019, 01:43:43 AM
For me its a huge factor for a quality post but as far as the post is connected with the original post , related and somehow understandable or constructive, it shouldn’t be deleted.  Just make sure that we try our best to hit the right grammar to avoid wasting our time posting wrong grammar. Try to waste time learning good grammar is a plus.
24  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Resources Para Matuto sa English Language on: September 26, 2019, 12:31:16 PM
Napaka general ng topic na to and yes helpful talaga.

“It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.”

So kung tamad ka magbasa, watching English movies will be the best.
25  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Paano kaya pag ma-hacked si Coins.Ph? on: September 26, 2019, 12:24:42 PM

I agree. Wala talaga tayong maitutulong dahil pag technical issues na ang usapan most of the time out of our control na talaga.

Sabi nga nila prevention is better than cure.
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Security] make your phone Secured on: September 24, 2019, 09:35:47 PM
Good point but i wanted to add one way to avoid  being scam.

- Don’t click on strange links

To be exact Phishing is one method of hackers and this has been around as long as we have internet.

What they do is to  send email as their trick to e-mail recipient into downloading the attachment (exposing their PC or phone to  the malware), or clicking the link to a website that may be infected with malware, or asks for confidential data and worst even enter and access your phone datas.

So we must be conscious on what links we ate clicking to secure privacy of datas.
27  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Investing on cryptocurrency is too hard for others on: September 23, 2019, 02:52:37 PM
I agree sa picture kabayan but for me its not specifically for cryptocurrency. That image is more on the general concept however may point ka naman.

So in general, Una for me lack of knowledge and awareness ang nakakapagpahirap on investing sa crypo. Bakit? Well in fact, hindi naman.

Pangalawa, Takot, takot mag take ng risk. Tanggalin dapat yung idea na pag nag invest, dapat babalik agad o dodoble pera. Walang ganun kung walang courage and determination, trading is not for you. Kailangan strong dito, pag nalugi babawi.

Therefore, maging knowledgeable, have perseverance  at risk taker when it comes to crypo investing.
Wag pilitin para may mapost lang but it’s BEST kung magre search muna about the topic para for sure na may sense, related sa OP at may constructive contribution sa thread.

Mahalaga talagang magresearch para madami kang alam at para madami kang quality post diba.
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do people lose money in the crypto market? on: September 19, 2019, 12:33:26 PM
Of course its the lack of knowledge on cryptocurrency is the most possible reason why people lose money. If you only just get excited that someone you knew earn as much as money here that’s why you joined then you need to think twice since this is an investment that we need to take/think seriously and put much effort to earn.
30  Other / Meta / Re: How can we protect Newbies from getting scammed? on: September 18, 2019, 12:59:15 PM
Scenario
Someone has a problem with a wallet, comes to Bitcointalk, creates an account, asks a question, and gets a solution. Great! A happy new user for the forum, and another happy Bitcoin user, which adds to Bitcoin's popularity.

Reality (2 days ago)
Someone has a problem with a wallet, comes to Bitcointalk, creates an account, asks a question, gets "help" by PM from someone who asks him to enter some code into Electrum, enter his password (and I quote: "(NEVER share this password with anybody)"), and gets scammed out of $30,000.
Another clueless naive new user bites the dust, the forum loses a new user, and Bitcoin loses a potential user forever.

How can we prevent this? Wallets aren't always easy, not all Bitcoin users are tech savvy, scammers are smart and creative, and if we want Bitcoin(talk) to grow in the right direction, these things kinda just shouldn't happen at all. I know that's utopia, and we can't prevent all scams from happening, but we could do more than this, right?
What would work? Disable receiving PMs? If they can't PM, they'll post their email address so that doesn't help.
More warnings for new users? A warning PM for every few first posts they make?

I'm not sure if this topic is going to help, but I had to get it off my chest.

This topic is actually very helpful to newbies however we need to face facts that we, ourselves are the one who can only  protect or save us from scammers. In the first place, when we join bitcoin we are already starting to take the risk. We need to bear in mind that there are numbers that can be scammers so we should be conscious and should mind over matter always. Dont be driven with excitement or emotions rather think before we click. Read and then ask but dont take answer as a yes always.

Remember it on us as always. As the saying goes, trust no one!
31  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Other sections for this forum? on: September 18, 2019, 12:32:17 PM
That seems like too many to start with. I'm not sure how popular this board is going to be. Maybe pick four of those.

-Marketplace
-beginners and help
-trading
-off topic

Based on my observation in our thread, that is the most boards that will be used

Ok JumperX and everyone else. Pick one, and then we will pick the top 2. Or you can nominate "Others" and post here what you think.

32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accepted or Rejected on bounty spreadsheet on: September 17, 2019, 02:14:34 PM
Wait for few more days to see your name on the spreadhseet because most of the bounty managers are very lazy ad also they have huge work to do for every week.

But if you didn't see your name after a week from now then they don't deserve anybody to be there.

Oh okay understood! Thanks for your answer as its getting on my nerves already. Patience is the key as they say.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accepted or Rejected on bounty spreadsheet on: September 17, 2019, 02:10:56 PM
While posting images, you should include the extension (.png, .jpg) on the link but in this case, it won't work because you're posting a gallery (multiple images). It also appears that you have deleted what you have uploaded when I visit the link.

That aside, If you're referring to Orionix (I've checked your post history) then the spreadsheet doesn't say whether you're accepted or rejected which probably means that the campaign manager forgot to update it. I would suggest you contact him at the Telegram he posted on the campaign thread.

Awesome!! I appreciate your immediate response. I almost forgot the use of telegram lol.  And thanks for the notice on posting images, i actually edited it as the first time didnt work but will take note your advice. You’re very helpful. Thanks!!

36  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May tax ba ang Cryptocurrency? on: September 17, 2019, 02:01:33 AM

I mean tax evasion.
Share your thoughts and experiences, hirap kasi na parang ilegal tong ginagawa natin dahil wala naman talagang batas ukol dito

Tingin ko depende sayo kung ifi-file mo pero if under ka ng isang crypto company or may employer matic may tax sa payroll pero since karamihan dito is independent i dont think matetrace nila  isa isa pero habang wala pang confirmed tax law sa crypto  hayaan na lang natin at ienjoy mga earnings without deduction of tax diba and by the time na may violation na tyo without knowing, madami naman tayo besides wala nmn tlga declared law in the first place.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Merits to you? on: September 16, 2019, 03:24:15 PM
I forsee merit as a reward that someone noticed your post and you contributes  somehow. I couldn’t agree more  to users sayin its no big deal but no offense for me it kinda measures how much quality and impacting your post are.

I know for sure most of us was thrilled on merits from the very first start and the fact that the more merits, the higher ranking or stats right?

Its just that users have to spend merits wisely and its not a bad thing to  add some shine on our profile tbh *laugh*
38  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will you use a Facebook coin? on: September 16, 2019, 03:06:25 PM
My attitude is - no way!!

I don't use Facebook, and I don't like their lack of privacy and security. They seem to be talking about pegging the coin to a bunch of fiat currencies, and that is another big disincentive for me. I suspect we will start to see some government or banking based cryptos, and I'll probably end up using a couple of those alongside Bitcoin.

Truest! I suspect the reason behind this is that Facebook has more than 30% of the entire world’s population or 2.38 billion people as its users so they added crypto as its the most outgrown way of earning right?

But still the answer is NO. I will not take the risk using facebook coin as its way different.

I’ve heardy they are also  planning to install ATM-like terminals for people to manage their  coins while out and about. Honestly ita quite enticing but nowadays i dont feel facebook anymore as there’s a lot of security issues happening on that site.

39  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Who Controls your Crypto Funds after Death? on: September 16, 2019, 03:05:07 PM
It’s a tough question tho since i have a lot of trustees lol but its gonna be a challenge of course by the time of my death I’ve got more than billions already so the luckiest who will control my crypto fund will be one of my relatives who knew the best of me.

I’ll be staring to note down my journey, how did i  started and to the point on how to get my account in a scribbled way. I’m getting excited whil imagining this omg.

This would be some sort of journey and will make sure that the one who will control my funds is gonna be challenged first before getting my funds coz that’s how it started and should be ended by me.
