Getting close to 50% of the daily volume on ISX. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/auroracoin/#markets

It's picking up nicely.

I think it will dwarf the volume on bittrex soon.

How do I become a citizen of Iceland? ;-)

Here you go molecular

http://utl.is/index.php/en/icelandic-citizenship

So, you have to live in icland for 7 years and right after that you can start to trade on isx.is!)

Back in the old bitcoin days, I loved this video:

Maybe this is a bit more appropriate for Iceland;)

Switched to Bittrex as well but about a week ago I sold some leftover coins I had on Cryptsy and bought some AUR and it took me 7 withdrawal attempts to get all the AUR out as I would only get 6-900 coins in each withdrawal. I guess you only get what is in their hot wallet at each time which is a percentage (my guess 5-15%) of what they have in total. So that you are only getting 200-300 coins in each withdrawal means that Cryptsy has very little Auroracoins left. People are moving to Bittrex.

This is a cryptsy address... Cryptsy has in fact very little coins left  Grin

Although it has been speculated on many times that Cryptsy would go Gox (for years now), they are still here and seem to keep providing their service. The trouble, however is that the deposits and withdrawals seem to get harder and harder all the time.

So yes, I would also advise to take caution with Cryptsy for now and not leave more than 1BTC in value on there. Bittrex.com is picking up volume fast now, a good alternative if you ask me!

Very diplomatic language LTEX. When "providing their service" means to you: "taking double fee", because of sending only halve the amount of coins the customer asked for, transfering only 80% of the coins they substract from your cryptsy balance and these to thefts combined with a customer support that never gives you a clear answer or a refund, then you are 100% right, this is exactly how to discribe what "providing their service" contains at cryptsy.

I have paid fees only for the amount which I received.  The only thing is that I was not able to use my withdrawal- tickets properly.)

I'm still withdrawing from cryptsy. The possible chunks are even smaller now! 5k chunks are now too large.

strange transactions:

(click for link to block if image broken, imgur troubles?)

there are loads of these happening in recent blocks (roughly 118455 until now).

any ideas what these are?

looks like someone is collecting 0.0001 AUR repeatedly from a faucet or something.

seems funds are collected here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/aur/address.dws?AKuy6EURgcwwEQc1c8oMiZC78yhQQpboqP.htm

Months ago I saw something similar in the cryptsy orderbook. I thought it would be some kind of trading script.

They got now the right amount of Aur at coinmarketcap.com and Aurora is now ranked 50th!

But sooner or later the coins will flow back to Iceland. If the project is successful, the big iclandic Bitcoin miner will invest also in aur, to spend there income in iceland. And I think there are also big holder in Iceland!

Hi Jungs,
