1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2018, 10:29:13 PM

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FLiK on: January 26, 2018, 01:32:03 PM

The value Flik coin will double in the following days. The proper way to assess the new purchase opportunity is to look at the price on Coinexchange.io . It is still very low.

With new exchanges it will be great . The value of the coin will to makes a great jump in price. I expect 300-400% increase.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: January 26, 2018, 04:40:52 AM
.. Investing in anything always needs to be looked at in the long term, this is still a very new market hence the volatility.  And ICO's are just pulling out of that frenzy where scams and such were so common. So sit back, wait, and invest in things that have a future as an actual long term enterprise.  Keeping a clear head in the middle of all this turmoil is the key to coming out in 1, 5, 10 years ahead of everyone else.  The market wont die, but the shady parts of it will and it will emerge stronger.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 25, 2018, 11:25:37 PM

I believe its not possible, the bank are way to effective and they will never allow this occur at any time, they financial institution is also hating the bitcoin so they will never ever happen for that cause also. Even though its not impossible of program but if it can occur it will nonetheless consider calendar year prior to this is even attainable.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: January 08, 2018, 09:43:05 PM

Invest when the price is down and sell when the price pumps.  That's the way daily investment deals with you can profit on it and in the same time you will know how the thing works.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 09:33:47 PM
It’s made for our generation. What i mean by that is bitcoin is made for the Internet-generation. We are quickly moving past the days of carrying around paper cash or pulling out your credit card. Bitcoin goes several steps further than the convenience of credit cards by equipping users with a payment option that is significantly lower in fees, provides virtually instantaneous transaction time, and is accessible through the dozens of bitcoin wallets.

Another one is Bitcoin provides financial freedom.

If you don’t have access to a bank account, you are part of the “unbanked.” Bitcoin can allow you to be your own bank. Bitcoin is simultaneously an open financial protocol and a currency required in order to transact freely on the protocol..
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC on: May 25, 2017, 09:12:24 PM
Coinbase actually aren't like a normal exchange in that they don't have different prices for buying and selling.  They seem to cover the difference themselves somehow, and they have very high fees (1.49% as they show here).

Quote
I would say that Coinbase has different price for bying and selling. May be I do not understand you correctly, but this is in Coinbase how they get some profit.

Bitstamp's fees get progressively less the more you trade and are detailed here.

Coinbase's website and their services have been experiencing some downtime recently, so personally I would feel better on Bitstamp.

Quote
If you want to pay with credit card I would suggest Coinbase, it`s instantly quick. Bitstamp credit card payment takes longer (you need to register at provider of payment processor) and there is high fee.
In opposite Bitstamp is better for trading when you have money there.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much do you trade with? and feel comfortable with exchange holding on: May 24, 2017, 07:58:45 PM
Just wondering how much bitcoin you feel comfortable with an exchange holding while you trade. I'm not asking anyone and wouldn't recommend anyone detailing in the thread their finances.

I found that amount I am trading comfortably is changing as I got some experience with trading. As price of Bitcoin is rising now I am usualy trading with 0.5 - 1 BTC.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as the currency of the future? on: May 05, 2017, 08:30:30 PM
Bitcoin as great and first IDEA of cryptocurrency will be the future currency for sure.

I am in doubt when see how Bitcoin is accepted and how people are using Bitcoin daily. This is not a way hw currency is used. Bitcoin is kept because of value and possible price increase. I do not think this way can Bitcoin be currency of the future.

17  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How to avoid VAT when buying inside EU ? on: December 29, 2016, 07:28:56 PM
Hi,

Sorry if this isn't the right board, couldn't quite decide where to put it.

I'm interested in buying the R4 (new batch tomorrow 07:00GMT) but I'm wondering if there is a way to not pay 20% VAT + import taxes ?

Cheers,
Q.

When you import to EU for personal usage then you can't avoid to pay VAT.
When you import for business you can deduct VAT later. This is only way how you can avoid it to my undrestanding.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: December 26, 2016, 05:59:38 PM
To those above saying Primedice is safe, that's bullshit.

I got my funds stolen before they were even in my balance. I'm not going to say how much but it was all my money, over 10BTC.

The staff did not help me at all, in fact they were ignoring me and I got banned on-site.

Pretty fucked up if you ask me. Then I got blamed for using a "script" while I've never touched one, nor any malware as I'm secure on my PC. I never use bots, I always go manual and anyone who knows me from other sites knows that.

Hard to believe that. Do you have any proof for what are you saying?
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rally! Keep hold your coins! watch that chart 1200$ soon. on: December 26, 2016, 04:06:32 PM
In my opinion this is too optimistic view. Such statement will be better to place on some other place then Bitocintalk, we do not need to advertise Bitcoin and push price up  Wink.
But I agree it will be good to reach $1200.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: December 26, 2016, 08:09:03 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

You just discovered one face of Bitcoin. That face is most visibile because of some attractivity for sure and it's investing/speculation. Many people are speculating on Bitcoin price increase, Bitcoin is known because of high volatilility. It's high risk speculation.
Bitcoin can give you some kind of freedom and anonymity. This can be benefit for someone who wants to do a gambling for example. It's much easier to gamble using bitcoin.

But there another side of Bitcoin and it's real currency. Use it as currency daily business or life spending. Bitcoin is still not there, but it can happen we will reach that on day.
