1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RhomBit [RHOM] Great APR% *FREE* Bitcointalk Member Initial Distribution on: April 17, 2019, 05:43:37 AM
It looks like the mining reward has now increased to the next phase of 1 RHOM and the interest rate for staking has decreased to 2500% apr

Now's the time to mine Cheesy
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: April 17, 2019, 05:33:33 AM
There was a reason why the altcoin announcement, discussion and mining sections were created... they are not Bitcoin.

Read about the era's the altcoin scene has gone through and you will see most the comments in here are pretty accurate about taking something that works and adding it to something else to make it better.

Did everything as indicated in the video, but "Not staking because you don`t have mature coins" I can't understand why Huh

2 Hours is the minimum stake age but even you have mature coins its hard to stake and the current estimated time to hit a stake is far from reality..

I am running my wallet on a VPS for 6 days straight now and i have no clue why i never hit a single stake for those time.

Sounds like you guys needs more coins in your input compared to what is out there staking, the block explorers show there is regular staking happening but a lot more pow blocks.

The staking module of this coin does indeed look attractive, the only thing though for newer users is the distribution... we noobs all have to wait to mine enough to start staking, buy from another user under the table or wait for an exchange listing.

Will there be any additional airdrops or giveaways on Twitter or Discord for us non long-term members or people not part of these forums that interact on other platforms ?

Also what direction is this coin planning on heading in ?

I do see mention of games and multiplools (to buy back coins from the open market), with a limited initial supply and decreasing stake rate you could have a prime mover here for the gambling scene.

I will be watching to see how this goes, good luck.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: April 10, 2019, 09:19:05 AM
When you mine Litecoin you also merge mine DogeCoin (if you choose to) getting something for free while contributing to the one you support seems like a good collaboration.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: April 10, 2019, 09:11:36 AM
DOGE benefits from quick blocktimes along with being merge mined with LTC, transacting with DOGE is a no brainer for speed, since DogeCoin has an infinite coin cap and high reward it doesn't need PoS mechanics to survive since it has a vast community plus the inflation would be intense.

All in all DOGE is keeping everything much wow and many fun.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the new model of fundrising is IEO on: April 10, 2019, 09:00:05 AM
Yobit Exchange has been doing IEO coin listings for years, we all know how those turn out after a while.

Nothing new here except a centralized means of not being fucked over from more well known exchanges when a coin "wants" initial funding and tries a dump & run afterwards, Exchange KYC will play a role in coin devs wanting to go that direction and even then arms can be twisted if you know what I mean...
