Don't forget that there are people who are not aware of the competition and/or people that are not interested to join. What's important for them is to sell their holdings at a higher price that's why they took advantage of it and dump their holdings.

Those competitions were arrange not to make the price dump but to give the other investors specially the KCS Hodlers to gain some rewards or profits. Kucoin is doing these competitions and the other events to make the liquidity specially the price pump , not dump. Also, If you are not new into this you'll know that cryptocurrency market is known for its volatility. Even BTC is experiencing pumps and dumps so its pretty normal for KCS to be volatile too. Not surprising!
Iam not new on crypto currency that's why i know this type of news help to pump token/coins price. They know that everyone buy kcs after news. They play well dump kcs to small traders. That was preplaned. |

Once an announcement or some sort of news is out, price is bound to react by either mooning or dumping... Depending on how people react to the news. I have seen this because i have been trading for about 2 years now. It's up to you to think smart and know when to sell or buy. It's not like Kucoin forced anyone to buy or hold their tokens. I'm surprised that Kucoin has a thread here, Kucoin has been taking his business to a great new level, they have great security and support, I am not participating in their trading tournament, but they are not the only exchange, which has this kind of issue, it's every man for himself when it comes to trading contest, if there is a manipulation it comes with it.

Are you going to really blame Kucoin for the price dump? I have seen this kind of thing happen in so many other exchanges including Binance. Go check the CELR Token chart and see for yourself. I think it's simply because some smart chaps buy before the announcement is made, once it's made, In anticipation that there will be a FOMO lot rushing in to buy tokens even at a higher price, they dump the tokens on you late buyers.
