721  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I was scammed to invest and left with a watch only wallet on: April 26, 2023, 07:15:02 PM
I'm not sure if there's anything I can do but I invested allot (all I have) in "forex" and it turns out to be a scam. I was left with a 'watch only' wallet. Any advice?
Sorry to hear you lost your investment. But here you are not clear that you have lost money by investing in any website. Because if your accusations are not clear without adding all the important information then it will be difficult for the community members to understand what actually happened to you. So please add the screenshots if you have them here along with the link to the website. Because just saying forex doesn't mean how you got scammed.

With the market trending positive, the number of such projects coming to market has increased. Since many investors are now in the market, such projects are quickly created and marketed to crypto investors by explaining various things to them.
But the reality is that the project team does not have the ability to write an original white paper. Therefore, the purpose of creating such a project is to quickly launch it in the market to attract investors.

Why do we see so new scam projects popping up every day ? This is because most of the crypto investors are so dumb that they will not even care to investigate about the project.  Huh  Scammers know this very well and they keep on coming up with new projects every now and then, to get people's hard earn money from this immature market.
Because there are many investors in the crypto market who invest in such projects, because of their limited knowledge about such scams, they do not understand the purpose of such projects, which results in them being cheated after investing. The project team that cannot create a unique content, steal the content of other projects and launch their project in the market, then it is not right to expect anything better from them. So until crypto investors become aware of such scams, such projects will continue to hit the market.

Great catch! Unfortunately we come across hundreds new projects daily that attempt to raise funds from investors by manipulating their real goals, often through presale events or NFT sales then disappearing once they get what they wanted. It is crucial to check every detail carefully before investing any money in these ICO projects.

725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: April 19, 2023, 05:48:09 PM
I think so, now is the best time to buy, don't delay because the bull run is coming soon, if the bull run comes, of course we regret it, to get big profits, the best strategy is to buy when it's dipping like it is at this time.
Correct I also think that now is the right time to buy bitcoin prices are now low and will rise further in the future. Those who invest now will be more profitable bitcoin price rose 23 percent. Traders optimism about the US central bank's monetary policy has led to massive investment in the cryptocurrency, which will further increase its value even if you rise and fall don't be disappointed.

The optimism of a crypto trader will determine the results that will be obtained later, the profits that will be achieved will exceed their main capital if the trader has confidence and is optimistic when trading, especially trading in bitcoin, I think this is the right step for get maximum results if you are able to be patient until bitcoin gets its ATH
Although traders are optimistic, many times they can't be patient due to which they don't get maximum results. Optimism is important in making any investment but unexpected market movements can shatter that optimistic thinking, so traders need to keep an eye on market conditions. More important than achieving Bitcoin price ATH, is how an investor manages his position because if his strategy is not effective, he will not get his expected results.
726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading have concepts on: April 19, 2023, 03:51:52 PM
Previous experience or mistakes in trading, I think we should make it a lesson and evaluation material so that in the future it won't happen again,
besides that we also need to know when to sell or buy because if greedy then it will make a loss,
keep practicing for emotional control however it is important in trading.
Controlling emotions is the most difficult task in trading, most traders fail here. As a result, it becomes difficult for traders to succeed in trading. Just as it is not possible to buy at a low point, it is also not possible to sell at a high point because we do not know exactly what the next movement of the market will be. So all decisions are based on assumptions, which makes it natural for traders to make wrong decisions if they are overly greedy. So a trader who controls emotions can make better decisions than others during trading.
727  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 19, 2023, 12:23:47 PM
-snip-
Every casino has their own rules, it is important to know the casino well before you join. Document clarity is important for doing KYC, it is common. So you have to follow all the requirements to complete the kyc process, because you cannot go beyond their rules. A casino looks good until someone runs into a problem. So before joining any casino it is important to read T&C of that casino well to avoid any problem.
What is often a problem now is that many gamblers, especially those who are still beginners, forget the rules or regulations made by the casino, so they often get into trouble due to a lack of knowledge and understanding of all the existing rules.
Even though it is clear that casinos have Tos and FAQs to inform rules and conditions for gamblers who will join the casino.

Things like this should be a concern for most gamblers, especially about the KYC verification rules, which in my opinion are not liked by many gamblers.
It is better to be a wise gambler and obey the rules of the casino so as not to get into trouble in the future.
But most of newbies are not reading TOS since they think that its more convenient for them if they just shortcut things and directly play on the casino. They didn't realize that its really bad action done because they will not aware the risk on many things especially the rules posted by casino which they can possibly violate. Its really good to be a wise gambler but to come on this situation most of the people should experience bad things before they take those situations seriously.
Even not newbies doesn't read but I think I know that they filter out what they want to know on the TOS. These days it's really a necessity to be wise at all times, even new casinos will try to trick you that they are super legit then just changes TOS or other things without notifying the users of their site.

Casinos always get a bit more advantage because gamblers don't read the T&C and can make various excuses for gamblers. Not only gamblers, people create accounts without reading and agreeing to TOS before creating different accounts online. As a result, they become busy looking for the fault of that website if they suffer any problem later. So while finding a trusted casino, it is also important to be aware of the rules of that casino.

I was asking about sports betting.

And about verification, well sometimes offices arrange verification for months, for example, they ask for different documents, may ask for these documents to be notarized. and may ask for such documents at some time during the months.

They may also ask for different photos. To reject the quality of the photo, even if it is of good quality.

And so on. In short, do everything so that you do not want to put them.
Every casino has their own rules, it is important to know the casino well before you join. Document clarity is important for doing KYC, it is common. So you have to follow all the requirements to complete the kyc process, because you cannot go beyond their rules. A casino looks good until someone runs into a problem. You may think that Facebook is not a good place, but still the number of Facebook users is huge. So still a lot of awareness is needed to keep everyone safe from such traps.
~snip~

FB is not a bad platform in the full sense, but it has largely contributed to the fact that people spend more time online than they should spend in the real world, which has serious consequences for the psychological development of young people. They are actually easy targets for such ads because their lives are actually online, and they believe everything they see on their screen.
In the minds of many, all the negative aspects of Facebook have entered. As a result, they always see bad things in Facebook activities.

Facebook ads are currently getting a lot of scams, phishing ads that are dangerous for common users. Because most of the Facebook users are not careful about such phishing scams, as a result of which these scammers are spending money on advertising and targeting more and more normal users.
730  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit hold funds and ignore in chat on: April 18, 2023, 06:51:20 PM
Good afternoon. No one can invite representatives of rollbit to the topic? I'm just wondering what they'll say when they set up a video conference and then ignore it
Rollbit representative has already replied in this thread and they are following their process to solve your problem. If they take your time, you can wait patiently to follow the next step. If you keep in touch with them you will know how long it will take to resolve your problem. And Rollbit's representative is offline in this forum, so he needs to come online to report the current status of your problem.
731  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my expirience on site Trustdice.com SCAM on: April 18, 2023, 06:22:20 PM
i already asnwered, that if they want to see passport, make another video call. But they ddo not want to make another call. They say that i need to find "plausible explanation" why i do not had passport.

TrustDice is scam casino

What is the specific reason why they don't want to make another video call? And the first time you were scheduled for a video call, what was the specific reason why you missed it? Because even after giving you time you missed it, and that's why they are not giving you time for video call for the second time. So my advice is to keep in touch with their support team and tell them to allow the video call a second time.

Sponsored. This one word is enough to keep me away from it. Also, Facebook is trash.
You may think that Facebook is not a good place, but still the number of Facebook users is huge. So still a lot of awareness is needed to keep everyone safe from such traps. Most of the Facebook users still don't have any knowledge about such scams, so these kinds of ads are constantly being found on Facebook and people are sharing their personal information. Crypto users should be more careful to protect their personal information.
733  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: April 17, 2023, 05:38:24 PM
Do i have to prove i'm innocent or does the casino have to prove i'm guilty? And please search for yourself, every good sportsbettor gets limited in all the casinos except pinnacle.
Casinos are becoming very strict now and harassing their customers when they find something suspicious. Which is really becoming a worry for gamblers now. Many casinos now resort to blocking gamblers' accounts without any prior notice. Which is really scary situation. Because every time the casinos target the gamblers, they write their one-sided charges, which makes it difficult to understand who is guilty and who is innocent.
That's why it's important to research first which casino is the best to serve its users well, I followed this thread and didn't look for right and wrong it's back to judging each one, so I'm not going to side with anyone but this will be a lesson for all of us not to play unfairly as alleged by the casino or to play at a casino that cheats also takes user money in a dirty way and for many reasons that make no sense and are not transparent.

But back to gamblers where they should be playing, don't be tempted by bonuses and appearances especially just because you see a campaign on this forum to make sure that the casino is safe, look for casinos that are truly trusted on this forum and also have positive feedback from the community, play casino safely and without any disappointing cases like this and that many in this forum.

Gamblers are as serious about finding bonuses as they are not interested in researching whether the casino is trustworthy or not. Many times they don't even think twice to create multiple accounts in order to get more offers and bonuses of any casino. So they violate the casino's policy by creating multiple accounts, and as a result they face various problems.

So the gamblers have to be more careful in choosing the casino, because all the casinos keep marketing that their casino is the best, to attract the gamblers.
734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Crypto users' data is stolen in the name of Ledger IPO's whitelist.. on: April 15, 2023, 07:23:15 PM
They are still running this campaign to steal the data of their targeted crypto users. So it is easy to understand that they are running Facebook ads and spending money targeting their targeted crypto users. Which means, they spend money advertising to steal data from their prospective crypto users.

735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Crypto users' data is stolen in the name of Ledger IPO's whitelist.. on: April 12, 2023, 08:51:19 PM
They are collecting important information like name, email, phone number of crypto users.
I hope no one got trapped by filling up that phone number and email. I have experienced got trap by filling up unknown form like this in past, and almost getting scammed and receiving calls from a scammer. I really sure You really will be confused if receive call, and they know all the data like real name and email, so unknowingly have been deceived by entering OTP number to scammeer.
It is difficult to know if someone has shared their personal information on this link. People wait to catch the best opportunity first, which leads to scammers getting the data they expect from crypto users. They are collecting information like mobile numbers which can be used for nefarious purposes later, but many crypto users may not know how important their personal information is. So I think scammers have managed to steal the data of many new crypto users by doing this campaign.
736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam csgo500.com banned account with 1000$ on: April 12, 2023, 07:41:41 PM
i always have wondered why casino/poker sites  only ask for verification after you want to make your whitdrawal   and not before making your first deposit ? makes no sense   what is the reason for this?

it's a bit shady on part of casino/poker site because they know that there will always be people  faking their docs or don't want to send them their id or other docs needed

so they just can keep these deposits for themself

smart move

Casinos can ask kyc if a gambler looks suspicious. Read their T&C carefully before you create an account to understand that you may face problems at any time. It is true that these activities of casinos often harass gamblers and keep their funds in the casino. But always gamblers also do a lot of bad activities due to which they face such problems when they are caught.
737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 12, 2023, 05:54:58 PM
It will be a good idea to be buying Btc little by little and keeping it.You should invest the little you have after deducting all your needs from the salary nobody know when the bulls will return so it will be a wise things to only invest what you can afford to lose,It is one of the golden rule of investment.
In making any investment, the investor has to look at future prospects. Buying and storing bitcoins from a portion of salary is definitely good strategy. If you buy Bitcoin with a long-term investment in mind, you don't have to worry about when the bull market will start. Because there is no doubt that Bitcoin will do big in the market in the long run. So those interested in investing with long-term holding thoughts regularly use their extra money to buy bitcoins to strengthen their positions.
738  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bybit P2P Exchange Scam Modus on: April 12, 2023, 02:56:31 PM
You're smart enough not to fall victim to a scam by sending funds to a scammer. The safest way is to check the balance without depending on the message. Such scams are common in P2P if you are not dealing with a reputable trader. Now you should report this user to Bybit so that he doesn't have the opportunity to do this kind of activity in the future and that no other crypto users fall victim to this scammer.
739  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: April 11, 2023, 11:48:16 PM
I don't think the gambling site that claimed to be a web 3.0 gambling website misunderstands the concept of Web 3.0. I believe they only apply web 3.0 just to gain more traffic while they only focus on the cryptocurrency and individual non-custodial wallet use on their platform while they ignore the control of personal data and decentralization.
Any company tries to show a little more about their company in their marketing to get traffic. Use the trending news to attract gamblers to what is currently trending in the market. Nowadays, many casinos claim that their websites are Web 3:0, but in reality they are not completely sure of their claims. So it falls into misrepresentation to register gamblers in any casino by marketing with false claims.
I don't think it was actually that they are not sure about their claims. Web 3.0 is something a cryptocurrency newbie can understand just by doing something research, the goal of the casino that guilt of fake claims is to drive more traffic in a shady way.
Newbies are not interested in researching something new, so they get interested in something when they see it even without knowing details about it. As a result, the various projects believe that what they claim is true, they get the traffic they expect. So marketing with such fake claims will continue and they will also bring traffic to their website.
You are absolutely correct. I believe 80% of all newbies are not interested in doing some research about the fundamental concept of Web 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0. There's no one to be blamed for the naive and this is the exact reason a shady casino that was tagged on this forum still manages to lure the new victim that didn't do some research about the casino before using it.

When a trend in the market has good potential to attract more customers, the casino will give more importance to that way of marketing. Nowadays it seems that many casinos claim a lot during promotions, but the real experience comes after making an account at that casino and making a deposit. So newbies should be more interested in learning, so that no company can mislead them.
740  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SushiSwap Contract in Danger - Revoke Fast on: April 11, 2023, 11:25:53 PM
I thought these smart contracts where double checked and audited.
Their smart contracts has been audited by world top contract checker Certik and also Certik is the one who first aware of this exploit and tweeted about this in twitter. One contract exploit leads to all other. the hacker was smart enough to break security and got access to these contract despite of high security.
Yeah, T'was "authentically" audited years after it was published only to find out that there's a loophole, not to mention its a major one. Damn it.
One of the reasons why cryptocurrency is still in its early stage particularly, smart contracts.

Everything seems fine in crypto until something happens. This is happening all the time and people are losing their money. Neither project admits their failure, they're more interested in giving big explanations than saving their users money.

And most of these incidents happen through insiders, so now it is very important for all other users to be extra careful.
