1  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: is it possible to mine from 2 different GPUs? on: March 19, 2014, 11:14:39 PM
I think the question depends on the assumption that GPU's share workloads, which they do not.

Mining software works similar to the way that parallel computing clusters do whereby the software uses a small amount of the host's CPU resources to assign jobs to each GPU, each of which are handled by one GPU.

Thus, each CPU works one job at a time and the work of one job is not shared between the GPU's.

This is why it doesn't matter if your GPU's are in Crossfire or SLI configuration (or not). The software addresses the GPU's directly.

You could have as many different GPU's as your motherboard can support all running under one instance of, say, Diablominer.

So say I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 and I want to buy a PowerColor Radeon HD 7970. Would that work?

oh snap!!!!! This stuff is legit!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy. So glad to be following coin2!

I'm going to keep holding onto it.

If everyone see what you see, win bigger or nothing...There will be 45 million C2 in inactive would cause C2 spike to BTC 0.5 in a matter of weeks due to demands supersede supplies.

Thank you 42coin fever, I feel like this coin has potential. I am one of the 1000 people to receive 48,750 coins. This coin is rapidly growing and I don't see it stopping just yet if we keep up the great marketing. I have half in bittrex and some in bter. Can you or someone tell me what the other two exchanges are? I think one was in Chinese or something if I wasn't mistaken.

Hey I'm new to this cryptocurrency thing, but I have been following it hxc for about one month now.

Correct me if I am wrong, but on Bittrex.com if I were to sell 48,769 C2, the calculator yield's 0.82700032btc. BTC now goes for about $620 right now, so that's a profit of about $512!?
