"i've received ~4 bitcoins since september, owed ~2000-2500 bitcoins."
where is he gona get 2500 btc from ?
did you make a big purchase?
Shades Minoco is growing too fast !
Yes that is the case, I am in talks with Payb.tc about it. The issues is not the size of the contract, is a matter or the hardware assinged was delivered unoperable and we are still dealing with that right now. Also, 1/4th the contract was to be handled by mrbashfu when he was joining us. However, he only turned on 2/3rd of the hardware he was trusted with and now cannot be found. Right after I had to repeatidly contact him via skype and phone as to where the other hashes were, they stoped and he told Deslok and I that he had a fire? The reason I ask that as a question was that I asked to see the damage and that he could not, then the hardware was ok and it was just smoke from something, and that he would have it online in 48 hours. He never was heard from after that. Also, ProjectTeraformAlpha (Nick somenameinmyemail) had been selling rigs on here and localy in LA. Delsok and I purchased 1, then 3, and then when all was going well, 8 more. When the other 8 was to come, we had started to find some hidden damage on the psus and one of the boards, so nick offered to drop offer everything, rma the equipment that was faulty and get it back to us in 2 days time. When I started putting all togethe, we were short several psus, severly under wattage on the others, missing and damged 5830s, and Ill have to ask Deslok, but there was something else. OH YEAH! there was no way these things ran at the speeds he had said. the one that was sent to deslok still cantrun 1 gpu and had problems from the get go. Our growth was healthy, especially because we were not taking new contracts at that time until the current round has come to compleation. i'm not saying things aren't tough, but despite all those challenges i can't help but think if i'd been sent just 1 bitcoin a day (which for most of the time was only worth $2-3), i'd be at least 90 btc better off right now. the key to paying off (non-interest-bearing) debt is definitely to not be overwhelmed by the total amount and just at least pay in small spare-change increments whenever they come available. i'd much rather see you chip away at it 0.01 btc at a time than see absolutely no changes... that goes for your other creditors too. incoming transactions no matter how small, speak louder than words! anyway, keep at it... as i told you on skype, i see you're the kind of guy that just doesn't give up, so i'm sure you'll be on top of things one day.

Spoilers:
-Bitcoin is still an illegal currency, -It is too much of a hassle, -It was created by a lawyer who needs a lawyer, -Super-cryptologists can embed secret messages in the bitcoin "code" using other people's computers remotely, and the IP addresses used are easily traceable for anyone who wants to look, -In a world where you have a moderate stack of cash to plunk down, you can get a whole law firm's undivided attention and a one-day trial in a well decorated courtroom with a jovial judge and no jury when charged with a crime by the federal government. -Software coders are fidgety asian dweebs who would proclaim they love a snoopy lawyer they just met.
and - when you are accused of giving a bribe, you get ineptly questioned by a pretty investigator at whatever location you specify, instead of being woken up at 3am by g-men with guns.
What, are you shorting or something? Spoilers: -They explain Bitcoin by having the actors watch a clone of the weusecoins video. -One of the witnesses later explains "Bitcoin has no central bank to regulate it, it's digital, and functions completely peer-to-peer." -They mention bitcoin being $3 now, and being $33 earlier "because people were hoarding". -All the hip young people in the series know about bitcoin. -Bitcoin is on the protagonist side, painted with hip techy people, in contrast to the antagonistic federal reserve treasurer, an old grumpy man. -The best quote, at the end of the episode, I won't tell here. Just watch it already. also, it turns out he's luke's father, and leo dies in the end.

Keep in mind, it could have also been due to your appearance at CES.
Well, this particular merchant, on his application, specifically said he heard about Bitcoin on the Good Wife and googled it G. Zeus. i wasn't expecting that to happen... let's hope it's mcdonalds or coke/amatil. Haha unfortunately I'm sure McDonald's and Coke have heard of Bitcoin long before this episode. That's why they're business experts. yeah, it's probably something more like Shoelaces 'r' Us.

Someone tell me why there are About 1,450,000 results when you search Starbucks and Bitcoin (without quotes) on Google.
because google is broken nowadays. it's called fuzzy logic, or as my dad would say "artificial stupidity". give me the old google where search queries were interpreted literally.

what's 'vanilla'? you mean softcore?
Vanilla sex (or conventional sex) is a description of what a culture regards as standard or conventional sexual behaviour. Different cultures, subcultures and individuals have different ideas about what constitutes this type of sex. Often, it is interpreted as sex which does not involve such elements as BDSM, kink, or fetish activities.
well even in that case, explicit depictions of 'vanilla' sex are pretty much illegal in australia. you can view nudity, but that's about it for most states.

The point is to encrypt what's REALLY sensitive and hiding it behind something that's embarrassing but not sensitive.
Gay porn is plausibly embarrassing enough that people would encrypt it and when the Bad Guys™ come calling and ask what the encrypted data is, you can show the gay porn without revealing the REAL data.
Unfortunately, there are still countries where you better should unlock your bitcoin wallet to oficials and pretty darn hide gay porn. Better choose something still embarrassing and not illegal anywhere. Hmm, what about own attempts to poetry? I'm basing this on UK and US law, where "vanilla" gay porn of 2 adult men doing stuff is legal but embarrassing to possess. Obviously if you're in a different legal climate you should use other material, your own attempts at poetry might be embarrassing but it's not the kind of thing people usually realistically hide, whereas your collection of gay porn or whatever is. Porn in general is something that's "dirty", and thus people will plausibly hide it, especially if it's not the vanilla kind. If you are an "out" homosexual of course the above should be altered - perhaps gay guys should hide straight porn instead. It probably says a lot about me that I struggle to think of material other than porn that would work for this trick. what's 'vanilla'? you mean softcore? ...softcore to hardcore is a blurred line that still puts you at risk of some overbearing authority's subjectiveness. it would be embarrassing for a die-hard rock fan to have a stash of celine dion mp3's... but there we go again with the legal issues.

Bitcoin does not have any dispute resolution service so it's hard to compare.
neither does 'USD' have any dispute resolution service. you're right though, Paypal is a transaction service, not a currency.
