Hello everyone, today tezos has been dropped so i want to exchange my 100k tezos to usdt, after i sent to changehero the money they forced me to do kyc that took 2days.
i told them i want to do the exchange now to not keep losing value, they told me if i want refund i can do but they will take 10% of the Tezos, means 10k Tezos.
CHANGEHERO.IO / SWAPSPACE.CO making a huge scam, there many reports about them even on trustpilot, people sending right KYC documents and they in return give false response to take your 10% of all the money ttransfered

В KYC изменения автор говорит вносили и вроде подтверждает скринами ,сейчас уже лень искать, но даже если врёт, хоть как остаётся очччень медленная реакция других участников.
О KYC: поиск по истории изменений в сайте показал, что в январе страницу дополнили информацией и исправляли незначительные ошибки, но изменений по существу в текст о AML/KYC не вносилось. О медленной реакции: как видите, стараемся быть в курсе и идти с сообществом на диалог. |

I thought everything about the situation was resolved sometime back when I saw some members reverting the negative feedback they had left on bestchange. Since this thread was mostly about the reputation of Bestchange at that time, Maybe you guys can make a new thread concerning the current situation of your reputation and what you did to resolve the issue that led to your negative feedback. Thanks for the reply, JeromeTash. We actually did make a separate thread, linked in the quoted message. It was made on a forum we thought was appropriate for the topic. We left a reply in this thread, in which this case is mentioned, as a reminder that BestChange handled it right despite not even being involved, and all the suspicions and accusations towards BestChange were unwarranted. |

Публичные обвинения предъявлялись сервису на русскоязычных форумах в гораздо большей мере, чем на англоязычных. Во время выяснения обстоятельств, у команды не было возможности отслеживать русскоязычные форумы. Теперь этим занимается комьюнити-менеджер со знанием русского: этот момент нам пришлось учесть, чтобы предотвратить подобные ситуации впредь. Мы хотим напомнить, что ни BestChange, ни Indacoin не имели никакого отношения к этим транзакциям. - меняли KYC во время инциндента?
Изменений в текст KYC не вносили. - что ответил Binance, и на каких правах он вам предоставляет информацию о своих пользователях?
Представители биржи действовали в рамках своих полномочий и политики конфиденциальности, и полученная от них информация сводится к следующему: Средства действительно отправлены с аккаунта на бирже; Аккаунт на бирже не верифицирован; Аккаунт ведет “allegedly suspicious activity”; По поводу аккаунта никаких сообщений от правоохранительных органов не поступало. Как klarki сообщил(а), в свете регуляций AML/KYC биржи оставляют за собой право решать, сообщать или нет информацию, которая может помочь в отслеживании попыток отмыва денег. |

How exactly did that exchange come to the conclusion that said funds are from fraudulent activities? What is their legal base for coming to such a conclusion ?
According to the exchanger, their risk management system identified the transaction as a suspicious one, which made them freeze the transaction and launch the investigation. The situation still warrants us some unreasonable suspicions. Even a few months later, we have to address it and post our statement in an every related topic to let it be known that the accusations were wrongful. We have made a statement with the case resolution on a scam alert forum. The transaction was put on hold since our fraud detection system and further analysis showed that the money were being laundered, and a similar case few months later proved our suspicions. Despite this setback, ChangeHero will continue working on building the users' trust. |

The second line of accusation, the situation with SergeyMalar, was very eyebrow-raising to us. The user did not use our service when he found ChangeHero exchanger, he found them on Monero official site. But nobody here was blaming Monero or writing into their trust, everybody was blaming us. Although we had nothing to do with the exchange of this 21 000 USDT. We anyway helped SergeyMalar return his money. And as it turns out, ChangeHero did not freeze his funds on a whim, the guy turns out to be dodgy. So, in this situation, we got double-accused unfairly. But some forum users, despite many objective data, still look at us as a scammer. This is really surprising for us. As we have replied in this topic, the exchanger has "frozen" the funds of the user and is holding an investigation. We are following the situation and have switched off the exchanger until the situation is resolved. As a part of our awareness-spreading campaign, we are updating the topics that this incident was mentioned in in to restore our own and BestChange's reputation, especially given that they were not involved with any of the transactions. BestChange team was acting according to their Terms of use and in a professional manner. Their actions were in their best interest, and we are looking forward to working with them, now that this case is resolved. |
