This could also be a midweek slump similar to the one we saw a week ago. Given the seemingly cyclical and repetitive nature of this bull run, we might be going sideways/down til Friday, then back up. Or not.
That's my read of the situation too. I hope so anyway, I want back in after selling too early!

except to try to attack us with the appeal to hypocrisy fallacy.
The hypocrisy of claiming Monero is not a coordinated entity from one side of your mouth, then defending your tribe "us" out of the other side of your mouth. You may even believe that the two sides of your mouth are two people, so that they are not inconsistent. You succeeded in hoodwinking AnonyMint and destroying his reputation by convincing him that he would be on the successful side by speaking out against ICOs, premines, etc.. So that the former reputation that AnonyMint had became unusable when it was time to use it. You've laid so much waste in your wake. And potentially destroyed the one person who could have actually fixed crypto for all of us. I hope you are proud of your result. But I wouldn't be too smug. AnonyMint is one clever mofo. I am sure he will no longer use words. In fact, I know his next plan. And he will turn the definition of mining inside-out and upside-down. And you will bow at his feet. Keep your television tuned. The fireworks haven't yet begun. I wonder if you honestly believe you've succeeded in convincing people that you and AM are not the same person. You're clearly delusional enough. I've been reading your posts here on and off for years now, your MO hasn't changed one bit.

We're going from bad to worse.....
I purchased a bit right before polo went down. What's the price at?Exceedingly stable, at 0.00231169 Kind of like a safety meeting: Nobody Works, Nobody Gets Hurt. How can you call a 40% drop in a few days "Exceedingly stable"? I get that you are long on XMR, but that is delusional as hell. ThePatient asked about price since polo went down. I answered quite literally. No change is stable. Loosen up a little. Oh, so no change in the last 1-2 hours qualifies as "Exceedingly stable" unlike the last 48 hours where XMR took a fat shit on everyone who had been buying into the hype. Its that kind of ridiculous pump/hype spin that people hate about crypto and alt coins. It perfectly qualifies in context. You are the bad faith troll in this case. Welcome to my ignore list, by the way wtf, there's no context where you could define the current XMR price "exceedingly stable"

Economy / Speculation / Re: So how much have you lost this year by investing in Bitcoin?

I haven't really been keeping up, but I would say I'm down about 2000-2500 over the course of this year (in dollar value) I still have some bitcoin, and some prevalent alts, but I honestly can't see any of it going anywhere any more. I've lost faith.
I won't sell what I have left, but I have pretty much written it off in all honesty.

Bigger risk, better reward Grin
not always the case. buying magic beans is really high risk. ive never heard of magic beans actually paying off. so not always the potential for higher reward just cuz something is higher risk. If there is no potential for gain (or even recovery of your investment) then there is no risk, just guaranteed loss. Risk means you don't know what is going to happen. Both are right approaches. In finances and stockmarkets the risk is defined as the mean variance of return (often it is called by the name of volatility). However, in this case risk is more like "business risk". If I start a business, it has basically limitless possibilities and I might become a billionaire but also I might end up bankcrupt. It is not so much risk, it is more like uncertainity of future outcome. In investing, risk is not uncertainity but simply ROI movements (ie an asset could be extremely risky despite it goes nothing but up with high percents daily - never going down - and making its owners wealthy). Actually no. Whoa, way to state your case, settle down on the details next time.

I'm not up to date. Is there TW-attack going on? It seems all the deadlines have been passed.
I think you answered your own question. At this point it's pretty safe to admit it was just hot air. Ok thanks. I thought BCX wouldn't bluff...well I was wrong There's a chance he wasn't bluffing and simply couldn't destroy the coin like he thought he could. Would be great to get an explanation from him.
