82  Economy / Economics / Re: stable currency on: July 21, 2017, 09:01:08 AM
i was just wondering
how much more time BTC needs to become a little more stable?
in past 24 hours BTC exchange rate have increased 19.1%
Why do you want it to be stable in the first place? With that logic, bitcoin wouldn't be there where it is at the moment. It's an asset which lures potential investors,if not for price fluctuations,no one really would put money in bitcoins.

i am not really sure why it went down on the first place
but i am happy that they are UP now
& i am still wondering what make the price increase :/
Go back to the basics --> Google Search [Why bitcoin price increases] [Tell me you know how to google]

to be honest i dont know much about the tech.
all i know is the rate is decided by the trading ratio & volume...
Not precisely..check the articles on google.

and according to news 2 largest dark web market(alphabay & hasana) have been shutdown by feds
& i think that most of the BTC transaction come from dark web......
It's 2017..that fact doesn't apply today.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin mixer or self mixing? on: July 21, 2017, 08:43:45 AM
But mixers is 3rd party and they have mix logs, so they can share it with everyone who will ask. In my opinion it's better to use own "mixer" and have less anonimity than share information with 3rd party.
You have a point but it depends on the mixer you are using. The log policies vary accordingly, bitmixer.io has a strict no-logs policy.Taken from the Faq:

Quote
What logs are kept?
Absolutely no logs or personally identifying information are kept regarding your use of the Bitmixer service. All logs are permanently removed from both our website database and from our Bitcoin wallet after your coins have been transferred out of our reserve. All forwarding entries are removed after 24 hours.

always use mixer, because the mixer has multi input and multi outputs, while if you are planning to do mixxing yourself and create new address and use it as a just middleman, then it can still be traceable even though you move funds betn, your 20+ addresses.,

I concur! Self mixing would always leave the trails behind regardless of your rotations. If anonymity is the real concern, mixers are somewhat 90% close to achieve it.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: factory reset wiped my files dont have private key? on: July 21, 2017, 08:34:53 AM
Did you try recovery software like Recuva and/or EaseUs? They may be able to recover your wallet.dat file.
He is confused,I doubt he know what he is doing. If you read the posts above,he thought he got the wallet file.

Try using btcrecover (can anyone link the topic?).
Be careful with that tool.Have users posting bad experiences in the past,if you miss out a step from the tutorial, you will lose the only chance you have to recover your bitcoins.I don't recommend using it.

ok file did not work... I am going to try and use the hex editor to find the private keys. My wallet is encrypted with a passphrase (password) hopefully this will not be a huge problem but I do know it.  Basically I had a large transfer recently which mainly is the balance of the account.  Am I looking for a public key which follows by a private key eventually?  If I know the address of the transfer does that help?  Do I need only one private key to recover the lost bitcoins?    Any help is appreciated.

File did not work doesn't explain much, does it ? You need to know the basics of bitcoin, start from here : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Private_key
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: May 29, 2017, 11:37:00 AM
I would hold them. It depends though for what purpose you bought them, if you bought them for just trading after price would go to 3000 then just wait until it reaches 2600 and sell but if you bought them for a distant future, hold it as it maybe the best investment you have ever made.
Pointless. Why does it matter what he bought the bitcoins for ?

If you can't wait just withdraw them to cash and build a mining PC, right now it costs in Europe one with 5 RX480/580 GPU-S at 2300 EURO in total. Start mining Etherum or Zcash and you will make with the actual price of bitcoin about 400 and maybe a bit more USD in bitcoin every month.
Dude, you're way off here. You're giving him the worst advice ever.

There are a lot of choices, it's up to you. Personally I am withdrawing bitcoin to create mining PC-s , I see more value in that than in any other job regarding bitcoin for the moment.
Are you out of your mind ? Your signature campaign pays more than any bitcoin mining PC you'll set-up.

That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500, and then 3 days later someone buys it at $2000. But I'm guessing that it's the risk involved in investing, so what do I do now? Sell? Or hold on them?
The fact that the price can reach $2500 at sometime should give you the confidence that it would reach the limit again.Keep holding.
86  Economy / Reputation / Re: nachius 'Default trust member' BOUGHT account?! on: May 29, 2017, 11:25:12 AM
If not bought, the account is perfectly tailored to not leave any trace behind such as old addresses.Quite hard to believe such an old account haven't posed a single address(of his own) on bitcointalk in several years.
The hierarchical view of the trust list surprised me too!nachius is under BadBear's trust system.Someone should cross verify from him.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: May 27, 2017, 07:07:28 PM
Not everybody has a problem gambling, but if you are a problem gambler, there is a support network they may help you. It starts with you recognizing the problem.
Everything starts with "You".Motivated enough to leave gambling and pursue a happy life hereafter Undecided.

Let's work on this together, you're not alone and you don't need to suffer from your addiction. If you have solutions or have the compassion to provide moral support, please help by participating in this thread.
Took a quick look at the website. They're limited to United States.Gamblers here, the addicted one's come from other countries.Campaigns like this doesn't do any wonders until the victim is treated in person.
88  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Issue with Blockchain.info Transaction on: May 27, 2017, 06:48:20 PM
There doesn't seem to be a critical issue as you're putting it.Don't fret. You might have added that it as a watch only wallet that's why they ask the private key so you can send (it's a rough guess)
Read through the blog post here, that would help fixing your problem
https://blog.blockchain.com/2014/06/18/tutorial-the-import-export-feature-in-your-blockchain-wallet/
They've detailed it as much as possible.
89  Economy / Goods / Re: Anonymous SIM cards - preorder on: May 27, 2017, 06:38:04 PM
The cards ARE activated and will work worldwide, there's no doubt about it.
SIMs wont work in only 4 countries: Andorra, Greenland, Lebanon, Sudan.

If there's any doubt, Im posting O2 Support answer:

You forgot to mention the most important part of it,the phone's should be jail broken for the sims to work.In case of android,I think the boot loader should be unlocked too.Tell me I'm wrong.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Goodbye Adsense on: May 27, 2017, 06:11:18 PM
I am an adsense blogger. It has been two or three years I monetize my blog with adsense. I Have three blog that give me traffic 1500 pv a day. Not high traffic but I do a lot of work. I learn seo ,I write original articles. After few days my articles were copy and modified by other bloggers. I feel What kind of business is this. So many  rules should I  follow in case my blog was  sent to sand box by  google. That was bad news.  1000 traffic became 0 traffic. That's hurting and painstaking.

First, I joined bitcointalk, I underestimate the member here, I ever post critisized ones who only look for signature campaign. I got bullied by many members but The post went away. I never joined signature campaign until I became senior member. I enjoy make discussion with other members. One day I tried to enrolled signature campaigan. I got three weeks. I joined iEx.ec. I don't think about reward, I continue to post and read other posts. i learn a lot of things from this forum. When the time distribute the reward I was amazed by earning that I have made. It is about 1.3 BTC. Three weeks for 1.3 BTC.

Since then I think I have spent too much time for big boy adsense. I only earn $100 for about 7 to 8 month. I think I should change my mind to use my blog for bounty programs. This is a fact. I have just realized now.
tl;dr version of the OP's Post
Op is a regular blogger who used Adsense for making money through his blog and failed terribly even after trying out SEO and original articles. After introducing to bitcointalk's signature campaigns he managed to make 1.3 bitcoins in just 3 weeks which he couldn't make through his blog in 7-8 months.Op's all happy now that bitcoin made him rich and hates adsense for letting him down.
91  Economy / Goods / Re: [Selling] Tabs for Men's Health , example Erection on: May 27, 2017, 06:00:34 PM
OP - Are you authorized to sell these medicines ? Doesn't matter how deep your knowledge is in the subject but law allows only a chemist to distribute them legally once advised by the sexologist. Are you a sexologist ? How have you acquired those pills ?

Unfortunately, I've faced some problems as I have erectile dysfunction. As I'm a young man and want to live life to the full, I need a medicine. I was suggested to buy viagra next day delivery, but I haven't found out its side effects. The information given here is understandable and the price is reasonable. I'll keep these tablets in mind. Thanks for sharing!
Here's what you do : - Go to your nearest doctor.
92  Economy / Reputation / Re: Boycott yahoo - Vote anonymously and I will make sure that yahoo gets kicked ! on: May 27, 2017, 05:43:58 PM
Don't know much about the guy but had inquired him before regarding signature campaign things. He was quite quick to respond and helped me out joining another campaign.Guess professionalism is just not appreciated in the forum.
93  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by sunce33 on: May 27, 2017, 05:34:51 PM
If you hang around in a community called "blackhat world" then you should expect to get stung.
Doesn't look like you know blackhatworld. They are the oldest and the best forum for internet marketing to SEO stuff. The free online money making guides posted there are actually sold here on bitcointalk by scammers.
If you're someone newly getting into making money online, you need blackhatworld.Too bad for the OP to trade bitcoins on blackhatworld, they don't acknowledge that stuff.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day everyone ! on: May 26, 2017, 09:49:11 AM
Isnt that treating BTC more like a stock or a security? If its treated really like money, then we should start spending it. But most of us dont. We all love to tuck it in cold storage and squirrel it away like were so afraid that someone might steal it from us.
You made a nice point but not everyone is fond of buying materialistic things. He who plans for the future holds the key for the riches. They can do whatever they want with their bitcoins.Had the pizza guy saved those coins,he would probably have a house by the beach today.

So if he did really treat it as money then maybe he did go broke.
He didn't go broke. He got what he paid for.
95  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Windows or Linux for Wallet Software? on: May 26, 2017, 09:43:04 AM
By the looks of it, the NSA tools that were leaked are mostly targeting Windows operating systems and these Malware attacks and Ransomware are also predominantly on Windows. I bought several second hand computers and notebooks and use them for different tasks.
That's not the fresh news.Windows Kernal is easily exploitable.NSA's tools were leaked on purpose. It's an inside, planned job.

I have a bootable Tails {Linux based} DVD that I clean boot with to do some of my Bitcoin related tasks. < This method, reduce the risk of having spyware and malware and keyloggers being installed and collecting data of everything I do >
Why not just  install grub bootloader and keep windows along ? The interesting part is,if my hard disk ever fails due to system issues,I can always login from Linux and back it up.

96  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possible scammer catched on: May 26, 2017, 09:34:29 AM
Sorry if i say this but you are wrong, he did scammed 2 users in the past at least this is what i can read on his trust page
So you mean to say knowing the user is a scammer you still went ahead with the deal ? Smart Move.

Double edit: Rating removed until further proof is provided.
Some people just don't appreciate things,do they ? For a newbie,he knows too much about signatures.Obviously hiding his alternate accounts.

You are happy now you spammed for your signature ? enjoy your few cents
Needless to say,he is on the DT.Btw it's not a few cents now, much more.
97  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Gloryninja and mytaptech on: May 26, 2017, 06:37:08 AM
Proof of Payment: Don't want to publish as he won't pay me anyways then since I published the piece
Doesn't make sense.You don't want to publish what ?

PM/Chat Logs: "how about 0.06?" on May 13 and "hi.Sent on:5/15From:I am Ninjais there any way i can pay you that is not crypto? i need to buy btc tonight but would rather pay you in a short while unless you can wait till night" May 15. Online here sporadically, but not reposnding or paying
FYI,you need to attach the screeshots from the actual conversations as it doesn't hold any reliability.

Additional Notes: Mark the company and user in red. I'll pay the loan I took should I recover these funds.
It was a writing job and your alt account wantt0sell also provides writing services.I'd be committing a fallacy if taken your views on into consideration as a scammer yourself.Nonetheless, they party involved can pay directly to the lender you owe money to since you've already proved you're not trustworthy.

Why you never thought of using an escrow when the first time you google that email handle you're represented with a list of links that possibly links to him being a scammer ? Check out his hackforums account,he seems like a 12 year old.
Sad that you lost coins, you can take away a good lesson.Post the same information in his services thread.
100  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possible scammer catched on: May 25, 2017, 01:44:36 PM
It seems like these scammers are finding better ways to scam, it's a good thing you were smart enough to avoid making the transaction.
It's not a better way,it's the most dumbest thing one can do.Funny how he says he's not the user he is impersonating.Even if hasn't scammed, he needs to to be tagged for impersonating a trusted trader of the forum (I did check out sardasa's profile,he seems he's doing trades here for a long time.)
