Hey guys, I'll keep this as short as possible. I'm resigning from the dev team. Last year I spend 7 months basically only working on Pandacoin and totally neglected my own business and since we're doing this for free, I didn't have any income for over half a year. In January I started working again on my own business to generate some income to pay the mortage and other bills and as you've probably noticed I've become a lot less active on this forum and on IRC. The added pressure/crying/complaining from a part of the community has also given me a lot of extra stress, so bad that I sometimes barely slept.
Those things combined with some other things helped me made up my mind and that results in me quitting as dev member.
I've had a lot of fun and worked very hard on this project and I've met some awesome people and a great community.
I'll hang around on IRC but just as a community member and no longer as a dev.

Keep up the community projects! they are very important to the coin

I suggest that they will be discussed on pandacointalk and that the community decides through a poll with a maximum of 3 per month, if they don't get veto'd by the devs, which really should never happen if they are useful and helpful for the community

We will be asking PhiPhi, the owner of the forum, to add a dedicated PNDproject subforum where you can pitch potential projects and decide as a community which ones will be valuable. The developers have a veto right which can be used for ridiculous projects like sponsoring a nascar car for example.

More projects will obviously be added in the future, currently we just added the community chest since that's an ongoing project.

Some more community initiatives would be nice too, look at doge, their dev team hasn't done anything for a long time, yet they manage to get some fun/nice community projects out. And we're still here and developed a really cool wallet with really cool and revolutionary features. I don't think it's fair to expect us to change the world overnight. Developments take time, do you think a wallet like ours can be done quickly? Be my guest and develop something similar.
If you want change, be part of the change and take action.

You do, it must have been one of the older transactions. If it's confirmed and visible on the blockchain, you got it. No coins get lost, it doesn't work like that otherwise satoshi would've created a really crappy protocol

Probably you never had the 300k, you can go through you transactions and check them 1 by 1 to see where the difference occurs.
The total balance is always the correct one, you can also check it under "coin control" that's always correct.
There are 2 scenarios where this can happen:
1) You did some transfers between your own accounts in very rare cases this can cause your transaction grid to register something wrong.
2) With older wallets that were created before the first pandabank it can potentially happen because of the accounting system that was used before. But again there were no coins lost obviously.

PandaBank v3.0.2 Patch Notes

In this 3.0.2 update to PandaBank, we have included now, the translation of the user interface for our Chinese community, in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese. This coincides with the finished Chinese translation of the Crypto Crash Course articles, to assist Pandacoin in gaining traction over in the East.

We have implemented a popularly requested feature in this patch. Under 'Settings', in the advanced tab, you can now reset your blockchain or your peers (see below screenshot). No more searching through your AppData and manually deleting your blockchain or peers files when required.

Note: there is not Linux build out yet, there were some issues with the building environment but we didn't want to wait any longer with this. This build will be added later. But most Linux users prefer to compile the PandaBank themselves.
