41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: July 18, 2018, 04:35:23 PM
i want to know what makes the cryprto dangerous? to the point that many countries band the use of crypto in their countries. I want to hear your opinion

before we start to enter the world of cryptocurrency I think we all certainly already know all the risks we get in these investments, actually that makes the cryptocurrency dangerous of course the purpose of the investors themselves

And also if you are a person, who can spend all your money carelessly and foolishly crypto is not for you. Because you need to be wise and bright-minded.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: July 18, 2018, 04:32:49 PM
Hey folks,

what do you think, which tokens are a great investment for 5-10 years?

All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

so to say, the Amazons and Googles of the crypto world.

Which coins are REALLY GROUNDBREAKING in your eyes and why?

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

Please share your opinions

I think you should have BTC and ETH as it is whales of crypto market. And they are in top for a long time and I am sure they will be in top in future.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: July 18, 2018, 04:30:59 PM
What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

So as it was said it depends on you and which amount to are ready to loose or how many money want to make. So I think if you have some free money you can use it. Like you`ve already said starting from $3k is good.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I do not panic when the market falls on: July 18, 2018, 04:27:35 PM
For some reason I am sure that the price of the crypto will rise, so I hold it, I did not see any analyst who did not have the same opinion as I do, but thing that motivates me the most — is when I start comparing the whole current situation with the Dot-com bubble, the fact is that this bubble busted reaching 6 trillion dollars, the crypto reached only 830 billion yet, in its peak. During Dot-com bubble only middle and rich class had opportunity to invest but not all, in the crypto everybody can invest, regardless of country and day time and it also can be done anonymously from jour home computer, so I think that this is all just the beginning and the real bubble is yet to come, it is not known when it will come — in five or 10 years, but I hope that it will.

This is a good opinion. You are a smart person, who understand if you invested in promising coin it will recover in time. And there is no sense to panic.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: July 16, 2018, 06:44:53 PM
Yes, I agree. I take part in various bounty campaigns. Of all, about 70-80% of scum or dead. But there are those who work and very well ..
The fact is that there are a lot of companies that have a very weak team, which is aimed only at obtaining money from investors, but very little care about the development of its project. It is because of this that most companies die, let them have a good idea.

Yes, I agree. It is not scam in every projects, just some of them have too weak team and project haven’t got any possibilities to become promising.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto long-term? on: July 12, 2018, 11:26:28 AM
Do you really look for a long term profit, like the people who had bitcoin in 2014 or are you here trying to get a quick buck with a minimum effort?

I really believe in long-term, especially with BTC. Some alts also have everything to be a good long-term investment. So I also hold several alts and I believe it will bring me bigger profit with years.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: July 12, 2018, 11:23:42 AM
I have been trading crypto-currencies for almost a year now, investing, participating in bounty companies and building my own mining farm.
I wonder how many more girls are in this forum?
Or who of the guys is teaching his girlfriends and wives to invest and trade in crypto-currencies? It is very interesting to me!

I have several ladies, who are interested in crypto. And one of friend’s sister is a bounty hunter, she really likes this work and earn pretty much good. So it isn’t very complicated for girls and she has pretty deep knowledge about crypto.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: July 12, 2018, 11:20:37 AM
Exactly! There are plenty of altcoin and most of them are useless. To my mind there is no sense to invest your money in no name altcoins without luquidity. Crypto is a risky and alts with zero price are risky even more!

But in tons of useless alts, there are some really promising ones. It shouldn’t be so easy, because in that case everyone would easily invest and become super rich. You need to work, do researches and find a good one.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am I to do? on: July 12, 2018, 11:18:13 AM
Too much panic around falling prices. Be more patient, keep it. I mean, if you really need money you can always sell. And it is ok that market is not stable and has some falling\rising points. If you really really scared, hold till price will rise at least a little. Sell everything and forget about crypto.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do now??? on: July 12, 2018, 11:10:34 AM
Well dealing with cryoto is a game of adults where u don't just loose your mind anyhow because of changes in the price of bitcoin in the market. With the way things are going now I would advice u hold it with u for now,so u can get d best of what u have with you... Stay focussed and do ur  research well, when the price is more stable then u can sell off..... My opinion thoh

I also follow the idea of holding. But it is very personal, you should be sure in your actions, if your decided to hold, sell, whatever. Because I heard stories, when people ask about advice and that blame everyone in fail.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: July 11, 2018, 11:35:14 AM
Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?

Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.

Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .

After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.

But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.

So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?

I would like to hold both, BTC and top alts. Why not?  It is my buffer in case I will mess up with another alts and just lost my money.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: July 11, 2018, 09:27:36 AM
Every day, less and less want to participate in bounty companies and more to participate in investment.

I also want to add that in recent times there are not so many good bounties. So mostly people don’t want to work for nothing. I remember times, when allocation of tokens in bounties were much bigger that now.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: July 11, 2018, 09:19:55 AM
It's well known that here it depends on the project, I look at the campaign. If there is enough money for life, the best choise is to hold the koin, but this is my opinion.

I have almost the same opinion. Usually it depends on project, I hold till the price rise up at least for a bit and then sell. Sometimes I hold as a long-term investment.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any signature bounty campaign for newbies ?? on: July 11, 2018, 09:17:12 AM
Usually good bounty doesn’t accept newbies, so as a lot of people have recommended here it is better to upgrade your rank. You can find topics about this. You need to write at least one post during 3 weeks and have in result 30 posts. So you can write 1 on the 1st, 1 on the 2nd and 18 on the third.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: July 10, 2018, 07:33:20 PM
Accepting students to pay tuition fees by Bitcoin has been applied by some universities around the world.
In June 2017, the Montessori School in New York, USA, officially allowed parents to pay tuition fees for their children with bitcoin. This is the first school for children to use digital payment.

That’s a great news. I would like to have something like that four or five years ago, when I was in college. But that time BTC wasn’t very high. But after all, I am happy that crypto is spreading the world and is accepted further and further.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually use Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2018, 06:16:35 PM
As far as I am more and more in it, I can do some conclusions.

1) People are mostly not using the Bitcoin (altcoins as well);
2) Crypto-enthusiasts are real enthusiasts only when the price goes up;
3) Even considering there are more crypto-companies appear which offer their services, and more people join our community - the level of crypto education and adoption is still very low;

Almost 95% of all people in crypto I know personally are holding or trading, but not using it to its functionality. I cannot judge anyone for this, but let's be honest - it won't bring you any money if you just will buy it and wait.

So, there is a question: "How much of you use Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to its full capacity?" I am curious about this because as for now it looks like there is only a small group of people making some contributions.

To be really honest, I mostly hold. Because I do not want to spend my BTC with such low price and I understand it is better to hold till the rise up.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: July 05, 2018, 01:03:30 PM
I wouldn’t say so. Surely, crypto investments are risky as any investment, because price can fall down. But as for me this field is developing and very promising one. Crypto is our future and would advice to invest. But invest wisely and only after researches and some knowledge in your head. Because without it you can loose a lot.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: July 04, 2018, 05:45:09 PM
Such an old topic, where have you find it? Grin Interesting what the author has done with BTC sold and held? There were so may advises.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: July 04, 2018, 05:40:06 PM
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.

I think some people just want to have fiat money in your pocket because don’t believe in every ICO project. And I consider it is as quite normal plan for bounty hunters.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing more than 10k worth it? on: July 04, 2018, 05:31:31 PM
Hope, it is not all your money and you have some for living. So if you decided to put that much I think you should try BTC. Put 60% of your investments there and take some promising coins. Like EOS, NEO, 0x. But still I think 10k of $ will be enough.
