Hi all, As you all know there are now 3 developers: gruve_p, srcxxx and Mindfox. gruve_p: I am preparing to get another dev (Savale) on board, so we will be with 4 developers. We are awaiting his terms. I saw that srcxxx has promised the community a p2pool. Unfortunately the person who was trying to make, let srcxxx down. I have asked a very known p2pool coder (dstorm) to create it for us as and the p2pool is ready (we have tested it on testnet and are testing it now mainnet). We will release it together with the PoW/PoS hybrid hardfork. My friend Mogonzo (from chunkypools) has committed to us to create a multipool (sha-256, scrypt and x11) for us if we have many miners interested. Please let us know here. No response is no multipool. srcxxx: I have asked srcxxx to concentrate more on what he likes to do: coding. You won't be seeing him much active on forums except when needed. Right now he is busy to optimize our grs-sgminer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=652849. After this he will be concentrating on creating a profit switching multipool (groestl based) for us. Mindfox: He is a very old friend of mine and one of the most trusted developers out there! I am very proud to have him onboard as he is considered one of the big brains in crypto's. At the moment Mindfox has no time to work full time with us that's why we agreed to work on a project basis. He is the dev of Clean Water coin and whitecoin. He also works on project basis for Cryptcoin. Project 1: Mindfox is the leading dev to the PoW/PoS hybrid transaction. In order to get to PoW/PoS hybrid we need to hardfork again, which was planned at block 150.000. Due to personal circumstances (and accusations by the Cryptcoin community) he has no time to start on this. This means that we would have to delay the PoW/PoS hardfork with a week. If you have any questions regarding the PoS (min agestake, max age stake, annual interest) feel free to ask him as he is the one deciding what would the best. As a bonus for the delay he promised us to give Advanced Coin control in the wallet. And if he really has a good day, perhaps we can get a much more sexier wallet. Project 2: Mindfox is also the leading dev of decentralized anon (not the centralized masternode anon but real p2p anon) called groestlsend. After he finishes the anon on Cryptcoin, he will hopefully start groestlsend. I have asked Mindfox to officially introduce himself here and give us an update on this upcoming hardfork (what new block we will hardfork and what we can expect). After the poW/PoS hardfork I have asked a team of marketers to help us get accepted to several sites. And they are eager to start with it. Rest assured, we will give updates on a more frequent basis. So cheap   We did not find that the benefits of GRS There was never much benefit to GRS anyway. I tried hard to find it - but naaah. No benefits.
Stop trolling us!As a miner with *many* cards 280x (I'd reveal more than 50) and as much as many cards 5850 (I'd also reveal more than 50) - I am no troll. I measure the consumption of electricity and I daily monitor what is worth mining. When dwarf's hash rate went down from 4 GHash to 3 - well, that was me. I tried hard to find a value in GRS. But I am unable to. Currently some other coin is several times more profitable. You think the value of GRS will rise. So far - it did not. When you said, the value of reward goes down to 25 GRS. Who on Earth will mine that? And the POW+POS. So in fact, someone is getting coins without any mining. Been smokin' somethin'? Some coins would *KILL* for hash rate. Well, it seems that's not a priority for you. Forget the bounty. You should give it - but you decided not to. You should not change the rules, when a bounty payout time comes. [/quote] Look

 Groestlcoin was created on 22 March 2014 and we’ve seen some interesting few months since then. A lot has also been achieved. We have: - Patched the HeartBleed vulnerability
- Updated to Dark Gravity Wave 3
- Updated the logo
- Created the new website
- Created a Reddit tip bot for our users. u/GroestlTip
- Built a solid base in social communities like twitter, reddit, facebook
- Created an official Groestlcoin forum, paper money generator, extra block explorer, and got listed on numerous exchanges
- It is even possible to buy GRS directly with Euro (on 2 different websites).
Building on these important milestones, today we would like to share with you the Groestlcoin roadmap for 2014: Our most important update: Groestlcoin is going POW + POS (70% POW and 30% POS) on block #150,000 (early July 2014). The community has been asking for it and we are implementing it. Also, from block #150,000, the new block reward strategy will be used: 25 GRS initially and decreasing 1% each week up to the minimum reward of 5 GRS. The total volume of coins will not be changed and will remain 105,000,000. It will give us 10 additional years (up to 2033) of mining using the Groestl algorithm and it’ll decrease the inflation levels. From block #120,000 to block #150,000 the reward will be decreased 10% daily, reaching 25 GRS at block #150,000. We will launch a Groestlcoin advertising campaign, featuring a bodypainted model in the first week of June. Sneak peak: http://goo.gl/KE2xfOAt block #200,000 (or earlier, if time permits) we will introduce GroestlSend, a way to send anonymous transactions. Other news is that we will be launching a Groestl/MyriadGroestl multipool during this summer and payouts will be in GRS.
