261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 42 | + super rare | + only 42 coins to be mined | + Update b4 Block 55,000 on: September 01, 2014, 11:47:16 AM
So after days of mining not knowing it had been abandoned I got over 1 BTC! But lost it to Cryptsy, so they are trying to find it, which is fine. So then I read these comments they helped me so thank you also the wallet 42 QT 7.0 Build seems to be syncing fine now, it would sync, then go like halfway back and freeze. So I messaged hendo420 on skype and he said this `I am no longer the lead dev of 42coin. Soopy took over awhile back and did a hard fork. This is probably why you are getting stuck at block 70000. If it actually sent on the official 42 blockchain then Bigvern at Cryptsy should not have a problem helping you. If it sent on the old chain then you will have to get the newest client and rescan to recover the coins.`

I'm testing a 42 pool - pm me if you're interested in mining. I've been mining 42 for the last 24 hours and transferred my mined coins to cryptsy just fine.
good luck

This is getting exciting BK, great stuff!

Still going to need that MAC OSX Wallet at some point, otherwise things look sharp. I'll be coming onboard.

why is there no makefile.unix in the source code here:

263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NAUT] Nautiluscoin - First Coin w/Stabilization Fund - Digishield on: September 01, 2014, 11:30:16 AM

I'd like to make a few recommendations to help breath new life back into this coin.

The coin has been languishing value wise for some now in spite of efforts to rejuvinate it through MMA Fights etc.

I was an early adopter of this coin and loved what is was all about.

I'd like to make two recommendations.

First: Because of Digishield and the rediculous high difficulty that the coin is now strapped with - no one is mining it and this come at a time where more and more people are getting bigger and bigger hash and mining is at an all time high - no one is mining this coin and that's sad with over 70% of all available coins yet to be mined.

My first recommendation is to hard fork the coin and drop Digishiield and in it's place use KGW which has a track working of working well to handle bump in mining activiry and it recovers fast.

My second recommendation is to change the coin to that it's merge minable like SYS, DOGE, LTC, POT, 42 and several others.

I think these two changes would breath life back into a coin that has a big following yet in spite of your best efforts has been unable to give the coin any real traction.

My humble .02

Do these things I'll I'll add a pool on http://lifeforce.info for this coin and help breath new life into a great coin.

From the chips photo it seems they were made week 34.

Well stone me if they deliver, but that's the scrypt.

What happened to the 6TH Bitcoin chips?

Price is not as good as expected.

I'm surprised with the dramatic increase in network hash that it has not risen quite a bit but I think it's pretty clear that judging by the size of the orders on the sell wall, it's original investors willing to take their licks and get out at a loss.  Most people could not have mined the number of coins for sale on the sell wall in the past 10 days - it's original investors who are dumping at a loss and will just move one - the supply of coins at these prices will run out in the next 7 to 10 days to the bargain hunters and the prices will rise - it's almost inevitable.
266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: August 29, 2014, 08:11:43 PM
Hey mr spoondoolies salesman...how are you.

I have 2 300mhs scrypt units on order and I expect them by sept 15

How are those spoondoolies machines selling anyway?

I also say really nice things about Simon at Hashra - I've bought several items from him and have one of his new 24 MHS units on order which I hope to have by the end of the month. I endorse him also because he's been straight up with me, honest, communicative and not beyond answering some tough question I've had for him.

Smiley

Have you received your 24MHS miner?

the answer is no because that is not what I have on order

What do you have on order? When do you expect delivery?

Is there anywhere I can go to see total hash rate for Syscoin?

I'm not a miner myself but I'd like to keep track of how popular the coin is with miners.

Block explorer : http://blockexperts.com/sys

looks like a lot of people didn't get the memo that syscoin network hash is up over 13 Gh/s and it's harder to mine the coins ...why would anyone in their right mind sell so cheaply...

I guess logic really does defy reality...

Block Number 17484 has been discovered by NewMinerGuy with a total value of 143.06467836 SYS!  on http://sys.lifeforce.info.  The current difficulty is 152.68438296.

Is this the regeneration fees being added back in?

cool: 143 coins per block

Plus we're currently giving away an additional 10 coins to block finders!

yes, looks like the same chain i am on...height=107985, so all should be fine. Seems that it is taking a while before a PoW block is found with current diff tho...lots of PoS blocks..

great thanks

looks like you are using the current source yes...

that last getinfo you posted does not look right...it must still be updating the data, and has not fully downloaded the blockchain..

By the way - In Celebration of the Fork at Block 17,000

I am going to give away 5,000 SYS in the form of a 10 Sys Bonus on 500 blocks found at the place where I mine

I am not permitted to advertise so - you'll have to look at my signature...

I don't want to get banned again for saying the 'P' word...  Roll Eyes

Volume is rising. Definitely a good sign.

Sys going to explode anytime now?

Probably!

Remember, I said it here first. Sys will be worth 5000 satoshi when the volume reaches it's critical mass.

Needed mining, new features. Probably even higher than that.

you are way too low: 50,000 sat!!!

is this the current source?

Huh

Both my wallet and the tag explorer are showing block 107927, same on Coinwarz - what are you showing?

I checked the tag explorer db, and on block 107680 it showed diff of 115, and the next block diff was 14, so that might have been a split.  - best to get everyone using the same chain, but it seems only a few people are not and that may include the 2 or 3 mining pools listed.

Use my current IP address to get back on track if you want - 86.203.163.78 - I have 15 active connections listed so far, so pretty sure I am on the right chain..

Here are the other peers connected to my wallet...

four days ago I withdrew money from my zencloud account and transferred it to my coinbase account.

the money never arrived

I opened a support ticket - four days later - no response at all from those people

In addition their system does not give you a transaction id - so you're screwed

thus far they've screwed me out of a $99 and I'm afraid to even attempt to withdrawl the $40 sitting my account.

I was told that GAW has teken them over and have found Gaw tech support to be excellent, but these Zencloud people are a whole nother story and it's not a good story,.

In the For What It's worth department

about 15 minutes ago I transferred 1 coin from my new wallet to my account on Mintpal

15 minutes later ... it has not shown up yet....

that's not to say it won't soon, but it has not in 15 minutes.

Blocks moving a bit slow right now.

You can probably find the transaction in the block explorer here http://www.blockexperts.com/sys

lol - this sucks - glad it was only 1 coin
