The Tangem cards in the trial kit actually look better in person than photos, very high tech and well made. They also function flawlessly with the Android app.

Thanks for the feedback! We will update the photos soon.
XRP and LTC cards are on the way.

Nice to know..how about some Monero cards? Cheers Cheesy

Maybe later. Now we don't have any requests for the Monero blockchain support.

Tangem uses a closed source application and is not open source. Be careful. They could steal your keys.
It's cheap for a reason because the product is of low quality. They could be enticing customers so they can eventually steal keys. You should not trust a third party to store your keys. They could could have copys of your keys via their app. Sounds fishy. Be Cautious. The creator of opendime has also expressed concerns about the security of tangem. Would recommend opendime instead.

Our card's security is proved by the external audit: https://research.kudelskisecurity.com/2018/08/06/audit-of-tangems-smartcard-wallet-code/amp/
We do this analysis for every firmware version used for production.

You can find some demo code sources and our iOS app on the GitHub: https://github.com/TangemCash
Our Android app sources would be available there in the near future.

Cardano guys made a check of our cards, before placing an order. No backdoors were found.
The proof is here:

Suggestion: maybe delete the phrase "Celebrating 10 Year of Bitcoin Talk, 2009-2019" also the stylized blooming onion bitcoin design just place the bitcoin wizard in the clean white space using as much color as possible. You could even move the bitcointalk.org to the very bottom replacing the quote to provide more clean white space for the wizard logo. I just really like the wizard:-)

I like the wizard too! Smiley But we cannot print him on the transparent plastic because of tech restrictions.

We can use a white card for the wizard, but we need someone with excellent drawing skills to make the card look neat.

At $5 a pop I'd say it would be easy to make an order for 1,000 of the suckers. Could give the designer 50 cards or whatever too if people would vote for it Smiley.

Great idea! We can officially offer 50 cards as a reward for the design.

Also, as discussed in the coin thread, we can offer some cards that can be given by the moderators to the most active forum members. Let's estimate the number of cards needed.

I would be in for 100 @$5 each.

I don't mind the design Tangem posted but would make a couple of changes. I think the forum blue would be more suitable and the bitcointalk.org should be a little bit higher.

Original from Tangem:

I quite like the blue scheme to fit with the forum and agree on the text placement movement.

Would be interested in a good amount. Very cool project coming along here.

Although the one further detail...I'd prefer not to have the theymos quote.

Sure, we can change the colors and add\remove the text easily.

We are still looking forward to finding some new ideas for the design.

Just read the thread for the first time.  Throwing my name in the hat as a buyer as well.  Still want to see a coin come together as well.  Possibly same type design could be used for the card and the coin and be sold off as a 2 piece set.
Unfortunately, coin-making is not our business.

We can offer just a 'fake', plastic coin Grin Just received some samples. https://ibb.co/1vcY3KV

@Tangem https://i.ibb.co/fGcvBtz/Tangem-btt.png looks good if not colorful, needs to "pop". Wording should be "Celebrating 10 Years" you left off the "s". If that wizard artwork could fit on the card it should be impressive. However maybe too many colors?
Too many colors for the transparent card. We can do it on white, but we need someone to make a brand new design using the wizard picture.
The style is too different from our standard design to mix them.

Bitcointalk.org unfortunately does not have a distinctive logo just a generic created in SMF. However it might be possible with permission to use the logo of bitcoin.org:

I converted the original SVG image to PNG. Perhaps bitcoin in the logo could just be changed to bitcointalk.org. A collaboration between the community here and Tangem would be cool! @13TNLjs3oLfvTNuyb5ZL92DkG if a limited edition card is created, perhaps a run of 1000, can the cards be serialized? I would also suggest that like the trial kit the cards be fully reusable, unlimited times, but with a printed value of 0.01 bitcoin.

The Android app can already be downloaded, and especially if reusable I think these will give Coldkey some stiff competition.
Maybe someone here has ideas for logo of the Bitcointalk?

Sure cards would be fully reusable. Serializing of the cards is an easy task. However, I think that we should not use denomination (printed value) on the cards: the cards would arrive unloaded, perhaps someone would like to load them with a different amount.

Here is an idea from a post in the thread discussing a collectible coin for the anniversary of the forum:

Rather than a collectible coin consider 1000 serialized custom reusable Tangem cards instead.

I will try to find the designer, who can extend this into the card design.

As an option, we can make something 'boring' using our design template:
