I'm a developer, and I can donate a few hours a week to help with the project. I would, for example, start by updating the website.
I invested in BTC and some other coins, including MINT, back in 2014, and so I'd love to see MINT gain some traction. A professional looking website could go a long way in making people pay more attention to MINT.
Please let me know if you'd like me to help, and how can I do so.
It also looks like the wallet is not working well. I downloaded the wallet, and I can see my MINT as "unconfirmed", but the wallet remains out of sync. Does anyone know if the wallet still works?
I am beginning to wonder if there isn't an issue with the wallet. I have been staking MINT for many years, I open the wallet, let it sync, then unlock and let it roll for a few days. It has always worked for me. Now, for the last 4-6 weeks, this is what I get:  If I'm not mistaken, a balance of almost 900,000 MINT should net ~128 per day @ 5% Interest from staking used to be right on the money, now, it doesn't seem to be functioning. If this issue is wide spread, and isn't fixed quick, MINT will go down for the count. I see a handful of nodes running 2.0.3. Why wasn't this wallet released to the community? Additionally, the 2.0.2 wallet locks up for 30 seconds to a minute at a time, is good for 15 seconds, then locks up again. It has pretty much always done this, even though it previously staked correctly. THIS WALLET NEEDS HELP!! Consolidate your coins. I had 20M coins that were staking at all different times etc..... it became too much for the computer. Send them all to your self at one time. One wallet with one big amount in it. (Pay a good fee so it doesn't get stuck in limbo) Worked for me a couple of times so far. |

I have always thought that mintcoin would be/stay in the top 100 coins. I guess that holding your coins and minting new ones affects the market. There isn't as much movement because we are holding.
Very innovative coin with a great brand name.

It won't sync because it wont stop pumping in new rewards from the network long enough to do any syncing. Then any new coins get rejected as orphans because I'm not synced.
Solution: Download the full blockchain or use the snapshot and make sure your chain is fully updated BEFORE you unlock your wallet for minting. Also consolidate all of your coins into one transaction. I had so many mint coins minting at all time of day and night, until I sent all my coins to myself in one transaction. 20M. It's been a while and I'm going to do it again soon so my computer can get some rest.. |

I've been hoping this coin would make a comeback. I switched to mining only this coin for awhile since I saw its potential, but it was also difficult to tell what may be a pump and dump back then. This one gave people incentive to hold onto the coins, especially the first couple years with higher returns.
Still see a lot of potential in this coin, especially if we can get it distributed to a greater number of people.
I'd be curious to see how many coins the top wallets have.

I have been mining/holding/minting this coin since day 1. Apparently the Eurocoin isn't working too well as I sent transactions out yesterday and network still hasn't confirmed 24 hours later.

Some things defy logic and understanding. Mint is an established coin. Has a big following of holders who do stake.
Price down to 3 - 4 sats means the exchanges don't understand holding is the reason the low exchange volume.

I think this is a great coin and have been holding and buying more since the beginning.
Poloniex and ShapeShift removed MINT. Since then we've been added to multiple new exchanges. There hasn't been much news lately but work continues on multiple fronts in the background. I think this is a great coin and have been holding and buying more since the beginning.
Poloniex and ShapeShift removed MINT. Since then we've been added to multiple new exchanges. There hasn't been much news lately but work continues on multiple fronts in the background. I think these exchanges don't get it with Mintcoin and similar coins that give interest. We don't sell 'em because they earn money every 20 days. So yeah, there's not a ton of action on Mint......... But to de-list a coin like Mint with a great history. Come on!!!!!!! |

A few thousand dollars worth could send the market right back up there. It could go even lower too if people dump. Markets go up and down. That's just how free markets work.
Overall, Mintcoin is on a long-term uptrend. Drops in the price are necessary after price rises, to test out where support s are at. It is healthy.
What I've seen happening is price declining on low volume. This is in no way a bad thing.

Thanks, but the nodes do not work anymore. i just tried to sync but after waiting 40 minutes i gave it up :/ My wallet is not synchronized , a number of node address it？

Is there anyway around the false positive on some antiviruses? Other wise i have to move my mint to a web wallet or exchange or completely move out of mint while waiting for a good time to buy back when problem is solved. Is there a web wallet for mint where i can stake?
There is a work around, switch antivirus programs. Microsoft security essentials works pretty well and is free. Defender is good on Win8 or later. Neither of these programs have a problem with mint and they are also pretty light on resources. BitDefender didn't flag it as virus also malware bytes didn't. Running fine on win7 |
