Economy / Services / help wanted: Create training videos for Electron Cash
|
on: May 26, 2018, 08:55:13 PM
|
I want to create a set of training videos for the Electron Cash (BCH) wallet.
This will be done in 3 stages:
1. Storyboard/script made for each screen 2. Screen capture video with narration done for each screen 3. Professional voice over redone to redo the narration.
I will pay generously for this service but you must prove yourself. I don't waste time on idiots. I won't reply to random questions.
Send me a sample of your work. (Do a screen or two). You must fully understand the wallet (or 95% at least).
it has to be short, punchy, and concise explanation of buttons and screens..rambling amateur shit wont fly here :p ...while still explaining all features and functionality most important skill are to understand wallet well, and explain all functionality in an easy-to-understand, concise, professional, and clear way.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is the Real BTC That fulfills Satoshi Nakamoto White Paper

increasing the blocksize (perhaps by a more conservative amount) is something that core could easily adopt, negating any advantage of BCH.
Not easily. They would need to convince 51%+ of the miners, including the miners they treated badly in the past...and unbrainwash their followers to believe HF are no longer bad , etc... there is a big risk of a chain split. plus there is still the absense of segwit ,and also decentralized development, which are nice advantages to BCH. Besides, why would core change their plans to allow capacity increase? It defeats the point of everything they want.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018

obviously if they did accept Bitcoin it would be Bitcoin Cash. There's no way Bitcoin Core could scale to do it, fees would be far too high to make any sense. ( no, the "lightning network" isn't coming to save Bitcoin payments. BTC has decided to be a digital gold/store of value.)

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How to claim and sell Bitcoin Gold (BTG)
|
on: November 22, 2017, 01:41:57 PM
|
just a reminder that if you still hold legacy BTC, (or held on Oct 24) you can get (and sell) free BTG. It's a pain in the ass but at almost $250 a coin, might be worth it.
There's been other articles written about this but i'll just give you the summary as I see it. My opinions/method only. Use at your own risk.
Move all your BTC AND BCH to new wallets. Not just new addresses, but new wallets, to be sure safe, because you might be exposing your private keys to the old addresses. Do this very carefully. If your coins are in cold storage, only move via offline signing. If you don't know how to do this confidently and safely you might just consider not doing any of this. Its important to move both BTC and BCH if they are on the same addresses or the same wallet (seed). The reason to be paranoid and use a whole new wallet is that a master public key and a single private key can be used to access the entire wallet.
Once all your coins are safely in cold storage in new wallets, proceed to step 2:
step 2: Download the coinomi wallet. Sweep the private keys of your old addresses into the wallet.
step 3: use changelly or another service to sell your BTG for the coin of your choice.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If every bitcoiner owns bitcoin cash, why all the fuss?

Why does it matter if bitcoin cash over takes bitcoin, if everyone who owns bitcoin got free bitcoin cash coins? If bitcouin cash will be valued more, you will still have the money.
unfortunately a lot of people were fooled into dumping their bitcoin cash. They should buy it back now, even at a loss. Better to hedge than risk major losses.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who is pumping Bitcoin Cash?

So much denial and ignorance about what is happening here.
Bitcoin Cash is exploding because 2x failed.
Why?
Because it means bitcoin core chain will not scale. It's freaking simple.
Bitcoin Cash is going to have lower fees, faster confirmations, and its going to be more usable.
Bitcoin Core has chosen to relegate itself to a store of value only, which is dubious. ...Or bet on some future off chain scaling that is just as shaky.
Agreed, but why was there a short delay, some even talked about a relief rally after segwit fork was called off? BTC/BCC should have moved right away but it didn't. I guess now people can vote with their money whether they want digital gold or a payment network What do you think about Bitcoin gold btw? Delay because it wasn't an expected announcement like some orange crop reports (lol)... people found out at different times that 2x was cancelled...and also took people a little while to grasp what it meant (just theorezing here). Bitcoin gold i dont see going places... premine, very small dev community, faulty premise (that we can decentralized better without ascis), and also has segwit.

Just convert 20% of your BTC to BCH and hedge that. That will give you 1:1 hedge and you'll do well no matter what.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: fair warning. Hedge at least 1:1 with BCH or risk losing everything

Or, you could stop trying to trick the newbies in here into making bad, uninformed trades. While BCH raises the blocksize and allows more transactions to fit in blocks, many people agree that it's best to use the new technology available to us (Scnorr signatures, LN) to fit more transactions in the space we have before we resort to increasing the block size.
You're welcome to your opinion too. Just don't say you weren't warned.
