2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin The King Of Crypto on: October 09, 2019, 12:15:50 PM
This is one such reason due to which when there is a sudden pump or dump in BTC price altcoins fall to hell. BTC stands as backbone. Cool
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: October 09, 2019, 12:12:15 PM
I think irreversible property is required and if some address is proven as fraud then the address should be banned for withdrawal and the funds in the address can be given to the person how took the effort to report the fraud and prove it.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 12:02:52 PM
I think decentralising property related matter is complicated. actually, confusing. How can property be managed on blockchain. Something like the sending the property doc to the address of the buyer? When we do not know who holds the address then how can we figure out to whom does the land belong.

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience in Arbitrage trading? on: September 17, 2019, 09:59:20 AM
There is something called as triangular arbitrage which is explained here in an article: https://medium.com/@BlockchainEng/cryptocurrency-triangular-arbitrage-november-2018-update-bfb00362ef21. Can not explain you much on it as even I an in exploring stage.

For arbitrage one thing that you can do is first fetch the rates of different exchanges through their API's and then compare them. If you find a considerable change available set an alert. This can be first step which can be tested and improved further.
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New scam attempt [careful] on: September 17, 2019, 09:52:54 AM

Sir, even if the thread is locked we can report to the moderator right?

I found this option. Is this what you were stating?
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free listing exchanges on: September 17, 2019, 09:38:03 AM
OP I would suggest you to drop mail to the support team of exchanges where you want to list your coin. They will let you know their procedure.

Or, you can even join the exchange telegram or discord group and ask the admin for the details.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Could you recommend me educational websites to learn cryptocurrencies on: September 17, 2019, 09:23:36 AM
I suggest you to read Mastering Bitcoin one of the book that I like and enjoyed reading. It is hard to understand everything that is given in the book by reading it once but, will give you a wide sketch.

Internet of money is also a good book to read.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism on: September 17, 2019, 07:44:27 AM
I read your thread and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0 where people have reported for plagiarism. What I could take from all the discussion was that if you read something, understand and write/explain in your own words then it is not plagiarism. All this is when you just copy paste and put zero effort from your end and do not even give credits(mention) the original writer then you are misusing the article and you are punished(banned) for the same.

But, If you are here for knowledge then keep reading and where ever someone wants the knowledge you know just reply that as per your level of understanding. That is what is knowledge sharing right?

There are sites that checks plagiarism. I randomly picked one when I was reading the above thread and checked the reported replies the percentage plagiarism was more that 70-80%. In general one writes an answer on his/her own words then such answers are sometimes matching 30-40% that may be because of the general English sentences.

Is this how the moderators with the plagiarism thread or do they have a effective way to catch the culprits?
11  Other / Archival / Re: {For Fun} Bitcointalk Crossword Puzzle on: September 17, 2019, 06:59:40 AM

Is it really required to know the moderators or other top accounts?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: September 16, 2019, 12:34:12 PM
I would say that  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes hmm the transparency and the decentralised nature of this currency is the reason why I am after it.

There is this weird though that always runs on my mind whenever I see my Instagram account of FB account. There are so many people who post there day in and day out activities and this technology gives you such a huge opportunity to stay anonymous at a large extent.

You might be thinking why am I posting it here, the main reason is there is complete transparency that which address has how many funds/from where the fund were sent/where currently the funds are and all. But, If I get paid in crypto to my wallet and trade or hold it noone really knows How much I hold as a individual.

In simple what I feel is in this dramatic(fake) non-anonymous world there is some technology that has both transparency(opposite to fake) and anonymity. That is it has required amount of freedom for everyone.

Hope I could convey my thoughts properly.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: tell us 3 mistakes you do when you start trading on: September 16, 2019, 12:02:24 PM
I think this are the basic mistakes that everyone faces in the initial stage of trading.

  • Prioritising emotion over analysis
  • Not setting proper stop-loss
  • Trusting on signals flowing on social media
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for a poor newbie on: September 16, 2019, 11:33:39 AM
New user-> 100% BTC -> read/learn -> Portfolio of coins/ trading.

This is what I prefer doing. Initial stage is not for portfolio.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Be Alert] Browser Extensions help scammers steal bitcoin on: September 16, 2019, 11:24:48 AM
Three most important and basic things that can be done are:

  • Storing funds offline. like in hardware wallet
  • Do not store your passwords/phrases/2FA online
  • Stop downloading unnecessary software and adding of extensions

Downloading of stupid software can insert malware in your system. Even if you delete the software later but, the malware won't be deleted.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning from crypto currency on: September 16, 2019, 11:17:03 AM
My way of understanding the ways of "Earning Crypto or any currency" is use of your skillset in a efficient way which will reward you as a income. Even trading is the same thing, you using your analysis skills to increase your funds. I can explain more deep on this.

Suppose that one has a good content writing skills. He/she can start learning and writing about the block chain technology and crypto and gradually build a profile on social media and then the profile starts getting promotional article writing offers. Such offers can be wisely chosen and can earn in Crypto.

Once with good presentation can learn and start a YouTube channel and the similar thing goes with that person. Building profile and start earning.

So, based on a persons skill set they earn. It is a very subjective thing every individual can not be a successful trader or a good right. It completely depends on every individual.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best crypto currency ever to trade in ? on: September 12, 2019, 10:07:48 AM
There is no hard and fast rule that can get you a list of best performing coins. Even if you have a list that can change anytime if there is news against that coin. Also, it is never healthy way to trust on others signals and invest.

Few basic things that you need to follow to minimise the losses:
  • Be updated with the news
  • Do not blindly trust on any signal
  • Read and experiment as much as you can
  • Use tools like test net for experience
  • Do not let the emotion override your bets
  • Always, Always have stop loss
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it Plus Token or Cloud Token legit ? on: September 12, 2019, 09:54:15 AM
I had read that plus token is a spam

Quoting some lines from the article:
Quote
A little-known Chinese cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme might be cashing out billions of dollars, which was looted through a scam called “Plus Token” from people from China, Japan and South Korea.

Another crypto scam has recently come into the limelight when the venture capitalist Dovey Wan tweeted about Plus Token, a failed Chinese cryptocurrency. According to Wan, this China-based Plus Token is a crypto Ponzi scheme and it might be liquidating portions of a reported $3.5 billion in stolen cryptocurrency via various crypto exchanges.
