I'm not giving up on this coin yet. Mining right now in the pool. Dev has to step forward and tell about his/her future association with the coin. If the dev is not interested the community can take over.
I'm not wanting to give up either, but the pool costs money to run. We really need the dev to get interactive with the community. I hope he's not just "coding" another coin right now! lol It's going to be up to the community as to how long my pool survives. As long as there's interest, it's open. To try to breathe some life into BRD, I'm doing the giveaway today, and instead of 25% I'm going to put some of mine in the mix so there's 3m up for grabs. Good luck! Hi Edric! If this gets on an exchange, is everyone going to dump? I'm not. I do not plan to dump.
I hope that not everyone does. I'd like for BRD to be worth more than 1 satoshi, lol. I'm working on getting my pools to be self-sustaining for a start, then work on making a real income off after that, while still offering competitive fees, incentives, and excellent service for people who select my pools. When is your Pool Draw ? Drawing is going to be Thursday. Looks like around 300k is up for grabs. I'm putting my personal earnings in the mix as well so may be a little more. Here's how it's going to work. I find the number of users at the time of the drawing in the DB, then do a random(number of users here) and I will take the number it returns (userID), find username from that, and then verify that they are eligible (they received any payout over the week), then send them the prize winnings. If the userID drawn isn't eligible, or it's me, I just repeat the process til I find one that is. I'm just wondering since the prize is such a big one if I should pick 2 winners and split it? What do you guys think? I really want to offer you guys something that other pools do not, an added value for mining with me. A Birdcoin address please? the dev team wishes to donate 1 Million Birdcoins towards this drawing, and 500k towards your pool. THE BIRD  lol, where the heck have you been? We fixed your wallet, got pools ( http://birdcoinpool(dot)tk) and a block explorer going, and started negotiations with some exchanges while you were MIA! We had your back and didn't let it die off while you were gone so shoot us a little bit of that premine  Anyway, whatever you have planned for a new logo, give support@xnigma.com an email and show him and let him know what's planned, I exchanged a few emails with him earlier, linked him to the source code I modded and he's got a wallet running but was wanting to see a new logo, something he can show on the site that'll catch the eye. I was thinking something like an "angry bird"-ish face (but discernably different so as not to create copyright issues) on a shiny coin would be kind of cool, but I'm no artist and no good with Photoshop. What do you guys think?? Client Update coming with new logo. |
