Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration

The fact is that a lot of developers run with the money plus we had a lot of clear scam/ponzie schemes involved.
Prices for altcoins reached incredible heights. Coins that were completely useless managed to reach billion dollar cap valuations and of course started dumping their infinite amount of premined coins. This created a bad feeling for investors and everyone else involved. Most have already written-off their investments and don't actually hope that shitcoins as PAC, Linda, XP, Sumo or other laughable ones have any hope of ressurecting.
There are quite a few that have a hope though. These are the ones that have an actual developing team and the people involved are skilled and enjoy their involvement, without only looking for short term gains. Right now there are established coins that are working and don't give up and people that want to succeed and not only get rich quick after a short pump.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"?

I doubt there will be another alt season. All looks too weak now after we made these people rich.
There is no trust in these coins as they are not decentralized and creators hold vast amounts ready to dump when they see fit.
Lately there is no trust in any altcoin. I doubt anything will be succesful again. Perhaps if ten million clueless people start randomly buying altcoins after a new Bitcoin ATH you and I can offload all the shitcoins we have.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of you Bitcoin Hodlers are mentally ill - *Must Read!

Hodl means you don't trade your position with every up and down of the market. Hodl basically means you chose to buy bitcoin and hold on to it for years because you are convinced that Bitcoin will not only be a great investment but also a means of payments. Guy that misspelled the word hold has explained everything. Your comment is about making hodlers move their stash and start trading. This is not their mentality. Most hodlers actually don't care much about the price.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Final Hunt for the Real Satoshi Nakamoto - Hoffman Investigation
|

Is it Tuesday again? Another week, another worthless piece of crap Satoshi impersonator. Another scammer wasting everyone's time.
Bitcointalk should gain a feature where if you ever write "I have met the real Satoshi Nakamoto" or similar, your account is locked and all your posts are hidden, and you just get a message box that pops up asking for a signature from the genesis block key of the message "please unban <account name>".
Scammers should get banned indeed. Although the scam here, if there is one, has not unveiled yet. I think it would be funnier to see where he is going with this.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance on CoinMarketCap
|
on: November 04, 2019, 12:58:56 PM

I'm expecting Bitcoin dominance to reach 80% perhaps 90% and stay there for all 2020. After that we will have a clear picture of surviving and abandoned altcoins. I'm just hoping coinmarketcap removes at least 2 thousand of them.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed
|

I once invested in one project because of FOMO. The project is discussed by everyone in the group and every day there will be news that appears. I am still holding and analyzing, then I am interested in investing some of my funds in it. When the token sale is complete, just wait for listing on the exchange. But until now the project has not been listed anywhere and tokens have become junk.
looks like most of the projects I've participated with. Most of them just want quick buck. Even if they are not scam and end up listing on an exchange they will eventually start selling according to their plan. The price will not hold as there are only a few investors left for altcoins and watch only a couple of new projects that have connections and probably a decent product. At this point the right strategy if you invest is to dump on exchange as soon as they get listed. Even listing on Binance doesn't help much anymore. They will see a quick pump and dump and nothing else.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens if China Lifts Ban On Bitcoin?
|

I think the plan China has now is to sell help the chinese coins offload their quadrillion of coins to the west and the rest of the world. They care only about promoting a government owned blockchain that won't be decentralized in order to better track their population. Nothing else.
