You can't have altcoin season as altcoins are still overpriced. You might see from time to time, one out of tens of thousands making 100x, but it would be quite impossible to predict.

Also most of the 2017 alts will probably never recover to make a new ATH. Their teams failed to create value. So it is better to try and find new upcoming projects that are undervalued and have potential. I highly doubt that projects that did thousands of times movements in 2017 will become relevant again as cryptocurrencies.

Right now we have thousands of exchanges offering ridiculous IEO's and cryptocurrencies used by nobody. In 2017 it was like 5 big exchanges and 10 smaller ones that managed to pump every shitcoin.
I remember in cryptopia one day I bought every coin that was valued at 1 sat. They pumped all of them in a few days to 10-100x.

Sadly this isn't happening again. There is no actual interest right now like we had in 2017. We just have Tether pumping now. I don't see a short term pump for altcoins.

I even doubt that Bitcoin can stay above 10k for the next few days.

The only solution is weekly payments in Ethereum.

Anything else is dangerous as you might work for a project and never get paid, or get paid in useless coins that have no value.

Is there a place to see how much funds in $ the dev team has or at least in BCT and Waves? Buy backs should only be done if there is lots of extra money and really nothing better to do with the money. I dont mind a buy back in the sense that it will make the price go up. Looking from an organizational perspective is it the best thing? Especially if the tokens bought back will again find their way back to the market to cover development costs as per the tweet.

I don't quite understand. Sasha will buy 2 million waves and then burn them to raise the price?

Burst was my favorite altcoin in 2017 along with Digibyte. What happened and it fell so much though. It used to be at top-100 coin. Is competition so tough lately?

NEM used to be in top-10 for many years. It is sad that it paid the price for the Coincheck exchange weak security. It started droping from this moment and never recovered.

Sadly most exchanges have fake volumes and close to zero actual people trading. 99% of altcoins were going down to 0 anyway.

Bomb is the starting point of deflationary tokens. The people behind it understand exactly how this market works, having many years on their backs promoting altcoins.
It will definitely become more valuable than it is right now.

It will happen. A price dump that will shaken the bitcoin market again. Maybe it will be for the last rodeo though. It will be fast. Once the buyers from the FOMO 20k price sell their coin, a lot will also be buying for a cheaper price.

Only one I see buying above 10k are braindead day-traders at a youtube channel going long at any dip they find and start crying once the dip goes further. It's so funny that a so called expert trader is waking up, moving in front of his screens and without any real indicator or equation just moves up and down a few lines to match with a so called target price.
So besides these speculators that are ready to go short/long depending on 5minute candle trend, noone actually wants to buy at 10k.
Whales even tried unleashing twitter bots with 100K bought followers to convince people to buy at 13K. Some fake accounts with names like "Bitcoin Bull", calling for unimaginary wealth in 2020. What a load of Bullshit.

Isn't it already an alternative option for payments? Most merchants already know Bitcoin exists. Some are eager to learn more about it and incorporate it into their payment options. Still merchant adoption was on it's peak when Bitcoin was stable at around 200-400$. Price fluctuations probably cause more problems for corporations.

You seriously think facebook won't go full force against Bitcoin, but let it live side by side with their coin? Do you have any idea about their strategy all these years? Do you understand how companies like Microsoft, Apple and Facebook became the titans they are now? Facebook will 100% try to eradicate competition and bring the price of Bitcoin to zero. And they have a good chance in succeeding.
