21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with nonsignificant altcoins on: January 23, 2021, 03:17:43 PM
If you aren't confident with what you are holding kindly sell the tokens and coins on exchange for better popular coins and if you think you have already make enough profits just sell for FIAT and wait for price dump to buy back again but mind you Monero is a big coin, same as XLM
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDO is going to replace IEO? on: January 23, 2021, 03:15:18 PM
After failing of ICO investor's fees safe in IEO. That is why IEO in exchange like binance is highly demandable. But now a new type of coin offering called IDO launched. Most of the DeFi projects like to do token sales there and projects like polkastarter, poolz who are offering these services gain massive success. So what do you think IEO trends is going to fade away and IDO will take its place?

Before from ICO, it turned into IEO, then in the end it became same as the ICO where scammers entered it as well.
So, I think IDO will do the same thing for sure in the long run where it will only be good in the beginning then at the last
it will also become bad in the sight of many of the community for sure.

Many projects like to join DEX instead of CEX. In CEX most of the time, we saw market manipulation which can not be done easily on DEX. Also, IEO is launched on a centralized exchange when IDO launched on a platform that is mostly decentralized. Actually, it is a combination of ICO and IEO both together. One of the key advantages of IDO over IEO is for IEO you need to pay a great number of fees when for IDO you don't.
Think about the IDO payment  for fundraising, it's like paying nothing at all, you expect it to be more costly than IEO? Of cos not, that's why many new projects will rush to IDO just because it cost too less
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDO is going to replace IEO? on: January 23, 2021, 03:11:49 PM
IDO isn't capable to replace IEO, IDO isn't even up to polkastarter potential right now, not even MakerDao fundraising that's called DYCO, IEO will be here for a very long time because that seem to be the only fundraising that carries about what happened to the investors
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any Legitimate Vendors to Buy Asic Miners from?? asicminermarket.com?? on: January 22, 2021, 04:17:11 PM
Seems to be so many scammers selling ASIC miners. New to this space and need some help can't afford to get scammed.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

If you don't know I think you should right now, scammers are creating their own fake asic miner stores online this days, do not use any websites that are selling asic miners like the one in your topic, use only official source or popular stores to order your asic miners
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounty hunters on: January 22, 2021, 04:13:10 PM
I have seen so many bounty people make multiple accounts and cheat bounty campaign, is it not possible for forum or bounty managers to make kyc compulsory for bounty guys?
Those who have done kyc will get instant approval

You do have a point but it would have make more sense if all KYC requesting projects can pay bounty hunters, I'm guessing you haven't join a bounty campaign that ask for KYC and still not pay bounty hunters in the end and they went to list on exchanges like no one can hold them for not paying hunters.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is this myfundsback.com legit? on: January 22, 2021, 04:10:37 PM
You can only give more information about the scam, might be useful for those who can keep track on scammers but the chances are slim in crypto space, the money is gone already unless the team leave some tracks behind, forget the coin and move on or risk spending more for nothing
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: January 21, 2021, 03:58:29 PM
XRP is a TOP altcoin, that's enough for many to still believe that SEC isn't enough to bring down this wonderful project, if XRP manages to accomplish it goals it's value will never remains the same again, many powerful organizations are eyeing XRP, that's a certainty
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hashnest, good working service? on: January 21, 2021, 03:56:41 PM
Are cloud mining still profitable? The answer is no, they are complete waste of time, Hashnest is legit if that's what you are here for but believe me it's way better to start mining coins in your home than entrusting your money to others
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 21, 2021, 03:46:27 PM
You got this right boss  Cool ,bitcoin is a true economy changer, in nigeria when bitcoin was getting popular their government warned they to desist from the technology because it's bubble, scam, pyramid etc but now that the economy situation is getting more worse I'm not surprised to see even the government encouraging youths to go after bitcoin, so laughable  Grin Grin Grin
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Self moderating campaigns on: January 20, 2021, 02:50:54 PM
Self moderated bounties are red flag but to be 100% sure you have to do some diggings yourself, try to ask questions and see how the team of that project will reply, also judge the project with it's use case, you can even ask why the bounty is self moderated, there is nothing wrong in asking
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I suggest raising the topic of bounty companies!!! on: January 20, 2021, 02:30:03 PM
Hi Friends!

My name is Vladimir, I'm from Russia.

I suggest raising the topic of bounty companies!!!

I myself have been engaged in the promotion of projects (bounty) for two years, during this time I noticed that most companies simply treat other people's work in bad faith, in other words they don't pay for the work done.

I want to suggest to the bitcointalk and everyone who is in this thread to change the payment of the bounty company, pay once a week, or pay ETH
In my opinion, this will help to eliminate scams!!!

Your idea isn't bad at all but not every bounty projects will agreed to this because of few different reasons, some haven't even create their tokens yet and some have not raised any penny yet too, it's better to accept the risks involved in bounties and choose projects wisely, quality projects aren't that hard to detect
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance not paying competition winners. on: January 20, 2021, 02:27:20 PM
I'm sure binance exchange knew nothing about this airdrop, binance exchange is big enough and they value their reputation, I've never seen them owing anyone any promised tokens or coin, the last Airdrop that binance exchange did in 2020 was 100 Trust wallet (TWT) to all KYC verified users
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: January 19, 2021, 07:21:11 PM
The problem with high gas fee will be fixed very soon through the EIP 1559 update, it's just that this is a bad news for Ethereum miners ad their mining reward will now be lower than before, it has something to do with the congestion,
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: January 19, 2021, 07:15:28 PM
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?
Ethereum supply isn't fixed like Gold but I'm 100 percent sure that Gold never be valueless as other currency. I will accept Bitcoin cost but Transaction per second is very very slow. After this problem Bitcoin can be more valuable than gold where we don't know the accurate supply of gold.
There are few other cryptos apart from Bitcoin that are more valuable than gold, what gold can't give investors is insane amount of ROI and that's possible when investing on crypto, also to make good amount of money with gold requires good amount of investment, with crypto you can make huge money with just 100$ worth of investment

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and airdrops at the end of 2020 on: December 30, 2020, 08:11:32 AM
Hello experienced and respected Bitcointalk users! The bottom line is that I am a poor student with a small dream that requires an investment of money and time. And it is very difficult to earn money during a pandemic and with living conditions in the village-like city. So I have a question. Is it realistic to make money on bounties and airdrops at the moment? How long will it take me, with my current status on forum, the lack of a three-digit number of subscribers on social networks and other experience. If possible, I would be very grateful for any advice, because I have no experience other than participating in airdrops in 2017.
P.S. I apologize to the moderators if I broke any rules in creating a topic etc.
It depends on how hardworking you are and the fact is to make it in this life you have to be so determined, even if failure comes you can easily keep doing what you do best without having the quiting mindset, start with Airdrops on https://airdropbob.com ,this is a good airdrop source, also if you can rank up on this forum you can consider promoting projects someday, my advice is to know about crypto very well before embarking on this journey
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of buying XRP at present? on: December 30, 2020, 08:06:57 AM
Since the price of XRP is the lowest at the present time, what is the possibility of profit if I buy it at the present time? This project will not be in the market and will go away.
Yes the price is low but buying is too risky because SEC is on XRP ass as we speak, even if XRP manage to defeat SEC one way or the other the profit won't be much compare to other coins like Ethereum, ETC, LTC, XMR, BTC, if XRP team know what's good for them they will change location once they are done with SEC
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the power of HOLD and believe on: December 29, 2020, 11:55:06 AM
as we know, the price of Bitcoin had a bear run in 2018 with the lowest price at $3k on Dec 17, 2018 and now the price of Bitcoin has reached $25k and this is the new ATH price for Bitcoin, so if you buy Bitcoin in 2018 and HOLD until now, then you can get a profit of more than 700% and I also congratulate those of you who HOLD or bought Bitcoin in 2018 when the price of Bitcoin dump.
It depends on how much they buy bitcoin in the past, some buy at 20,000$ in 2017, the extra 5000$ isn't worth the wait since four years now but all the same it's still better than not getting anything at all but I believe that altcoin can bring better ROI than btc hopefully soon
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: December 29, 2020, 11:43:40 AM
If my answers can be answered through any telegram group I'm ok with that but I will never make a decision by how active a project telegram groups is, both good and bad projects have weird telegram groups, sometimes they answer questions faster and sometimes a bit late
40  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: December 29, 2020, 11:32:29 AM
If I had a million dollars of, I would buy myself some time, quality time.
It is the most valuable thing to me.
Not to have to go to work every morning and going to the golf course instead... that is life.
You can't buy time, if everyone can buy time all rich people in the world will be immortal, time doesn't wait for anyone in this life, it's better to live a good life, help people and leave behind a good memories for your loved ones, also create a good life for your children, you will be remembered forever
