101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there real initiatives to fight scam in crypto?? on: December 29, 2020, 02:34:46 PM
The only ones fighting scam presently are top exchanges, the platforms that cares about their own reputations won't dare bring you scam exchanges in IEO fundraising when they know what's at stake, SEC on the other hand only hunt for CEX projects, with that I'm not satisfied enough
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: December 29, 2020, 02:32:13 PM
I already sold out all my Bitcoins, and other crypto.

I don't want to risk. i would buy Bitcoin again when it visits $6000 again, maybe next year.

What about you?
You are easy to satisfy that's why you decide to sell right now, some will surely say you sell too early but crypto investment is all about goals and target, if you have one you will know when to quit or exit before things go wrong, you did the right thing
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 5 gpu problem at the same time on: December 28, 2020, 03:39:22 PM

Finally happened. I installed ubuntu first and it seemed very complicated to me. then i installed windows update (october 2020) and 5 gpu is running now. Thank you everyone for their help. I am writing this message for those who have similar problems.
I'm glad the problem is solve, Linux OS can be very complicated to operate but gradually you will get better with it, though using a complete mining OS is way more easier, the interface makes every thing so easy, hiveOS for example is smooth, no need to run any codes
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: All in the name of money making on: December 28, 2020, 03:35:07 PM
The truth is I was once like this, buying a token and hoping it will grow bigger in few years but it got to a certain point I started seeing things more clearly, I later knew that I need more than just a single project to get to my aims, projects failed, got abandoned or turn scam too many time, you don't want to spend your time depending on a single project, believe me it's wrong way
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 27, 2020, 03:12:28 PM
Is there any platform that's give people free loan? You have to tender some collateral before you are given a pass I believe, anyways, what I've noticed is you need your right mind set to make the right decisions when trading crypto so taking loan will even make things more risky, you will be in worries because the money isn't truly yours
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find best Airdrops? on: December 27, 2020, 02:58:35 PM
Good airdrops are always from big projects and big projects don't introduce Airdrop campaigns every time, valuable Airdrops comes once in a month or even more, make sure the airdrop you have interest in is from a big project, Trust wallet token is one of the biggest right now and it's from binance exchange
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hedera Hashgraph is ten times better than Ethereum on: December 26, 2020, 09:20:53 AM
There are other new smart contract projects that are better than Ethereum in terms of technology, Hedera Hashgraph isn't the only one but still the decision isn't yours to make, people can abandon a new tech for old tech, why is Bitcoin taking the top still even when we have better projects that beat bitcoin with new techs? The answer is simple to figure out
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH DAG size and rig Memory on: December 26, 2020, 09:16:51 AM
Add more ram space, I've confirmed that this works for many through reddit platform, if you can change the miner to phoenix miner you can get better result too, I've seen some miners fixing the problem by changing to another Ethereum mining software
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin gave a 230% returns in 2020: will the rally continue? on: December 26, 2020, 09:01:58 AM
I've had enough gains from Bitcoin, I'd leave the rest to those who just jump into Bitcoin investment right now, the higher bitcoin goes he bigger risks, if you are one of those who invested in bitcoin at a cheaper rate 230% gains is more than enough already, been greedy can lead to losses
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to trigger central bank collapse on: December 26, 2020, 08:51:02 AM
I'm dreamt about a world where by all useful digital currencies will co exist with fiat and banks at the same time, one don't need to kill other off to stay alive, all these can all work together, bitcoin can't do shit alone, it's just like trying to eradicate every centralized projects in crypto space when we know how helpful is the existence of USDT is in crypto space
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [ASK] Anyone know about this crypto escrow chesterpact.com on: December 24, 2020, 02:44:56 PM
Hello,

[ASK] Anyone know about this crypto escrow chesterpact.com? Is it legit/trusted escrow?
I'm confused where newbies are getting all these non popular platform and exchanges from, if you are using Google search engine to find platforms and exchanges you need to stop now, there is no way you won't be direct to a scam platform, use crypto forum like Bitcointalk to seek advice and knowledge about crypto, this is the only way to avoid getting caught in scammers big games
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thank God, XRP Ripple going to crap on: December 24, 2020, 02:39:45 PM
I am very happy to see XRP Ripple getting sued by the SEC and going to crap. It was basically a closed system owned by a few people used to milk money out of everyone.

I hope everyone sells off their XRP and the entire 10 billion goes down the slide into history. This will also set a precedent to any private businesses not to try and create a 'currency' which they own all of it as it starts off and try to sell it and milk money out of it.
I'm sure people like you will prefer DeFi projects over XRP, you know what? I will sacrifice every other DeFi projects for XRP, if XRP is what you said it is I wonder what keep the project alive for many years now, many new projects can't even deliver the half success that XRP have delivered in the past years, why the hate?
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non successful projects find it hard to pay on: December 24, 2020, 02:34:44 PM
Are new projects supposed to be well successful today to pay bounty hunters their promised payment? If they raise huge amount of money paying bounty hunters won't be a big problem, am I right ?
There are few projects that failed to meet their fund target but still keep their promise to bounty hunters, the last one was youengine, I'm surprised how reliable this team are even when they failed to raise enough money for their project they still paid every penny owed, many new projects will avoid to pay once they failed to reach hardcap
114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best wallet for cryptocurrency, hardware or software and why? on: December 23, 2020, 01:43:11 PM
Cost of a hardware wallet is not too huge, because its actually under 100 dollars for now maybe in future it will get cheaper due to mass production. If you still looking for a software wallet which is open source then lot of choice available as well.

If you are having lot of altcoins then consider buying a hardware wallet which also can be connected with meta mask for easy access to your funds.
When I entered crypto space I can't even buy 50$ worth of anything, brother 50-100$ isn't a small amount of money for many people, if hardware wallet is cheap everyone would prefer to use them but today software wallets have millions of users, I was able to afford a ledger wallet after 5years of crypto hustling and that's because I have earned good amount of money from trading and other ways
115  Economy / Economics / Re: 2020-2021 best year if You Want to become rich no skills needed on: December 23, 2020, 01:31:45 PM
Its a best time for People to become rich.
Don't need skills just Invest in crypto stocks Gold and take Easy loans

I Think its a best time for People without skills or Much of Knowledge to become wealthy.
 Tongue

When times are hard and no money in circlelation then its hard for People without any skills or education to prospel
Now its a time When a lot money will be Every Where and People like me without skills or education Can Finnally become rich and wealthy

The month of August 2020 was still a very good time to invest in crypto since that's the time you created this topic, not bad at all, the whole idea of making good profits from crypto investments is to always buy low and sell high but advising people to take loan is a wrong advice, newbies are here and believe me they have no idea what they are going into, they can't even manage risks themselves, why can't you show them how to make risks if they take loan? That will be better don't you think?
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria is now the No.2 bitcoin market on: December 22, 2020, 01:12:03 PM
Interesting numbers. I didn't follow the trends/numbers, hence I am surprised. I was expecting China and Russia, maybe Australia too higher ranked than Nigeria.
Also interesting to see that Germany and Russia aren't even in top10.

Hats of for the Nigerians! They seem to know what they're doing.
The economy situation in nigeria is very very poor, crypto is the best thing to turn things around and many young people in this country are fully into crypto trading, this have change the life of many nigerians, the government don't have a solution to the economy problem and youths have been advised to look into digital currency.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Profitability and What to buy ? on: December 22, 2020, 01:08:38 PM
Hey miners !

I built my first gpu rig in early 2016 and now I have more GPUs and 3 ASIC on BTC but I still have my first rig 6x R9 290 mining ETC and DBIX a small bit profitably! (I'm from QC, electricity is not too expensive here) but I will sell those gpu soon.

I am looking to up my mining game, what would you buy those days? ASIC and GPU are hard to find at a good price I know...  Undecided
and if I buy GPU what is my best bet ? 5708G or 1660 or newer card?

I like you all! Vive Bitcoin et les Crypto   Wink  Grin
Buy graphic cards for mining after bull season is over, right now it's best to invest money on altcoin, building mining rigs later will be piece of cake for you because you would have made enough money, you will be able to build the miners of your dream and also have enough money, investing in altcoins is better than investing in miners right now
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: December 21, 2020, 05:19:22 PM
There is some confusion when it comes to BTC Market or USDT Market and sometimes it is difficult to decide to take profit in which currency, BTC or USDT.

I give you an example here and hope anyone can explain in detail.

ETH was 0.035 BTC few months ago and it was around 400$ USD. I did not took the profit and did not sell Eth.

Today, ETH is 0.028 BTC but in USD it is around 540$. (buz BTC price is high)

Now if i had sold it earlier at 0.035 BTC, so today's its worth would have been 660$.

So what's is the best approach in this case to get the maximum profit ?
It depends on which country you are from and what the currency of your country is to 1 Dollar, if the conversation rate is good enough I don't see any reason not to convert to Fiat straight away so you are the only one that can make this decision
119  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need to topup my mobile phone using crypto on: December 21, 2020, 05:13:30 PM
I agree with @VDraci, I haven't used any other website to top up my mobile except Electronium (ETN). There was a few ETN coin with me which has bought during ICO sell. Since the alts market is dumped, I hadn't bothered to sell it. But surprisingly, I saw there is an option for a mobile top-up for many countries including mine. So, I tried to recharge my mobile which has succeeded within a second. I was really surprised how they managed it. So, OP could try it, remember, they have strong KYC policies. So you have to comply with that to use their service. Also, Electronium (ETN) supports paying your utility bill although it's limited for a few countries, I think this is a good initiative at all.
Correct, it's why I don't give up on Electroneum project, it's less popular but the team are not joking around, even in africa countries you can use ETN to buy data directly or top up your balance for phone call purposes, this project will be big in future if the team continue to give better developments
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the top 5 ALTS you held in 2020 on: December 20, 2020, 02:16:00 PM
Actually Litecoin and Ethereum were my preferred choice for altcoins, ever since I started investing in 2016. But I lost all of my Litecoin holdings when Cryptopia went down in 2019. So now it is mostly Ethereum and small amounts of some of the other less known altcoins such as Deep Onion, Bitcoin Cash, Stellar Lumens, Veil and Bitsend. Actually storing all these coins is a big concern now. It is not easy.
I still can't figure out if it's worth holding veil, I had a high expectations for this privacy coin but so far it's disappointing, though its clear that development is still ongoing for the project, there is probability that the project may recover in near future, for now I'm in big loss already.
