Hello when the cryptopia open input and output gun ?
They will have it fixed, when they get to it. We have given them the notice to upgrade the wallet, but they also have other coins. We are on the list.

I know of Guncoin, and think Raven coin since the same tactics were used. (just not sure if it was using 0.16.0)
What else?

Team Guncoin is releasing a mandatory security patch upgrade - GUN Core V1.5.1. This is required due to a recent Bitcoin Core Team announcement of a vulnerability that was discovered last week in 0.16.0. As a result, Bitcoin Core is now at 0.16.3 and that includes the patch to eliminate the risk of the vulnerability to be exploited. https://bitcoincore.org/en/2018/09/20/notice/If you are running 1.5 and have already synced past the block with the illegal TX then you will need to start 1.5.1 with reindex=1 in your conf file, remember to remove that line before the next time you start. We have had Cryptopia to put GUN in Maintenance mode UNTIL the majority of the blockchain is on the new code. We will also update the seed nodes and the GUNCOINPOOL.com mining pool as well. We will be updating website and OP here shortly. https://github.com/guncoin/guncoin/releases/tag/v1.5.1All wallets have now been updated and are available on the website as well as from the GitHub link above. Please upgrade as soon as you can. Ok, that is one ugly bug, and a quick response!! Upgrade done..

Who is ready for ASICs?
They're coming soon...

As it turns out, the web wallet missed the last upgrade and we will be getting that taken care of this week I hope. That means, while coins are there they cannot be sent to an upgraded wallet. Sorry, we will get that taken care of.
I hate it when that happens...

I need some help and support from our non-USA international community. I was approached by a group this morning who has the ability and desire to sell GUNCOIN using credit cards. While on the surface, this sounds like a great idea, it is totally unavailable to USA users. So for starters, being in the USA, I cannot check it out, much less see how it works or what all is required of the users who sign up for it. They are located in SE Asia and are basically buying GUN on Cryptopia or whatever exchanges it is on, marking it up and reselling it. I have no problem with this or whatever markup they want to apply - but it seems this may do two things for GUN, create a new demand for GUN at the exchanges and second, give users who do not want to deal with the exchanges another option to acquire GUN (except those in the USA). Even better, they have an API, that could be embedded into sellers websites (except in the USA). So for our international community, please give me your feedback on what you find at: https://indacoin.com/en_GB/change/buy-guncoin-with-cardusd. Looking for some feedback from USA users as well. FYI, according to our block explorer, about 48% of GUN users are in the USA. So besides creating additional demand for the coin, it could benefit over half of GUN users. That site is reachable from the US through tor browser. I have been using versions of the tor browser and tor/privoxy setup for over 15 years now, more info on the tor browser - https://www.torproject.org/

Guncoin is being traded of course, just a little lower than usual like most other currencies out there.
I believe this is one of the lowmarketcap coins that when it breaks out, will make many people wish they were paying closer attention at times like these.
Agreed.. Guncoin is working its way into the right channels, and when it does peeps that grabbed some while it's cheap like this will reap rewards like the coins I bought for 5 sats, and sold for 150 to 250 sats in the last runup.. 30x to 50x payback on my part. Hell, the next run-up, the people that bought the coins from me should see a good profit. Buy low, sell high.. It may take a while but it is worth it!

I am pleased to release the long awaited Guncoin Web Wallet running with GUN Web V1.0. It is also current with GUN Core V1.4. This is our initial release that has been tested very well. We have plans to add a few more features - those will be added in the next quarter. The web wallet is a major step forward for GUN. It allows you to have a Guncoin wallet that you can access securely from almost any computer mobile device in the world. There is a very useful tool for anyone with a point-of-sale retail operation or just for showing Guncoin to someone on your mobile device. Like I said, we do have some planned upgrades in a few months. So we hope you like it and are happy to entertain your feedback on its operation or possible additional options in the future. As always, thanks for your patience and support. https://mygunwallet.comGood thing you posted that yesterday, not today.. (april fools day)

Things that are the method associated with inputting private keys from the paper wallet to move funds from this to the V1. 4 ?
Same as inputting private keys into any other wallet based on bitcoin core.

It is hoped that Guncoin will become a project that will bring great rewards to everyone in the future, and the snowstorm will always be in the past.
That is an interesting way of saying it. But thanks, we appreciate the well wishes.. And we hope the same thing!

Ooohhh, alpha-testing the new online wallet, it works in the most basic sense..
Now for the interface part!!
I have requirements before I will accept it as a functioning wallet, who else has suggestions? (yes, security is a requirement, feel free to make other suggestions)

HaHa, with a name like that, it's gotta be good! I feel like it's getting close to my birthday or something, with a nice present just around the corner Not good, super fantastic!! lol Funny guys, no that is NOT the real domain name......That has not been released yet and right now it is just an IP address and it will not be ready for a few days. But we are very close to having a fully functional web wallet for Guncoin which puts us one more step above many other coins..... Adding a secure web wallet to an already modernized coin puts Guncoin exactly where it needs to be, to reach mass adoption. (which is it already flirting with) It gives non-techies the ability to send and receive coin without the need to install and sync an off-line wallet. The web interface will work for both PC and Mobile applications. This is a good time for Guncoin, and it has been a long time coming.

I captured an early sneak preview.. <ssshhhhhhhhh!!!> lol

I contacted them through my GunBroker account and requested that they consider adding Guncoin as an official payment option. If everyone here that already has used GunBroker before (which I have) made a similar request it might actually make them look into it.
Yes, that is excellent news and the right approach.....Thanks! I second that.. Many users making the requests is far more likely to get it done!!

I've been in contact with the dev, his account has been locked out for over a month, and he's been trying to get it unlocked with no success.
Whoever is messing with the coin, honestly that's bitcointalk's fault because the won't unlock the dev account.
