1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Beginner needs help setting up Extra Flags on: March 04, 2014, 02:02:53 AM
Well if you read my post you would know this is for practice before I buy a mining PC. Second you did not answer any of my questions and I find your post both invalid and a wast of everybody's time.

My PC:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670k CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz
Installed memory (RAM) 8.00 GB {Can fit up to 32.00 GB}
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
Grafics Geforce GTX 760

I'm using GUIMiner -v2012-12-03
Server: deepbit

I know using nvidia is a bad idea but I built this system for Star Citizen with options to add dual graphics cards and max my memory to 32gb. I'm doing this to experiment and learn bit mining.

My question is what are extra flags and what do they do. I'm not entirely clear other than I believe it overclocks your GPU. Second question is does anybody know of a good extra flag setup that will allow me to do more than 94 Mhash/s or maximize performance.
