I'm mining SpliffCoin because the devs abandoned it. There's so few people mining it, most of the coins are going straight to me. I'm also collecting the cheap dumps from the exchange it's listed on. Once I feel I've collected enough, I plan on rebranding it and using it as the currency on a game server I'm working on.
I'll give it a go. I used to smoke spliffs haha What pool are you on if you want me to help out mining/ or a different pool if you dont =p. |

Hey everyone, Im curious to know what everyone is mining to know what i should be mining. i hodl around 30 different types of coins in my two years of mining and been through tons of shitcoins/funcoins too. Gpu/asic/ even CPU coins id like to know about. i have 23mh/s scrypt asic bunch of different cpus couple of g cards.  thanks |

google r9 280x (whaterever miner you use) config setting 280x was so common when i started two years ago. there will be so many guides. |

took me 20 minutes to set up pretty much any pool out there... they all have a getting started section/help or an irc. if you havent googled it yet you are just being lazy.

Solo mining is highly random, I'd say 1-5 blocks atm. 5 would be quite lucky.
1 block per day is not that bad, this coins is sold at 25k satoshi almost, this mean 0.0125 a day, so around $5 If you can sell it for 25ksat still I'll be impressed. I was selling for anywhere between 17 and 10k sat |

Has anyone reported any benchmarks yet? Particularly linux vs windows. I wonder what the best H/s is out there currently with the linux wallet.  i am getting around "hashespersec" : 340 running Ubuntu server with Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU @ 2.30GHz - 24cores - 12cores @1GB RAM Update: Have tried multiple hardware and OS and configurations. 372 seems to be as high as I can get it to go. Have yet to look at VM's. Too bad there are no AM3+ boards with multiple sockets. http://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=2337&cmp[]=2374 (copy and paste) Getting a third of your performance for less than a tenth of the cost. But your server is probably just idling anyways. I love running AMD 8 cores for this coin. Hell, Microcenter even put it on sale but If I could snag an AM3+ dual socket board, I'd be sooooo happy. |

sometimes i am having to wait a looooong time for a block. Ah solo mining...
I found 3 blocks today with 128 H/s off an amd 8 core. You must have a server and you aren't finding many blocks? waaaaat? |
