gtx1660 not very good option for mining. get 1660s or 1660ti
Where is this coming from?  I have some 1660 bought from China simply because they are cheaper, got them for 350$ each and they do 26MH mining Ethereum, what is your PC settings cos that's what stoping many from reach 25/26MH on this cards Ahhh how many times im telling this. you are happy with 25mhs because profit is good right now. Also 350 for that card too expensive. I bought 10 rx 480 8g for 600$+34$ shipping. which is doing solid 30-32mhs. im talking about 10 CARDS for 600$. You will how happy you are when you will start seeing 25mhs=0.2$ |

You are damn wrong, I have a rig with only 1660, I will drop the Hashrate I'm getting with each cards 1. Galax 25MH @ 47watt ( Samsung ) 2. Asus 1660 24.67MH @ 60 watt ( Samsung ) 3. Gigabyte 25.6MH @ 54watt (hynix) 4. Zotac 26MH @ 57watt (hynix) 5. MSI 25MH @ 56 watt ( hynix ) Silicon lottery wins on that Galax GPU, really impressive so I'm guessing that maxsun is just a victim of poor silicon lottery lol, I think OP should try hiveOS there are others using this GPU and their settings are available, just try them out one after the other Dude its 2021 year 20-25 mhs not interesting anymore. it was interesting in 2016. |

What card? Did you tried another driver version for your card?
It's an Nvidia gtx1660 card mate, I can't try another driver just like that since I'm running on hive OS but I don't think it's the driver because I'm using 6 gtx1660 in a motherboard and only one is giving me this fan error reading Oh i see. Check cables probably you feed your risers with molex or sata and overloaded too much. Check carefully even sata molex can melt. |

If the power supply was bad then it sure has done some damage to any components by giving them the wrong voltage.It is great that you changed to a working one but if the artifact is still there it is not a good sign.I think you should use a benchmark program for the GPU-s which will tell you how your GPU-s are behaving and compare to how it is regarding what other people are saying,what should be the GPU optimal parameters.If those parameters are correct then you have nothing to fear for and keep on mining,if those parameters are well below the recommended value then your card is damaged.
You cant mine with artifacted gpu. even you start mining you get incorrect shares or rig will crash I know cause whenever I tried to mine it will display 6MH on ETH and crash instantly, I believe something must have been damaged inside the GPU when they started to heat up, I'm glad it's only one down out of four though, I've learnt a lesson here, never buy cheap PSU for mining I have 2 cheap psu they are working fine but i let work them with polaris and old gtx 1000 series cards. Many cheap psu has high pulsation i dont know how to explain that you can read about pulsation on internet. When load is high then cards feels more pulsation and it bring unstable rig even kill some gpus. So never forget do NOT load any psu to max. my cheap psu written 1600w but i cant load more than 900watts because it gets hot and i see too much ripple. Even you get good psu adjust your consumption and leave space min 80% whats written on psu. |

If it is Vega then say bye bye. Sorry to say that. You can only repair it if there is vega gpu chip around but this gpus are very rare. Vegas has good mosfets so usually all broken vegas are with dead gpu. Thats why i told other day use very good psu for vegas and radeon 7.they are very sensitive to cheap psu.

It is still much better to mine Ethereum,I received the payout yesterday that I had accumulated at Ethermine and today I receive another one now that they lowered the payout to 0.01 ETH from 0.10 which was until yesterday afternoon.I too am not crazy to buy crypto at such prices,I like a whole lot more to generate it,in the good timings like this one and even in the worst timing (ETH 1500 USD) I am still happy to generate it,I pay normal electricity rates and with 300 Mhsh I make about 600 USD net profit monthly but I think is some more now with almost 3000 USD Ethereum price.
Agreed, anybody buying now must be insane, time to buy is over a long time ago, this is a huge trap before hehell, gpus might rise a bit now but then will crash very fast later on as the coins will be sank to the floor. About mining, do not buy gpus now, that will give you a false expectation, cause you think your roi will be 300 days and you will find out that 300 days will become 3000 days, so mine and sell, i'm not selling now because I believe thieves will take eth to 5k and i will sell around that. One last thing, if you people have gpus and electricity price higher than 0.05 kwh usd, better to sell those gpus right now or wait a little bit, cause once the bear market hits you will have to sell those gpus very cheap or mine at loss for at least 24 months. Hi Metroid i found better way to keep coins and money safe. There is stop limit on exchanges. Eth now at 3k which sound very nice but it is always wise put stop limit at 2.7-2.8k. if price goes up you also go up with stop limit. |

Thieves are spreading mining will end soon and eth 2.0 is coming soon and that is pure fake news and bs, as soon as thieves hit a price they want and they start dumping all their eth and eth crashes fast overnight then they suddenly they stop spreading the bs, mining will end only in 2.5 to 4 years, anything else is pure bs and fake.
Funny, they always start the bs as soon as they start buying it a lot in order to make idiots buying after them, I hold a lot of eth 30% my full capital but I'm not falling to their bs, I will sell high, not crazy to buy eth now or any other coin.

It is better withdraw big amounts paying fee ones. For example each time you withdraw 0.01ETH you are paying 2$ for fee. if you withdraw 5 times it makes 10$. So it is better withdraw like 0.05 or 0.1ETH and pay only 2$. Did i correctly understood this new Buterins masterpiece work? |

This hardfork is making me scared and excited at the same time as I just invested in some GPUs and I'm still looking forward to get some returns back before we head for the real bear market but I think that's not going to be the case

There is demand because it is still very profitable. 30mhs=2$ it means really good compared 30mhs=0.5$ used to be. other hand price are better than last month. I think there will be good price when eth price goes to 1.5-1k.Untill then dont even bother look for gpus
Can 30mh /$0.5 become a reality again? It's pretty hard to believe because people are starting to understand how crypto market works on the long term, they know that crypto is seasonal base so the future bear market that I'm expecting won't be like of the past Yes everything can be possible. No one knows the future. But always this crypto pushed limits and made people believe opposite even me in the past believed for some period that crypto dying. There was very good oportinutes to buy gpu asic coin but everybody was scared. Bad news saying ltc going to 0 bla bla. Weak hands sold their everything because who has high electricity couldnt afford bill lets see |

As this PSU had evident thermal regulation problems, the seller fully refund me. Wanted to share it. Waste of time, but not of money. Thanks for your help  I would pay extra $ 100-150 more and buy a new ATX power supply unit Corsair for 1200 watts or 2 Corsairs for 750 watts.
I would buy a server block only if I need a lot of 6-pin or 8-pin connectors and ATX blocks do not have enough of them.
You should not save money when buying power supplies, the losses can be much greater.
$100-150 extra for Corsair ? Huh it's more like $300 Indeed I need 12x 6/8 pin connectors Stop buying chinese craps!

Troll ? This 1200FB is known to be the best mining one. Unfortunately everybody need it, so it becomes hard to get a rock stable or brand new one. Not ready to spend $350 in 70% exploited PSU Is there any PSU not chinese in the world ?  I dont have any merits to give. But when I get to my main account I will do so. Thanks for follow up. I have in my collection 2 chinese psu they are working fine many years now. But it doesnt mean all chinese psu are good(it is wiritten 1600w but noway after i reach 1000w it gets hot so im kepping them at 800-900w. you must test before buy or buy 1 and test. then order 2nd. Im using them for cheap cards polaris. After i started using server psus im not looking anymore at high price psu. im buying normal 750w and + server psu doing my own cables even doing add2psu by myself. |
