Pakistan is doing great, it will be an easy win for them. It is bringing much excitement into the world cup which seems to be finished.
I think it will be comfortable win rather than easy one. Another upset is coming, interesting. After a run of bad choices finally I am going to get 2 points and will go up in leaderboard table. So this match made the WC more unpredictable. After this match only India will be left as an unbeaten side. This shows the quality of Indian side as compared to other teams. I think India, Australia, New Zealand and England will make to the semis and India will lift the cup. Now its not easy for England as they need to win both matches if they want to qualify and New Zealand is also going tough as now they also need one more win so we have very interesting matches in next few days with many upsets. |

Wow, the English team seems to be in real trouble. 4 wickets down on just 96, and they still need about 190 runs to win this one. Let's see if Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes are able to continue playing with the momentum they've gained till now. Currently, they've succeeded in getting a partnership of 44 runs.
Keep an eye on the required run rate, as it has edged past 7.00. I know that Stokes is a big hitter, but they need to score at least one run per ball if they are going to have any chance of winning this match. If they are unable to score at that rate against Stoinis and Lyon (RR for last 5 overs at 4.80), then how can you expect them to score 7 runs per over against Starc and Cummins? Another wicket gone just now ant the score is now 128/5 in 29.1 overs. And now Ben stokes and chris woakes are batting. Stokes are playing good in this word cup. But need more positive play by most of the player for wining the match. Only Stokes can not win the match alone. SO I want to say England will loss their all wicket before reaching the target, That's so unfortunate for the English team, they are losing this game. I really wished they'd have won this word cup but with current performance I have little hope. India and New Zealand are the only with no loses, but with last close win of New Zealand and even though their run rate are better, India clearly looks as the most strong team here. India could be on top and Aussies second now we have to wait for for last two spots because after this defeat English team struggling for spot in last four and New Zealand is also in good form so its very interesting to watch what happening now in last few days. |

As I predicted, it was a game below 300 runs and now Eng are struggling to get 287 as 5 wickets have already fallen. With Stokes on strike, still hope is alive but if he gets out, it will be more tough to chase down 122 runs.
If England going to lost this match then surely its very hard for them to have spot in last four because Indian team is much better and stronger then Aussies and Sri Lanka so they are going to lost this match as well which will kick them out. |

Australia needs some early wicket if they want to win this match. If England wins today, the twist of 1st round will be no longer.

It's advantage Australia, as the pitch is offering a lot of support for the pacers. England is going to struggle against the Australian pace battery of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Jason Behrendorff. The problem here is that England will be struggling to reach the semis if they lose this match. Bangladesh is having 7 points and they will be at 9 if they could beat Pakistan.
No team has a significant disadvantage or advantage at this moment, its 50-50% chance for both sides. Aussie undoubtedly messed up bad with their middle order and 50 runs short, if we consider their excellent opening stand in their inning. England need to play first 10-12 overs carefully, if they manage to score 50 runs with only one wicket loss (James Vince, not Bairstow) then they are very much in the game and anything can happen, but nothing is sure at the moment because both teams are old-time rivals and fierce competitors. This is going to be very interesting match as both teams going for 2 points and old and fierce rivalry is going on. |

Today England done very reasonable job and restrict Australia 285 which is not good enough for Australia to defend even Finch and warner play very good and give very good opening stand more then 120+ runs lets see what is response from English battling line up as now they are very hot favorite for winning this match.
Edit: look like its going to be very interesting as Australia have first wicket just on second ball of English inning.
Edit: Root gone and England 15/2 look like its Aussies day as they have very strong start of second session.

Can anyone tell me which teams still have chances to qualify for the semi finals ? Anyone can do some detail analysis on the points table. I thought the top 4 teams (India, Australia, NZ and England) have already qualified . Isn't ? From my point of view your all teams also already qualified but we have some problem as now England is going to face some tough task against India, Australia and New Zealand if they lost two more matches then we have any one from down otherwise this is complete list of qualified teams. |

This is a DO or DIE for Pakistan. If Pakistan win this match, then the hope is still alive but a lost today will end the world cup dream for Pakistan. I wonder if they ever even dream of it I think Pakistan will win this match easily. South Africa's recent performance is worse, Pakistan is well ahead of them. But they will not be able to qualify for Semi maybe, because almost 4 teams are showing their strength. 2 teams playing today for the pride and SA would just be unhappy the way they have played cricket this time in the WC and as a result are out of the WC. Pakistan is batting at 171/3 in 34 overs and should target to reach 320+ so that they can put pressure on SA. Pakistani batting line done good job even they are short of 20 to 25 runs but bowlers give them some good start as Aamir sent Amla back in his first over lets see what is response from others in remaining match. |
