1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: January 12, 2021, 04:02:06 PM
I'm not sure whether all you stakenet shill(s) realise but when there's multiple newbie posts across close on a dozen threads shilling stakenet it's more likely to deter investors rather than attract them.

Going back a few years a couple of bagholders could attract new investors by posting on multiple threads but people are more cautious nowadays, you're doing more harm than good in attracting attention to the project regardless of its potential.

Sure man... The project just pumped 35% today. Call us shills all you want, but if you actually listened, you'd be WAY in the green right now. When this thread was made XSN was evaluated at $0.05. It's at $0.43 now, and soon it will do another 10x on top of that.  Grin
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Stakenet (XSN) Will Be Listed On Bitfinex 19th Of January! Next 10x Project on: January 12, 2021, 03:52:15 PM
Has anyone here noticed Stakenet as of yet?
It was just announced today that the project will be listed on Bitfinex as of the 19th of January.

It pumped massively in price today due to these news.
They've made the ONLY DEX in the world with instant exchange settlements between BTC / ETH / LTC / XSN. More trading pairs coming soon.
They make use of masternodes to act as Lightning Network and Connext service hubs.
Masternodes turn a profit on trading fees and other services such as cold staking contracts (coming soon), which is basically smart contracts.

The video below is a promo video of their "Simple Swap" which makes it possible to swap assets instantly with next to 0 fees. The video shows BTC converted to USDT.
Uniswap likely won't stand a chance against this DEX. This project will likely surge into the 100 projects soon, so a 3-5x in market cap is likely happening over the next week or 2.

Promo video: https://streamable.com/codw1m

$5 valuation per coin is likely what we'll see very soon, due to these major utilities they bring to the crypto markets.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / First DEX with instant 2nd layer exchange settlements between BTC ETH USDT on: January 09, 2021, 04:06:58 PM
Hey there!

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend and all the gains we've had recently. I couldn't stop noticing all the drama between projects discussed here (NANO, BTC etc). due to the fees as of lately. Paying a $60 fee to trade $200 worth of a token on Uniswap is ridiculous.

This made me search for scaling solutions and projects trying to deal with it, as I can't see a future with anyone blatantly accepting these high fees, even when BTC is being talked about as "digital gold".

This video caught my attention: https://streamable.com/codw1m - It's a promo video from Stakenet's single swap service which is available in their custom multi-currency wallet with their DEX integrated into it as well.

They make use of the Lightning Network + The Connext network to make off-chain trading possible with a few clicks.
Anyone who's dealt with the Lightning Network otherwise has probably seen all the steps needed to even use it, which isn't user friendly at all.

This whole setup will soon be managed and controlled by more than 2700 masternodes, who will serve as Lightning and Connext hubs, and prevent bad actors from entering the network.

Decentralized exchanges need to be instantly tradeable, otherwise, nobody bothers to even use them, since convenience is the single most important aspect of people's daily lives.

This is an interesting project, which I predict will enter the top 100 in terms of market caps soon, new top 5 exchange listing on it's, which has frankly been one of the things that have stopped this project from being taken seriously.

I'd love to know what you guys think?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: January 09, 2021, 04:04:52 PM
i don't really understand if xsn will be the king of defi, may i know the reason mate ?
because for me the king of defi is chainlink my friend
you can check here https://coinmarketcap.com/defi

Chainlink and Stakenet cannot be compared in any way, lol.

Completely different projects, with completely different roadmaps.

Stakenet has WAAY more upside potential than Chainlink has right now, due to the fact that XSN is sitting on a VERY low marketcap.
Check this promo video which shows an instant decentralized swap between BTC and USDT: https://streamable.com/codw1m
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [XMR] Monero - Price Speculation. $1,000 doable long term? on: December 30, 2020, 01:10:12 PM
Hey guys.

With the recent news of Ripple getting delisted from all major exchanges, XLM could likely be the next one being targetted?

Recently DEX's has exploded in volume, because they don't enforce KYC or any restrictions whatsoever. Seems like more and more people care about privacy at this point.
This very fact made me wonder what the future price of XMR could likely be - Knowing that they are working on atomic swaps, which will make it possible to trade XMR on DEX's! Grin

Monero can't be controlled by anyone, nobody can see how much you hold. Complete privacy is pretty cool, which made the IRS set a bounty of $625,000 for anyone who break its encryption.
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/the-irs-offers-a-625-000-bounty-to-anyone-who-can-break-monero-and-lightning

Put two and two together and it isn't unlikely we'll see XMR trading above $1,000, what do you think?
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best DEX for trading? on: December 11, 2020, 06:21:34 AM
The best DEX exchange which I prefer ahead of others is IDEX.
IDEX is a non-custodial exchange that integrates with any custody answer and permits customers to exchange with each other with out giving up manage to a third party custodian. IDEX is particular as compared to different DEXs in that it employs a hybrid model, wherein the bulk of the change is operated with the aid of using IDEX, and the blockchain is simplest applied for custody and settlement. This permits them to remedy a number of the UX problems that exist in extra decentralized models, consisting of such things as front-strolling and on-chain order collisions. And no VPN use for trading.

A "hybrid" isn't decentralized, get your facts straight, lol.

Uniswap is without a doubt the most used DEX out there, unfortunately it has it's limitations, which thankfully Blocknet is trying to solve on their own DEX.

Here's a great read explaining the key differences between the two: https://cointelegraph.com/news/decentralized-exchange-vows-to-remove-defis-limitations
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Instant BTC + ETH Trading Made Possible By Stakenet - XSN on: December 03, 2020, 02:59:02 PM
How much fees asked there for simple BTC to ethereum convertion ? Is this one working the same as shapeshift where you only need to transfer amount and you will recieve it in provided address .i use that website in early 2017 when they are not requiring kyc for easy trade but not now. Is that exchange also asking to be verified with identity required?

Can you also trade in that exchange from ethereum to BTC and vice versa?
Afaik, if you start with standard BTC you pay the on-chain tx and a tiny channel rental fee once (all automated) to move it to L2 and swap it into ETH. From there, it's on L2. The same is true in the case of Ethereum. Start with ETH on L1, pay the on-chain fee and tiny channel rental fee once. The rest is done on L2.
Was shapeshift a mixing coin mixing service? I remember there were a few places that acted as custodians and triggered exchanges immediately, but they are in a rather murky area legally-speaking and are also capable of pulling an exit scam.
The biggest appeals to using Stakenet DEX are: no accounts, no KYC, non-custodial wallets, fast sync times, and no need to manually download individual blockchains for every coin you want to swap into. Your wallets and your keys are always yours and yours alone.

Stakenet's simple swap service actually looks a LOT like Shapeshifts layout. Works pretty much the same, so it's a great alternative to how Shapeshift used to work (before KYC).

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: December 03, 2020, 02:54:08 PM
I can't see that Stakenet can go to 10x yet, there are some factors that are stuck,
in Github development, I don't see them updating, about development, because it should be important for a project,
take a look at Github Waves or Algorand, they really update on Github and the price of these two coins is greatly affected because of that,
if Stakenet is able to do an intense update on Github, then I am sure 10x can be achieved.

As mentioned above this post, Stakenet is working in private repositories to prevent other projects from stealing their work, which has been under development for the past 2 years now.
10x from here is actually not that unlikely, in fact I believe this project will 50x once it truly launches their DEX with Ethereum integrated, as it will pretty much make Uniswap obsolete. Instant BTC + ETH trading with close to zero fees is hard to beat.  Wink
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Speculation Thread on: December 03, 2020, 06:42:53 AM
Blocknet is a huge gamble, but if you really want to gamble, it's a good one to bet your money on, since they've been around for so long, and have kept developing for so many years. Could explode next run.
Holding a small bag, in case it takes off.  Smiley
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Instant BTC + ETH Trading Made Possible By Stakenet - XSN on: December 02, 2020, 04:11:13 PM
Stakenet is really a great DEXs platform that can support Defi projects, but at the moment Stakenet doesn't have many real users. Although the above articles are quite complete about the introduction of features and technology of Stakenet, that is not enough. It's best to create a bounty campaign and do AMA in communities in which you feel important.
So if you want to do AMA in large communities please contact me, I am managing a sizable community of about 13k people and lots of Vietnamese KOLs.

Don't hesitate to PM me to get the big discount.

Well, the DEX volume has  increased a lot the past few months, more and more people trades on their platform, and I'm sure as soon as ETH is integrated that a LOT of Uniswap users will move over to a cheaper and faster alternative  Grin
I think most of that volume is bot stress testing, so they can push the lightning network more and see what it is capable of. This also allows them to show that lightning can scale.

True, however the overall volume was pretty impressive before they even started stress testing considering it was in closed beta. I'm sure the simplicity of the DEX has a lot to say. Convenience plays a huge factor when you look at an exchange and how successful it really is. Uniswap is a great example of that, despite slow and expensive.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: November 26, 2020, 01:29:52 AM
Why would anyone ever want to keep using centralized exchanges, especially when their volume becomes irrelevant?

Wow, didn't realise this post is 1 year ago
Although DEX didn't dominant and convert all people from CEX to DEXs
But we still see good progress

Uniswap/Balancer are all doing fine
This also create new market opportunity like Defi lending market(no central organization controlling), Defi margin trading, Defi Options and more

Uniswap got popular but too many people complain about transaction fees, which makes sense. Gonna be interesting to see if XSN can pull it off with their new Connext partnership.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: November 25, 2020, 06:50:06 PM
There are many new exchanges available today that could replace UNISWAP like TOMOCHAIN's tomodex, KOMODO's atomic swap, Solana's SERUM DEX, and a few more coming in the future. They provide good service and have quite a high volume of transactions and are of particular interest to the community.
Stakenet may be a new project with a great idea but it needs a specific product with strong community interest. So far I have just learned about this project. This will hardly guarantee their success.

They are on-chain DEX's, which means high trading fees, and slow trading.

Doesn't compare the slightest to Stakenet
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet hitting $1 - Doable? on: November 23, 2020, 04:14:38 PM
26% gains today. Not bad.

The recent news seems to be what everyone invested in XSN has been waiting for.

Exchange news
News on Ethereum integration
DEX stats page
Simple Swap progress

Best performer in my portfolio for today, wish I bought more when it dipped a few days ago.

Indeed pretty good news. I wonder which exchange these guys have been making deals with. A top tier exchange would definitely help this project gain some serious traction.  Wink
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: November 23, 2020, 04:06:45 PM
On Dec 22, 2017, the average BTC transaction was $55. See https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html

ETH was about $5 per transaction at its peak.

Why did this happen? Transactions were all being done on chain and it got congested.

Uniswap currently has more than 200 mio daily volume, but transactions are on-chain so ETH gas fees are through the roof.

Stakenet is solving this by implementing the Raiden Network, AND the Lightning Network to perform instant off-chain transactions which are way cheaper.

All the fees that are collected from people trading is used to pay masternode owners, AND to buy up XSN and burn it from the total supply.

In other words, XSN will be deflationary, just like Bitcoin. Once people realize how EASY it is to use their DEX, volume is going to go through the roof.

It's currently in BETA, but is being soft launched at the end of the month.  Wink.

you write this thread at august 19 this year, wich mean the dex alreacy already launched right ? because you wrote this "but is being soft launched at the end of the month"
then how is the dex now ? does the dex this work properly ?
thanks

The DEX can be downloaded from the Stakenet Discord channel, it's still in open beta, however you can trade BTC LTC and XSN. Ethereum is being integrated right now, with a bunch of testers working to remove any possible flaws and bugs. Smiley
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much do you know about Lightning Network? on: November 23, 2020, 04:01:11 PM
Take a look at Stakenet - XSN.

Stakenet is working on exactly this problem, and have been the leading project in Lightning Network developments since the past 2 years.

They built their own DEX, which is integrated in a multi currency wallet. This makes it easy to use it, and very convenient as well. The Lightning Network is hosted by Stakenet's 2700+ masternodes, which makes the whole setup decentralized.

Instant BTC/LTC/XSN trading is already working fine, next thing they work on is Ethereum integratiion via the Connext protocol. Once this is enabled, you'll have a fully functional DEX, which works pretty much the same way as Uniswap, but transactions will be instant and with extremely low fees.
Not only that, but this DEX had liquidity providers, meaning you can trade through centralized exchanges such as Binance, without needing an account on there, hence NO KYC.

This project isn't as known as it probably should be, but I believe once ETH is integrated, that people will start noticing it, since the biggest problem on Uniswap right now is:

Failed transactions
High Gas Fees
Slow transactions

Wrapping up BTC is like trading with a condom on. It's not really ideal when you can trade the real thing on a 2nd layer solution, as provided by Stakenet.

Here's a picture of how it looks like for reference:

This is great; why they worked so under the radar?
Stakenet Dex is a full package! I think they solved the biggest problem of BTC scalability by introducing Stakenet DEX!

Decentralized Exchange, Instant trades, low fee, no KYC, and liquidity providers. This is DEX, which feels like CEX!

I guess they've just waited with marketing until they had a good product to show, which is getting close to a full release now. Indeed it feels like a CEX, that's the whole point they're aiming for.
Uniswap got very popular very fast, but the transaction fees is crazy high because the Ethereum network is too congested.

XSN Dev Update November 20
This month, the team have been working to prepare the light wallet, DEX stats page, designs for the public release of the DEX client and software as well as a website for the launch. This work has included stabilizing swap interfaces (which involved working with our closed beta group), development of our DEX stat tracker, running continuous stress testing of the DEX and more.

There are tons of newbie accounts writing here, which tells me just one thing, stakenet team is working overtime on marketing and going viral, they want to spend as much time and effort on getting their name heard as they spend on development of it. I am sure they have enough money to spend on marketing and this is why they are spending it on people to do these type of topics but there is a billion topics about stakenet here that we do not really need at all.

I would say smarter way of doing marketing would be airdrops and bounties because that way they could at least get everyone involved instead of hiring people to create bitcointalk accounts and writing here about their coins. It is definitely not a bad project, it is a cool idea if they can get attraction but this is not the way of it.

Stakenet's community is pretty damn huge.. The community is extremely active overall - Twitter especially where Stakenet has more engagement than Binance, which is impressive as fuck.
Don't believe me? Go check for youself.

Stakenet is a promising project with a ton of investors behind, naturally they want to talk about it at places like here.

The problem is when there's multiple threads about Stakenet here and a lot of posts from the same members and newbies in every one of those threads it gives the impression of a handful of bagholders trying to pump the price which might of worked a few years ago but nowadays people are far more careful and selective in which projects they invest in.

Stakenet certainly looks like a promising project but there are better ways of promoting it.

There's a handful of very bullish people promoting Stakenet on Twitter, that's all I know. I'm VERY excited about the project, which is why I try to share it here. I agree there's quite a few threads regarding Stakenet here, but I guess a good project gets talked about. There's quite a few Chainlink threads here as well, both projects are being discussed a lot on 4chan as well, both having a very large community.

There's hardly anyone investing in alt's right now, which makes sense with BTC's run lately, but XSN did 10x in august, which shows how much potential this project has. It did retrace quite a bit, but so did all major alt's even LINK and ADA, just to name a few.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - The Next 50x Altcoin Out There? on: November 21, 2020, 12:59:13 PM
After this recent announcement, a 100x is possible as well.

Uniswap is extremely popular, but trading isn't feeless, or instant. Stakenet's DEX will be Uniswap on steroids, no kidding. Gained 20%+ over night.. Seems to keep its momentum.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $10,170,000,000 was transferred over the Ethereum network in Q2 on: November 19, 2020, 06:44:06 AM
Now imagine that volume if Ethereum could be sent instantly and with virtually zero gas fees?

That's what Stakenet is working on, and they already achieved instant BTC transactions btw Wink.

Cool thing is, investors profit off of the trading fees on their instant tradeable DEX. It's a win/win for everybody!
